1. என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் மிகவும் பெரியவராயிருக்கிறீர்; மகிமையையும் மகத்துவத்தையும் அணிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறீர்.

1. My soule blesse thou God: O God my Lord thou art become exceeding great, thou hast put on glory and maiestie.

2. ஒளியை வஸ்திரமாகத் தரித்து, வானங்களைத் திரையைப்போல் விரித்திருக்கிறீர்.
1 தீமோத்தேயு 6:16

2. Who is decked with light as it were with a garment: spreadyng out the heauens like a curtayne.

3. தமது மேல்வீடுகளைத் தண்ணீர்களால் மச்சுப்பாவி, மேகங்களைத் தமது இரதமாக்கி, காற்றினுடைய செட்டைகளின்மேல் செல்லுகிறார்.

3. Who seeleth his vpper chaumbers with waters: and maketh the cloudes his charriot, and walketh vpon the wynges of the wynde.

4. தம்முடைய தூதர்களைக் காற்றுகளாகவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை அக்கினி ஜூவாலைகளாகவும் செய்கிறார்.

4. He maketh his angels spirites: and his ministers a flaming fire.

5. பூமி ஒருபோதும் நிலைபேராதபடி அதின் ஆதாரங்கள்மேல் அதை ஸ்தாபித்தார்.

5. He hath layde the earth sure vpon her foundations: that it can neuer moue at any tyme.

6. அதை வஸ்திரத்தினால் மூடுவதுபோல ஆழத்தினால் மூடினீர்; பர்வதங்களின்மேல் தண்ணீர்கள் நின்றது.

6. Thou coueredst it with the deepe, lyke as with a garment: the waters stande vpon the hilles.

7. அவைகள் உமது கண்டிதத்தால் விலகியோடி, உமது குமுறலின் சத்தத்தால் விரைந்துபோயிற்று.

7. At thy rebuke they flee: at the noyse of thy thunder they bluster downe apace.

8. அவைகள் மலைகளில் ஏறி, பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் இறங்கி, நீர் அவைகளுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தின இடத்தில் சென்றது.

8. The hilles mount aloft: and the valleys settle downe beneath vnto the place where thou hast layde a foundation for them.

9. அவைகள் திரும்பவும் வந்து பூமியை மூடிக்கொள்ளாதபடி கடவாதிருக்கும் எல்லையை அவைகளுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தினீர்.

9. Thou hast set them their boundes which they shall not passe: neither shall they returne agayne to couer the earth.

10. அவர் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் நீரூற்றுகளை வரவிடுகிறார்; அவைகள் மலைகள் நடுவே ஓடுகிறது.

10. Who also causeth the springes which runne betweene the hilles: to flowe into the riuers.

11. அவைகள் வெளியின் ஜீவன்களுக்கெல்லாம் தண்ணீர் கொடுக்கும்; அங்கே காட்டுக்கழுதைகள் தங்கள் தாகத்தைத் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்.

11. All beastes of the fielde drinke therof: and the wylde asses quench their thirst.

12. அவைகளின் ஓரமாய் ஆகாயத்துப்பறவைகள் சஞ்சரித்து, கிளைகள் மேலிருந்து பாடும்.

12. The foules of the ayre haue their habitation nigh vnto them: singing out of the midst of the bowes [of trees.]

13. தம்முடைய மேல்வீடுகளிலிருந்து பர்வதங்களுக்குத் தண்ணீர் இறைக்கிறார்; உமது கிரியைகளின் பலனாலே பூமி திருப்தியாயிருக்கிறது.

13. He watereth the hilles from aboue: the earth is replenished with the fruite of thy workes.

14. பூமியிலிருந்து ஆகாரம் உண்டாகும்படி, அவர் மிருகங்களுக்குப் புல்லையும், மனுஷருக்கு உபயோகமான பயிர்வகைகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிறார்.

14. He causeth grasse to growe for cattell: and hearbes for the vse of man.

15. மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும் திராட்சரசத்தையும், அவனுக்கு முகக்களையை உண்டுபண்ணும் எண்ணெயையும், மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தை ஆதரிக்கும் ஆகாரத்தையும் விளைவிக்கிறார்.

15. That he may bryng foorth foode out of the earth: both wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oyle to make hym haue a chearefull countenaunce, & also bread to strengthen mans heart.

16. கர்த்தருடைய விருட்சங்களும், அவர் நாட்டின லீபனோனின் கேதுருக்களும் சாரத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கும்.

16. The trees of God be satisfied: euen the Cedars of Libanus which he hath planted.

17. அங்கே குருவிகள் கூடுகட்டும்; தேவதாருவிருட்சங்கள் கொக்குகளின் குடியிருப்பு.

17. Wherin the birdes make their nestes: in the fyrre trees the storke buyldeth.

18. உயர்ந்த பர்வதங்கள் வரையாடுகளுக்கும், கன்மலைகள் குழிமுசல்களுக்கும் அடைக்கலம்.

