1. கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தின்படி நடக்கிற உத்தம மார்க்கத்தார் பாக்கியவான்கள்.

1. ALEPH. How happy the men of blameless life, who walk in the law of Yahweh.

2. அவருடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேடுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.

2. How happy they who observe his testimonies, with a whole heart, they seek him.

3. அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்வதில்லை; அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறார்கள்.

3. Yea, they have not wrought perversity, In his ways, have they walked.

4. உமது கட்டளைகளை நாங்கள் கருத்தாய்க் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி நீர் கற்பித்தீர்.

4. Thou, hast commanded thy precepts, that they should be diligently kept.

5. உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி, என் நடைகள் ஸ்திரப்பட்டால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.

5. Oh would that my ways might be settled! that I might keep thy statutes.

6. நான் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கண்ணோக்கும்போது, வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவதில்லை.

6. Then, shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7. உம்முடைய நீதிநியாயங்களை நான் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, செம்மையான இருதயத்தால் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.

7. I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I have learned thy righteous regulations.

8. உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்; முற்றிலும் என்னைக் கைவிடாதேயும்.

8. Thy statutes, will I keep, Do not thou forsake me utterly.

9. வாலிபன் தன் வழியை எதினால் சுத்தம்பண்ணுவான்? உமது வசனத்தின்படி தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதினால்தானே.

9. BETH. Wherewithal can a young man keep pure his way? By taking heed, according to thy word.

10. என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன், என்னை உமது கற்பனைகளைவிட்டு வழிதப்பவிடாதேயும்.

10. With all my heart, have I sought thee, Suffer me not to be led astray from thy commandments.

11. நான் உமக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவஞ்செய்யாதபடிக்கு, உமது வாக்கை என்னிருதயத்தில் வைத்து வைத்தேன்.

11. In my heart, have I treasured what thou hast said, to the end I may not sin against thee.

12. கர்த்தாவே, நீர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர்; உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

12. Blessed art thou, O Yahweh Teach me thy statutes.

13. உம்முடைய வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையெல்லாம் என் உதடுகளால் விவரித்திருக்கிறேன்.

13. With my lips, have I recounted All the regulations of thy mouth.

14. திரளான செல்வத்தில் களிகூருவதுபோல, நான் உமது சாட்சிகளின் வழியில் களிகூருகிறேன்.

14. In the way of thy testimonies, have I rejoiced, Like as over all riches.

15. உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானித்து, உமது வழிகளைக் கண்ணோக்குகிறேன்.

15. In thy precepts, will I meditate, that I may discern thy paths.

16. உமது பிரமாணங்களில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது வசனத்தை மறவேன்.

16. In thy statutes, will I find my dear delight, I will not forget thy word.

17. உமது அடியேனுக்கு அனுகூலமாயிரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்து, உமது வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

17. GIMEL. Bestow thy bounties upon thy servant let me live, That I may observe thy word.

18. உமது வேதத்திலுள்ள அதிசயங்களை நான் பார்க்கும்படிக்கு, என் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும்.

18. Unveil thou mine eyes, that I may discern Wondrous things out of thy law.

19. பூமியிலே நான் பரதேசி; உமது கற்பனைகளை எனக்கு மறையாதேயும்.

19. A sojourner, am, I, in the earth, Do not hide from me, thy commandments.

20. உமது நியாயங்கள்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா எக்காலமும் வைத்திருக்கிற வாஞ்சையினால் தொய்ந்து போகிறது.

20. My soul is crushed with longing for thy just decisions at all times.

21. உமது கற்பனைகளை விட்டு வழிவிலகின சபிக்கப்பட்ட அகங்காரிகளை நீர் கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறீர்.

21. Thou hast rebuked the proud as accursed, who stray from thy commandments.

22. நிந்தையையும் அவமானத்தையும் என்னை விட்டகற்றும்; நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

22. Roll from off me, reproach and contempt, For, thy testimonies, have I observed.

23. பிரபுக்களும் உட்கார்ந்து எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; உமது அடியேனோ, உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.

