1. இவையெல்லாம் முடிந்தபின்பு, வந்திருந்த இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், யூதா பென்யமீனெங்கும் எப்பிராயீமிலும் மனாசேயிலுங்கூட உண்டான சிலைகளை உடைத்து, விக்கிரகத்தோப்புகளை வெட்டி, மேடைகளையும் பீடங்களையும் இடித்து, அவைகளையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டார்கள்; பின்பு இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரும் அவரவர் தங்கள் ஊர்களிலிருக்கிற தங்கள் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்.

1. 2. எசேக்கியா ஆசாரியர் லேவியருடைய வகுப்புகளை அவர்கள் வரிசைகளின்படியேயும், அவரவரை அவர்கள் ஊழியத்தின்படியேயும் திட்டப்படுத்தி, ஆசாரியரையும் லேவியரையும், சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சமாதானபலிகளையும் செலுத்தவும், கர்த்தருடைய பாளயத்தின் வாசல்களில் ஊழியஞ்செய்து துதித்து ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கவும் ஒழுங்குப்படுத்தினான்.

6. யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களில் குடியிருந்த இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும், யூதா புத்திரரும், மாடுகளிலும் ஆடுகளிலும் தசமபாகத்தையும், தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டவைகளில் தசமபாகத்தையும் கொண்டுவந்து குவியல் குவியலாக வைத்தார்கள்.

7. மூன்றாம் மாதத்தில் குவியல் செய்யத்தொடங்கி ஏழாம் மாதத்தில் முடித்தார்கள்.

7. In the thridde monethe thei bigunnen to leie the foundementis of the heepis, and in the seuenthe monethe thei filliden tho heepis.

8. எசேக்கியாவும் பிரபுக்களும் வந்து, அந்தக் குவியல்களைக் காணும்போது, கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்தி, அவருடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலைப் புகழ்ந்தார்கள்.

8. And whanne Ezechie and hise princes hadden entrid, thei siyen the heepis, and blessiden the Lord, and the puple of Israel.

9. அந்தக் குவியல்களைக் குறித்து எசேக்கியா ஆசாரியரையும் லேவியரையும் விசாரித்தபோது,

9. And Ezechie axide the preestis and dekenes, whi the heepis laien so.

10. சாதோக்கின் சந்ததியானாகிய அசரியா என்னும் பிரதான ஆசாரியன் அவனை நோக்கி: இந்தக் காணிக்கையைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரத் தொடங்கினதுமுதல் நாங்கள் சாப்பிட்டுத் திருப்தியடைந்தோம்; இன்னும் மிச்சமும் இருக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை ஆசீர்வதித்ததினால் இந்தத் திரட்சியான அம்பாரம் மீந்திருக்கிறது என்றான்.

10. Azarie, the firste preest of the generacioun of Sadoch, answeride to hym, and seide, Sithen the firste fruytis bigunnen to be offrid in the hows of the Lord, we han ete and ben fillid, and ful many thingis ben left; for the Lord hath blessid his puple; sotheli this plentee, which thou seest, is of the relifs.

11. அப்பொழுது எசேக்கியா கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் பண்டகசாலைகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தச் சொன்னான்.

11. Therfor Ezechie comaundide, that thei schulden make redi bernes in the hows of the Lord; and whanne thei hadden do this thing,

12. அவர்கள் அவைகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினபின்பு, அவைகளிலே காணிக்கைகளையும், தசம பாகத்தையும், பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும் உண்மையாய் எடுத்துவைத்தார்கள்; அவைகளின்மேல் லேவியனாகிய கொனனியா தலைவனும், அவன் தம்பியாகிய சிமேயி இரண்டாவதுமாயிருந்தான்.

12. thei brouyten in feithfuly bothe the firste fruytis, and tithis, and what euere thingis thei hadden avowid. Forsothe Chonenye, the dekene, was the souereyn of tho; and Semei his brother was the secounde;

13. ராஜாவாகிய எசேக்கியாவும், தேவனுடைய ஆலய விசாரணைக்காரனாகிய அசரியாவும் பண்ணின கட்டளையின்படியே, யெகியேலும், அசசியாவும், நாகாத்தும், ஆசகேலும், யெரிமோத்தும், யோசபாத்தும், ஏலியேலும், இஸ்மகியாவும், மாகாத்தும், பெனாயாவும், கொனனியாவின் கீழும் அவன் தம்பியாகிய சிமேயியின் கீழும் விசாரிப்புக்காரராயிருந்தார்கள்.