18. The high hilles are a refuge for goates: and so are the stonie rockes for conies.

19. சந்திரனைக் காலக்குறிப்புகளுக்காகப் படைத்தார்; சூரியன் தன் அஸ்தமனத்தை அறியும்.

19. He hath made the moone for certayne seasons: and the sunne knoweth his goyng downe.

20. நீர் இருளைக் கட்டளையிடுகிறீர், இராக்காலமாகும்; அதிலே சகல காட்டு ஜீவன்களும் நடமாடும்.

20. Thou makest darknes and it is night: wherein all the beastes of the forrest do go abrode.

21. பாலசிங்கங்கள் இரைக்காக கெர்ச்சித்து, தேவனால் தங்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் கிடைக்கும்படித்தேடும்.

21. The Lions do roare after a pray: and in seeking their meate of God.

22. சூரியன் உதிக்கையில் அவைகள் ஒதுங்கி, தங்கள் தாபரங்களில் படுத்துக்கொள்ளும்.

22. When the sunne ariseth, they recoyle backe: and lay them downe to rest in their dennes.

23. அப்பொழுது மனுஷன் சாயங்காலமட்டும் தன் வேலைக்கும், தன் பண்ணைக்கும் புறப்படுகிறான்.

23. Man goeth foorth to his worke: and to do his seruice vntyll the euening.

24. கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிரியைகள் எவ்வளவு திரளாயிருக்கிறது! அவைகளையெல்லாம் ஞானமாய்ப் படைத்தீர்; பூமி உம்முடைய பொருள்களினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.

24. O God howe manyfolde are thy workes? thou hast made them al in wisdome, the earth is ful of thy ryches.

25. பெரிதும் விஸ்தாரமுமான இந்தச் சமுத்திரமும் அப்படியே நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அதிலே சஞ்சரிக்கும் சிறியவைகளும் பெரியவைகளுமான எண்ணிறந்த ஜீவன்கள் உண்டு.

25. So is the sea it selfe large and wyde in compasse: wherein are thinges creeping innumerable, both small and great beastes.

26. அதிலே கப்பல்கள் ஓடும்; அதிலே விளையாடும்படி நீர் உண்டாக்கின திமிங்கிலங்களும் உண்டு.

26. There go the shippes, and there is that Leuiathan: whom thou hast made to take his pastime therin.

27. ஏற்றவேளையில் ஆகாரத்தைத் தருவீர் என்று அவைகளெல்லாம் உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கும்.

27. These wayte all vpon thee: that thou mayest geue them meate in due season.

28. நீர்கொடுக்க, அவைகள் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்; நீர் உம்முடைய கையைத் திறக்க, அவைகள் நன்மையால் திருப்தியாகும்.

28. When thou geuest it them, they gather it: and when thou openest thyne hand, they are filled with that which is good.

29. நீர் உமது முகத்தை மறைக்க, திகைக்கும்; நீர் அவைகளின் சுவாசத்தை வாங்கிக்கொள்ள, அவைகள் மாண்டு, தங்கள் மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்பும்.

29. When thou hydest thy face, they are troubled: when thou takest away their spirite, they dye, and are turned agayne to their dust.

30. நீர் உம்முடைய ஆவியை அனுப்பும்போது, அவைகள் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்படும்; நீர் பூமியின் ரூபத்தையும் புதிதாக்குகிறீர்.

30. When thou sendest out thy spirite, they be recreated: and thou reuiuest the face of the earth.

31. கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை என்றென்றைக்கும் விளங்கும்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய கிரியைகளிலே மகிழுவார்.

31. The glorious maiestie of God shal endure for euer: God wyll reioyce in his workes.

32. அவர் பூமியை நோக்கிப்பார்க்க, அது அதிரும்; அவர் பர்வதங்களைத் தொட, அவைகள் புகையும்.

32. He beholdeth the earth, & it trembleth: he toucheth the hilles, and they smoke.

33. நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமட்டும் என் கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; நான் உள்ளளவும் என் தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்.

33. I wyll syng vnto God as long as I liue: I will sing psalmes vnto my Lord so long as I shall be.

34. நான் அவரைத் தியானிக்கும் தியானம் இனிதாயிருக்கும்; நான் கர்த்தருக்குள் மகிழுவேன்.

34. My meditations of hym shalbe very pleasaunt: for all my ioy shalbe in God.

35. பாவிகள் பூமியிலிருந்து நிர்மூலமாகி, துன்மார்க்கர் இனி இராமற்போவார்கள். என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி, அல்லேலூயா.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 19:1-6

35. As for sinners they shalbe consumed out of the earth: and the vngodly shall come to an ende, blesse thou God O my soule, [and] prayse you the Lorde.