23. Even rulers have taken their seat, against me, have talked, Thy servant, will still meditate in thy statutes.

24. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் எனக்கு இன்பமும், என் ஆலோசனைக்காரருமாயிருக்கிறது.

24. Yea, thy testimonies, are my dear delight, My counsellors.

25. என் ஆத்துமா மண்ணோடு ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

25. DALETH. My soul, cleaveth to the dust, Give me life, according to thy word.

26. என் வழிகளை நான் உமக்கு விவரித்துக் காட்டினபோது எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

26. My ways, I recounted, and thou didst answer me, Teach me thy statutes.

27. உமது கட்டளைகளின் வழியை எனக்கு உணர்த்தியருளும்; அப்பொழுது உமது அதிசயங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன்.

27. The way of thy precepts, cause thou me to understand, and I will indeed meditate in thy wonders.

28. சஞ்சலத்தால் என் ஆத்துமா கரைந்து போகிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை எடுத்து நிறுத்தும்.

28. My soul weepeth itself away, for grief, Confirm thou me, according to thy word.

29. பொய்வழியை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்கி, உம்முடைய வேதத்தை எனக்கு அருள்செய்யும்.

29. The way of falsehood, take thou from me, and, with thy law, O favour me.

30. மெய்வழியை நான் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்.

30. The way of faithfulness, have I chosen, Thy regulations, have I deemed right.

31. உமது சாட்சிகள்மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருக்கிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, என்னை வெட்கத்திற்குட்படப்பண்ணாதேயும்.

31. I have kept close to thy testimonies, O Yahweh! do not put me to shame.

32. நீர் என் இருதயத்தை விசாலமாக்கும்போது, நான் உமது கற்பனைகளின் வழியாக ஓடுவேன்.

32. The way of thy commandments, will I run, for thou wilt enlarge my heart.

33. கர்த்தாவே, உமது பிரமாணங்களின் வழியை எனக்குப் போதியும்; முடிவுபரியந்தம் நான் அதைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

33. HE. Point out to me, O Yahweh, the way of thy statutes, that I may observe it unto the end.

34. எனக்கு உணர்வைத் தாரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உமது வேதத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

34. Give me understanding, that I may observe thy law, that I may keep it with a whole heart.

35. உமது கற்பனைகளின் பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்; நான் அதில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன்.

35. Guide me in the path of thy commandments, for, therein, do I find pleasure.

36. என் இருதயம் பொருளாசையைச் சாராமல், உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சாரும்படி செய்யும்.

36. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not unto unjust gain.

37. மாயையைப் பாராதபடி நீர் என் கண்களை விலக்கி, உமது வழிகளில் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

37. Turn away mine eyes, from beholding vanity, In thy way, give me life.

38. உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறதற்கு ஏற்ற உமது வாக்கை உமது அடியேனுக்கு உறுதிப்படுத்தும்.

38. Establish, unto thy servant, thy word, which pertaineth to the reverence of thee.

39. நான் அஞ்சுகிற நிந்தையை விலக்கியருளும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நல்லவைகள்.

39. Cause to pass away my reproach, that I have feared, for, thy regulations, are good.

40. இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகள்மேல் வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது நீதியால் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

40. Lo! I have longed for thy precepts, In thy righteousness, give me life.

41. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வாக்கின்படி, உமது தயவும் உமது இரட்சிப்பும் எனக்கு வருவதாக.

41. WAW. And let thy lovingkindness reach me, O Yahweh, thy salvation, according to thy word.

42. அப்பொழுது என்னை நிந்திக்கிறவனுக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லுவேன்; உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.

42. So shall I have something to answer him that reproacheth me, That I have trusted in thy word.

43. சத்திய வசனம் முற்றிலும் என் வாயினின்று நீங்கவிடாதேயும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

43. And do not snatch away from my mouth the word of truth in any wise, because, for thy regulation, have I waited.

44. நான் எப்பொழுதும் என்றைக்கும் உமது வேதத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

44. That I may keep thy law continually, to times age-abiding and beyond.

45. நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறபடியால், விசாலத்திலே நடப்பேன்.

