1. கர்த்தர் என் சத்தத்தையும் என் விண்ணப்பத்தையும் கேட்டதினால், அவரில் அன்புகூருகிறேன்.

1. I love the LORD, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2. அவர் தமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்தபடியால், நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமளவும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

2. Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.

3. The sorrows of death encompassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.

4. அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொண்டு: கர்த்தாவே, என் ஆத்துமாவை விடுவியும் என்று கெஞ்சினேன்.

4. Then I called upon the name of the LORD: 'O LORD, I beseech Thee, deliver my soul!'

5. கர்த்தர் கிருபையும் நீதியுமுள்ளவர், நம்முடைய தேவன் மனவுருக்கமானவர்.

5. Gracious is the LORD and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6. கர்த்தர் கபடற்றவர்களைக் காக்கிறார்; நான் மெலிந்துபோனேன், அவர் என்னை இரட்சித்தார்.

6. The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He helped me.

7. என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தர் உனக்கு நன்மை செய்தபடியால், நீ உன் இளைப்பாறுதலுக்குத் திரும்பு.

7. Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8. For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9. நான் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக ஜீவனுள்ளோர் தேசத்திலே நடப்பேன்.

9. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10. விசுவாசித்தேன், ஆகையால் பேசுகிறேன்; நான் மிகுதியும் வருத்தப்பட்டேன்.

10. I believed, therefore have I spoken: 'I was greatly afflicted.'

12. கர்த்தர் எனக்குச் செய்த எல்லா உபகாரங்களுக்காகவும், அவருக்கு என்னத்தைச் செலுத்துவேன்.

12. What shall I render unto the LORD for all His benefits toward me?

13. இரட்சிப்பின் பாத்திரத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

13. I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the LORD.

14. நான் கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும் செலுத்துவேன்.

14. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now, in the presence of all His people.

15. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களின் மரணம் அவர் பார்வைக்கு அருமையானது.

15. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.

16. கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமது அடியேன்; நான் உமது அடியாளின் புத்திரனும், உமது ஊழியக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; என் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்துவிட்டீர்.

16. O LORD, truly I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant and the son of Thine handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.

17. நான் உமக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலியைச் செலுத்தி, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

17. I will offer to Thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18. நான் கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும்,

18. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all His people,

19. கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பிராகாரங்களிலும், எருசலேமே உன் நடுவிலும் நிறைவேற்றுவேன். அல்லேலூயா.

19. in the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD!