13. aftir whom Jehiel, and Azarie, and Nabath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, `and Jozabad, and Helyel, and Jesmahie, and Maath, and Banaie, weren souereyns vndur the hondis of Chonenye and Semei, his brother, bi the comaundement of `Ezechie the kyng, and of Azarie, the bischop of the hows of the Lord, to whiche alle thingis perteyneden.

14. கிழக்குவாசலைக் காக்கிற இம்னாவின் குமாரனாகிய கோரே என்னும் லேவியன், கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தப்பட்ட காணிக்கைகளையும் மகா பரிசுத்தமானவைகளையும் பங்கிடும்படிக்கு, தேவனுக்குச் செலுத்தும் உற்சாகக் காணிக்கைகள்மேல் அதிகாரியாயிருந்தான்.

14. But Chore, the sone of Jemnya, dekene and portere of the eest yate, was souereyn of tho thingis that weren offrid bi fre wille to the Lord, and of the firste fruytis, and of thingis halewid in to hooli thingis of the noumbre of hooli thingis;

15. அவனுடைய கைக்கு உதவியாக ஆசாரியரின் பட்டணங்களில் வகுப்புகளின்படியிருக்கிற தங்கள் சகோதரரிலே பெரியவனுக்கும் சிறியவனுக்கும் சரிசமானமாய்க் கொடுக்கும்படிக்கு, உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக எண்ணப்பட்ட ஏதேனும், மின்யமீனும், யெசுவாவும், செமாயாவும், அமரியாவும், செக்கனியாவும் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டார்கள்.

15. and vndur his cure weren Eden, and Beniamyn, Jesue, and Semeye, and Amarie, and Sechenye, in the citees of preestis, that thei schulden departe feithfuli to her britheren the partis, to the lesse and the grettere,

17. தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் வம்ச அட்டவணைகளில் எழுதப்பட்ட தங்கள் வகுப்புகளின்படியே தங்கள் முறைகளிலிருக்கிற இருபது வயதுமுதல், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட ஆசாரியருக்கும், லேவியருக்கும்,

17. To preestis bi meynees, and to dekenes fro `the twentithe yeer and aboue bi her ordris and cumpenyes, and to alle the multitude,

18. அவர்களுடைய எல்லாக் கூட்டத்தின் அட்டவணையிலும் எழுதப்பட்ட அவர்களுடைய எல்லாக் குழந்தைகளுக்கும், மனைவிகளுக்கும், குமாரருக்கும், குமாரத்திகளுக்கும் பங்கு கொடுத்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தமானதை உண்மையின்படி பரிசுத்தமாய் விசாரித்தார்கள்.

18. bothe to the wyues and fre children of hem of euer either kynde, metis weren youun feithfuli of these thingis that weren halewid.

19. ஆசாரியரில் எல்லா ஆண்பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் லேவியருக்குள்ளே அட்டவணையில் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் படிகொடுக்க, ஆசாரியருடைய ஒவ்வொரு பட்டணத்துக்கடுத்த வெளிநிலங்களிலும் ஆரோன் புத்திரரில் பேர்பேராகக் குறிக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷர் இருந்தார்கள்.

19. But also men of the sones of Aaron weren ordeyned bi the feeldis and subarbis of alle citees, whyche men schulden dele partis to al the male kynde of preestis and dekenes.

20. இந்தப் பிரகாரமாக எசேக்கியா யூதாவெங்கும் நடப்பித்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக நன்மையும் செம்மையும் உண்மையுமானதைச் செய்தான்.

20. Therfor Ezechie dide alle thingis, whiche we seiden, in al Juda, and he wrouyte that, that was riytful and good and trewe bifor `his Lord God,

21. அவன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையிலும், தன் தேவனைத் தேடும்படிக்கு நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கும் கற்பனைக்கும் அடுத்த காரியத்திலும் என்ன செய்யத் தொடங்கினானோ, அதையெல்லாம் தன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் செய்து சித்திபெற்றான்.

21. in al the religioun of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, bi the lawe and cerymonyes; and he wolde seke his Lord God in al his herte, and he dide, and hadde prosperite.