45. That I may walk to and fro in a large place, because, thy precepts, have I sought.

46. நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் குறித்து, ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் வெட்கப்படாமல் பேசுவேன்.

46. That I may speak of thy testimonies before kings, and not be ashamed.

47. நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளின்பேரில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பேன்.

47. That I may find dear delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48. நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கையெடுப்பேன், உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன்.

48. That I may lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and may meditate in thy statutes.

49. நீர் என்னை நம்பப்பண்ணின வசனத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்காக நினைத்தருளும்.

49. ZAYIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50. அதுவே என் சிறுமையில் எனக்கு ஆறுதல், உம்முடைய வாக்கு என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தது.

50. This, is my comfort in mine affliction, that, thy word, hath given me life.

51. அகந்தைக்காரர் என்னை மிகவும் பரியாசம்பண்ணியும், நான் உமது வேதத்தைவிட்டு விலகினதில்லை.

51. Insolent men, have derided me exceedingly, From thy law, have I not swerved.

52. கர்த்தாவே, ஆதிமுதலான உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளை நான் நினைத்து என்னைத் தேற்றுகிறேன்.

52. I have remembered thy regulations, which have come down from age-past times, O Yahweh, and have consoled myself.

53. உமது வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகுகிற துன்மார்க்கர்நிமித்தம் நடுக்கம் என்னைப் பிடித்தது.

53. A raging heat, hath seized me, by reason of the lawless, who forsake thy law.

54. நான் பரதேசியாய்த் தங்கும் வீட்டிலே உமது பிரமாணங்கள் எனக்குக் கீதங்களாயின.

54. Songs, have thy statutes become to me, in my house of sojourn.

55. கர்த்தாவே, இராக்காலத்தில் உமது நாமத்தை நினைத்து, உமது வேதத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

55. I have remembered, in the night, thy Name, O Yahweh, and have kept thy law.

56. நான் உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டபடியினால், இது எனக்குக் கிடைத்தது.

56. This, have I had, because, thy precepts, have I observed.

57. கர்த்தாவே, நீரே என் பங்கு; நான் உமது வசனங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்றேன்.

57. HETH. My portion, is Yahweh, I have promised that I would keep thy words.

58. முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய தயவுக்காகக் கெஞ்சுகிறேன்; உமது வாக்கின்படி எனக்கு இரங்கும்.

58. I have sought the smile of thy face with all my heart, Show me favour, according to thy word.

59. என் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டு, என் கால்களை உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பினேன்.

59. I have thought upon my ways, and have turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60. உமது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி, நான் தாமதியாமல் தீவிரித்தேன்.

60. I have hastened, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.

61. துன்மார்க்கரின் கூட்டங்கள் என்னைக் கொள்ளையிட்டும், உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நான் மறக்கவில்லை.

61. The meshes of the lawless, have surrounded me, Thy law, have I not forgotten.

62. உமது நீதியான நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம், உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி பாதிராத்திரியில் எழுந்திருப்பேன்.

62. At midnight, I arise to give thanks unto thee, For thy righteous regulations.

63. உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிற அனைவருக்கும் நான் தோழன்.

63. Companion, am I, to all who revere thee, and to them who keep thy precepts.

64. கர்த்தாவே, பூமி உமது கிருபையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

64. Of thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, the earth, is full, Thy statutes, teach thou me.

65. கர்த்தாவே, உமது வசனத்தின்படி உமது அடியேனை நன்றாய் நடத்தினீர்.

65. TETH. Well, hast thou dealt with thy servant, O Yahweh, according to thy word.

66. உத்தம நிதானிப்பையும் அறிவையும் எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும், உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளின்பேரில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறேன்.

66. Good judgment and knowledge, teach thou me, For, in thy commandments, have I trusted.

67. நான் உபத்திரவப்படுவதற்கு முன் வழிதப்பி நடந்தேன்; இப்பொழுதோ உம்முடைய வார்த்தையைக் காத்து நடக்கிறேன்.

