1. கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசையாமல் நிலைத்திருக்கும் சீயோன் பர்வதத்தைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள்.

1. A song of degrees. They that trust in the Lord, shalbe as mount Zion, which can not be remooued, but remaineth for euer.

2. பர்வதங்கள் எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்குமாப்போல், கர்த்தர் இதுமுதல் என்றென்றைக்கும் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிறார்.

2. As the mountaines are about Ierusalem: so is the Lord about his people from henceforth and for euer.

3. நீதிமான்கள் அநியாயத்திற்குத் தங்கள் கைகளை நீட்டாதபடிக்கு, ஆகாமியத்தின் கொடுங்கோல் நீதிமான்களுடைய சுதந்தரத்தின்மேல் நிலைத்திராது.

3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous, least the righteous put forth their hand vnto wickednes.

4. கர்த்தாவே, நல்லவர்களுக்கும் இருதயத்தில் செம்மையானவர்களுக்கும் நன்மை செய்யும்.

4. Doe well, O Lord, vnto those that be good and true in their hearts.

5. தங்கள் கோணலான வழிகளுக்குச் சாய்கிறவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் அக்கிரமக்காரரோடே போகப்பண்ணுவார். இஸ்ரவேலுக்கோ சமாதானம் உண்டு.