67. Before I was afflicted, I myself was going astray, but, now, thy word, have I kept.

68. தேவரீர் நல்லவரும், நன்மை செய்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

68. Good, thou art, and doing good, Teach me thy statutes.

69. அகங்காரிகள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பொய்களைப் பிணைக்கிறார்கள்; நானோ, முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

69. Insolent men have plastered falsehood over me, I, with a whole heart, will observe thy precepts.

70. அவர்கள் இருதயம் நிணந்துன்னிக் கொழுத்திருக்கிறது; நானோ, உம்முடைய வேதத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிறேன்.

70. Gross, like fat, is their heart, I, in thy law, have found dear delight.

71. நான் உபத்திரவப்பட்டது எனக்கு நல்லது; அதினால் உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

71. It is, well for me, that I was afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.

72. அநேகமாயிரம் பொன் வெள்ளியைப்பார்க்கிலும், நீர் விளம்பின வேதமே எனக்கு நலம்.

72. Better to me, is the law of thy mouth, than thousands of gold and silver.

73. உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னை உண்டாக்கி, என்னை உருவாக்கிற்று; உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.

73. YODH. Thine own hands, have made me, and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74. நான் உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறபடியால், உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள் என்னைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்.

74. They who revere thee, shall see me and rejoice, that, for thy word, I waited.

75. கர்த்தாவே, உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நீதியுள்ளதென்றும், உண்மையின்படி என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்தினீரென்றும் அறிவேன்.

75. I know, O Yahweh, that righteous are thy regulations, and, in faithfulness, didst thou afflict me.

76. நீர் உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வாக்கின்படி, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தேற்றுவதாக.

76. Let thy lovingkindness, I beseech thee, serve to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.

77. நான் பிழைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கு உமது இரக்கங்கள் எனக்குக் கிடைப்பதாக; உம்முடைய வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி.

77. Let thy compassions reach me, that I may live, for, thy law, is my dear delight.

78. அகங்காரிகள் என்னைப் பொய்களினால் கெடுக்கப் பார்த்தபடியால் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவார்களாக; நானோ உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.

78. Let insolent men, be ashamed, because, by means of falsehood, they have dealt with me perversely, I, will meditate in thy precepts.

79. உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது சாட்சிகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னண்டைக்குத் திரும்புவார்களாக.

79. Let them who revere thee, turn unto me, even they who know thy testimonies.

80. நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடிக்கு, என் இருதயம் உமது பிரமாணங்களில் உத்தமமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

80. Let my heart be thorough in thy statutes, that I may not be ashamed.

81. உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு என் ஆத்துமா தவிக்கிறது; உம்முடைய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

81. KAPH. My soul, hath languished for thy salvation, For thy word, have I hoped.

82. எப்பொழுது என்னைத் தேற்றுவீர் என்று, உம்முடைய வாக்கின்மேல் நோக்கமாய் என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது.

82. Mine eyes have failed for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83. புகையிலுள்ள துருத்தியைப் போலானேன்; உமது பிரமாணங்களையோ மறவேன்.

83. Though I have been like a wine-skin in the smoke, thy statutes, have I not forgotten.

84. உமது அடியேனுடைய நாட்கள் எம்மாத்திரம்? என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு நீர் எப்பொழுது நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு செய்வீர்?

84. How few are the days of thy servant! When wilt thou execute sentence on my persecutors?

85. உம்முடைய வேதத்துக்கு விரோதமாய் அகங்காரிகள் எனக்குக் குழிகளை வெட்டினார்கள்.

85. Insolent men digged for me pits, men who are not according to thy law.

86. உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையாயிருக்கிறது; அநியாயமாய் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; நீர் எனக்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணும்.

86. All thy commandments, are faithful, With falsehood, have they persecuted me, O help me!

87. அவர்கள் என்னைப் பூமியிலிராமல் நீக்கிவிடச் சற்றே தப்பிற்று; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை விட்டுவிடவில்லை.

87. A little more, and they had consumed me in the earth, but, I, forsake not thy precepts.

88. உமது கிருபையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய வாக்கின் சாட்சியைக் காத்து நடப்பேன்.

88. According to thy lovingkindness, give thou me life, so will I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.

89. கர்த்தாவே, உமது வசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் வானங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.

89. LAMED. Age-abidingly, O Yahweh, hath thy word been set up in the heavens.

90. உம்முடைய உண்மை தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்; பூமியை உறுதிப்படுத்தினீர், அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.

90. To generation after generation, is thy faithfulness, Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

91. உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நிறைவேற்றும்படி அவைகள் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நிற்கிறது; சமஸ்தமும் உம்மைச் சேவிக்கும்.

91. By thy regulations, do they stand to-day, for, all, are thy servants.

92. உமது வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிராதிருந்தால், என் துக்கத்திலே அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன்.

92. Had not thy law been my dear delight, then, had I perished in mine affliction.

93. நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர்.

93. Unto times age-abiding, will I not forget thy precepts, For, by them, hast thou given me life.

94. நான் உம்முடையவன், என்னை இரட்சியும்; உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறேன்.

94. Thine, am I, oh save me! For, thy precepts, have I sought.

95. துன்மார்க்கர் என்னை அழிக்கக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.

95. For me, have the lawless waited, to destroy me, Thy testimonies, will I diligently consider.

96. சகல சம்பூரணத்திற்கும் எல்லையைக் கண்டேன்; உம்முடைய கற்பனையோ மகா விஸ்தாரம்.

96. To all perfection, have I seen an end, Broad is thy commandment, exceedingly.

97. உமது வேதத்தில் நான் எவ்வளவு பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன்! நாள் முழுவதும் அது என் தியானம்.

97. MEM. Oh how I love thy law! All the day, is it my meditation.

98. நீர் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கொண்டு என்னை என் சத்துருக்களிலும் அதிக ஞானமுள்ளவனாக்குகிறீர்; அவைகள் என்றைக்கும் என்னுடனே இருக்கிறது.

98. Beyond mine enemies, will thy commandment make me wise, for, age-abidingly, shall it be mine.

99. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் என் தியானமாயிருக்கிறபடியால், எனக்குப் போதித்தவர்களெல்லாரிலும் அறிவுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன்.

99. Beyond all my teachers, have I shown discretion, for, thy testimonies, are my meditation.

100. உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நான் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபடியால், முதியோர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஞானமுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன்.

100. Beyond the elders, will I show understanding, for, thy precepts, have I observed.

101. உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நான் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கு, சகல பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்கும் என் கால்களை விலக்குகிறேன்.

101. From every way of wickedness, have I withheld my feet, that I might keep thy word.

102. நீர் எனக்குப் போதித்திருக்கிறபடியால், நான் உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை விட்டு விலகேன்.

102. From thy regulations, have I not turned aside, for, thou, hast directed me.

103. உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் என் நாவுக்கு எவ்வளவு இனிமையானவைகள்; என் வாய்க்கு அவைகள் தேனிலும் மதுரமாயிருக்கும்.

103. How smooth to my palate is thy speech, More than honey, to my mouth.

104. உமது கட்டளைகளால் உணர்வடைந்தேன், ஆதலால் எல்லாப் பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்.

104. Out of thy precepts, will I get understanding, For this cause, do I hate every false way.

105. உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

105. NUN. A lamp to my feet, is thy word, and a light to my path.

106. உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயங்களைக் காத்து நடப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன்; அதை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

106. I sware, and have fulfilled, To keep thy righteous regulations.

107. நான் மிகவும் உபத்திரவப்படுகிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

107. I have been afflicted exceedingly, O Yahweh, give me life according to thy word.

108. கர்த்தாவே, என் வாயின் உற்சாகபலிகளை நீர் அங்கீகரித்து, உமது நியாயங்களை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும்.

108. The freewill offerings of my mouth, accept, I pray thee, O Yahweh, And, thy regulations, teach thou me.

109. என் பிராணன் எப்பொழுதும் என் கையில் இருக்கிறது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மறவேன்.

109. My life, is in my hand continually, Yet, thy law, have I not forgotten.

110. துன்மார்க்கர் எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை விட்டு வழிதவறேன்.

110. The lawless have set a snare for me, Yet, from thy precepts, have I not strayed.

111. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நித்திய சுதந்தரமாக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், அவைகளே என் இருதயத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி.

111. As an inheritance have I taken thy testimonies unto times age-abiding, for, the joy of my heart, they are.

112. முடிவுபரியந்தம் இடைவிடாமல் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்படி செய்ய என் இருதயத்தைச் சாய்த்தேன்.

112. I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Age-abidingly, to the end.

113. வீண் சிந்தனைகளை நான் வெறுத்து, உமது வேதத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.

113. SAMECH. Half-hearted ones, do I hate, but, thy law, do I love.

114. என் மறைவிடமும் என் கேடகமும் நீரே; உம்முடைய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

114. My hiding-place and my buckler, thou art, For thy word, have I waited.

115. பொல்லாதவர்களே, என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்; என் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

115. Depart from me, ye evil-doers, that I may observe the commandments of my God.

116. நான் பிழைத்திருப்பதற்கு உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; என் நம்பிக்கை விருதாவாய்ப்போக என்னை வெட்கத்திற்கு உட்படுத்தாதேயும்.

116. Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and do not shame me out of my hope!

117. என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு, எக்காலமும் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்பேரில் நோக்கமாயிருப்பேன்.

117. Sustain me, that I may be saved, and may find dear delight in thy statutes continually.

118. உமது பிரமாணங்களைவிட்டு வழிவிலகுகிற யாவரையும் மிதித்துப் போடுகிறீர்; அவர்களுடைய உபாயம் வெறும் பொய்யே.

118. Thou hast made light of all who stray from thy statutes, for their fraud is, falsehood.

119. பூமியிலுள்ள துன்மார்க்கர் யாவரையும் களிம்பைப்போல அகற்றிவிடுகிறீர்; ஆகையால் உமது சாட்சிகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.

119. Dross, have I accounted all the lawless of the earth, therefore do I love thy testimonies.

120. உமக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தால் என் உடம்பு சிலிர்க்கிறது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்.

120. My flesh, bristled up from dread of thee, and, of thy regulations, stand I in fear.

121. நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடாதேயும்.

121. AYIN. I have done justice and righteousness, Do not leave me to mine oppressors.

122. உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மையாகத் துணைநில்லும்; அகங்காரிகள் என்னையொடுக்கவொட்டாதேயும்.

122. Be thou surety for thy servant for good, Let not insolent men oppress me.

123. உமது இரட்சிப்புக்கும் உமது நீதியின் வார்த்தைக்கும் காத்திருக்கிறதினால் என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது.

123. Mine eyes, have become dim for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.

124. உமது அடியேனை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நடத்தி, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

124. Deal with thy servant according to thy lovingkindness, and, thy statutes, teach thou me.

125. நான் உமது அடியேன்; உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நான் அறியும்படி என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.

125. Thy servant, I am give me understanding, so shall I get to know thy testimonies.

126. நீதியைச்செய்யக் கர்த்தருக்கு வேளைவந்தது; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நியாயப்பிராணத்தை மீறினார்கள்.

126. It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!

127. ஆதலால் நான் பொன்னிலும் பசும்பொன்னிலும் அதிகமாய் உமது கற்பனைகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.

127. For this cause, do I love thy commandments, More than gold, yea than fine gold!

128. எல்லாவற்றைப்பற்றியும் நீர் அருளின எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளும் செம்மையென்று எண்ணி, சகல பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்.

128. For this cause, all thy precepts concerning all things, I deem right, Every way of falsehood, I hate.

129. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; ஆகையால் என் ஆத்துமா அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்.

129. PE. Wonderful are thy testimonies, For this cause, hath my soul observed them.

130. உம்முடைய வசனத்தின் பிரசித்தம் வெளிச்சம் தந்து, பேதைகளை உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக்கும்.

130. The opening of thy words, sheddeth light, Giving understanding to the simple.

131. உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் வாஞ்சிக்கிறபடியால், என் வாயை ஆவென்று திறந்து அவைகளுக்கு ஏங்குகிறேன்.

131. My mouth, have I opened wide, and panted, because, for thy commandments, have I longed.

132. உம்முடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் நியாயத்தின்படியே என்னை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எனக்கு இரங்கும்.

132. Turn thyself unto me, and show me favour, As is befitting, to the lovers of thy Name.

133. உம்முடைய வார்த்தையிலே என் காலடிகளை நிலைப்படுத்தி, ஒரு அநியாயமும் என்னை ஆளவொட்டாதேயும்.

133. My steps, direct thou by thy word, and let no iniquity, have dominion over me.

134. மனுஷர் செய்யும் இடுக்கத்துக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

134. Set me free from the oppression of man, so will I keep thy precepts.

135. உமது அடியேன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும்.

135. Thy face, light thou up on thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.

136. உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மனுஷர் காத்துநடவாதபடியால், என் கண்களிலிருந்து நீர்த்தாரைகள் ஓடுகிறது.

136. Streams of water, have run down mine eyes, because men have not kept thy law.

137. கர்த்தாவே, நீர் நீதிபரர், உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் செம்மையானவைகள்.

137. ZADHE. Righteous art thou, O Yahweh, and, equitable, are thy regulations.

138. நீர் கட்டளையிட்ட சாட்சிகள் நீதியும், மகா உண்மையுமானவைகள்.

138. Thou hast righteously commanded thy testimonies, yea in great faithfulness.

139. என் சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய வசனங்களை மறந்தபடியால், என் பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னைப் பட்சிக்கிறது.

139. My zeal, hath put an end to me, for mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.

140. உமது வார்த்தை மிகவும் புடமிடப்பட்டது, உமது அடியேன் அதில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன்.

140. Refined is thy word, to the uttermost, and, thy servant loveth it.

141. நான் சிறியவனும் அசட்டைபண்ணப்பட்டவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; ஆனாலும் உமது கட்டளைகளை மறவேன்.

141. Small, am I, and despised, Thy precepts, have I not forgotten.

142. உம்முடைய நீதி நித்திய நீதி, உம்முடைய வேதம் சத்தியம்.

142. Thy righteousness, is righteous to times age-abiding, and, thy law, is truth.

143. இக்கட்டும் நெருக்கமும் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகள் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி.

143. Straitness and distress, have befallen me, Thy commandments, are my dear delights.

144. உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளின் நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும், அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்திருப்பேன்.

144. Righteous are thy testimonies, unto times age-abiding, Give me understanding, that I may live.

145. முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கூப்பிட்டேன், கர்த்தாவே, என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும்; உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

145. KOPH. I have cried out with all my heart, answer me, O Yahweh; Thy statutes, will I observe.

146. உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என்னை இரட்சியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

146. I have cried out unto thee, oh save me, That I may keep thy testimonies.

147. அதிகாலையில் நான் எழுந்து சத்தமிட்டேன்; உம்முடைய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

147. I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.

148. உமது வசனத்தைத் தியானிக்கும்படி, குறித்த ஜாமங்களுக்கு முன்னே என் கண்கள் விழித்துக்கொள்ளும்.

148. Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, To meditate in thy word.

149. உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

149. My voice, O hear, according to thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh! according to thy wont, give me life.

150. தீவினையைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள் சமீபிக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய வேதத்துக்குத் தூரமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

150. They have drawn near, who pursue villainy, From thy law, have they gone far away.

151. கர்த்தாவே, நீர் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் உண்மை.

151. Near art thou, O Yahweh, and, all thy commandments, are truth.

152. நீர் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்க ஸ்தாபித்தீர் என்பதை, அவைகளால் நான் நெடுநாளாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.

152. Long, have I known, from thy testimonies, That, to times age-abiding, thou didst establish them.

153. என் உபத்திரவத்தைப் பார்த்து, என்னை விடுவியும்; உமது வேதத்தை மறவேன்.

153. RESH. Behold mine affliction, and rescue me, For, thy law, have I not forgotten.

154. எனக்காக நீர் வழக்காடி என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும், உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

154. Plead my cause, and redeem me, By thy word, give me life

155. இரட்சிப்பு துன்மார்க்கருக்குத் தூரமாயிருக்கிறது, அவர்கள் உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தேடார்கள்.

155. Far from the lawless, is salvation, For, thy statutes, have they not sought.

156. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்கள் மிகுதியாயிருக்கிறது; உமது நியாயங்களின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

156. Thy compassions, are great, O Yahweh, According to thy regulations, give me life.

157. என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களும் என்னை விரோதிக்கிறவர்களும் அநேகர்; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை விட்டுவிலகேன்.

157. Many, are my persecutors and mine adversaries, From thy testimonies, have I not swerved.

158. உமது வசனத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளாத துரோகிகளை நான் கண்டபோது, எனக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருந்தது.

158. I have seen traitors, and felt loathing, Because, thy word, they kept not.

159. இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நேசிக்கிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபையின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்.

159. See thou that, thy precepts, I have loved, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness, give me life.

160. உம்முடைய வசனம் சமூலமும் சத்தியம், உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயமெல்லாம் நித்தியம்.

160. The sum of thy word, is truth, and, age-abiding, is every one of thy righteous regulations.

161. பிரபுக்கள் காரணமில்லாமல் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினார்கள், ஆனாலும் என் இருதயம் உமது வசனத்திற்கே பயப்படுகிறது.

161. SHIN. Rulers, have persecuted me, without cause, But, of thy word, hath my heart stood in awe.

162. மிகுந்த கொள்ளையுடைமையைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவன் மகிழுகிறதுபோல, நான் உமது வார்த்தையின் பேரில் மகிழுகிறேன்.

162. Joyful am I over thy word, Like the finder of spoil in abundance.

163. பொய்யைப் பகைத்து அருவருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதத்தையோ நேசிக்கிறேன்.

163. Falsehood, I hate and abhor, Thy law, do I love.

164. உமது நீதிநியாயங்களினிமித்தம், ஒருநாளில் ஏழுதரம் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.

164. Seven times in the day, have I praised thee, For thy righteous regulations.

165. உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சமாதானமுண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை.

165. Blessing in abundance, have the lovers of thy law, and nothing to make them stumble.

166. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு நான் காத்திருந்து, உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிறேன்.

166. I have looked for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy commandments, have I done.

167. என் ஆத்துமா உமது சாட்சிகளைக் காக்கும்; அவைகளை நான் மிகவும் நேசிக்கிறேன்.

167. My soul hath kept thy testimonies, yea I have loved them greatly.

168. உமது கட்டளைகளையும் உமது சாட்சிகளையும் காத்து நடக்கிறேன்; என் வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது.

168. I have kept thy precepts, and thy testimonies, For, all my ways, are before thee.

169. கர்த்தாவே, என் கூப்பிடுதல் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.

169. TAU Let my shouting come near before thee, O Yahweh, According to thy word, give me understanding.

170. என் விண்ணப்பம் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை விடுவித்தருளும்.

170. Let my supplication come in before thee, According to thy word, deliver me.

171. உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நீர் எனக்குப் போதிக்கும்போது, என் உதடுகள் உமது துதியைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்தும்.

171. My lips, shall pour out, praise, When thou shalt teach me thy statutes.

172. உமது கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் நீதியுள்ளவைகள்; ஆதலால், என் நாவு உம்முடைய வசனத்தை விவரித்துச் சொல்லும்.

172. My tongue, shall respond, with thy word, For, all thy commandments, are righteous.

173. நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டபடியால், உமது கரம் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருப்பதாக.

173. Be thy hand ready to help me, For, thy statutes, have I chosen.

174. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின்மேல் ஆவலாயிருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி.

174. I have longed for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy law, is my dear delight.

175. என் ஆத்துமா பிழைத்திருந்து உம்மைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் எனக்கு உதவியாயிருப்பதாக.

175. Let my soul live, that it may praise thee, So shall thy regulation help me.

176. காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைப்போல வழிதப்பிப்போனேன்; உமது அடியேனைத் தேடுவீராக; உமது கற்பனைகளை நான் மறவேன்.

176. I have strayed like a wandering sheep, O seek thy servant, For, thy commandments, have I not forgotten.
