1. தங்கள் இலக்கத்தின்படி இருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு வம்சங்களின் தலைவரும், ஆயிரத்துக்குச் சேர்வைக்காரரும், நூற்றிற்குச் சேர்வைக்காரரும், இவர்களுடைய தலைவரும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார்கள்; இவர்கள் வருஷத்திலுண்டான மாதங்களிலெல்லாம் மாதத்திற்கு மாதம் ராஜாவைச் சேவிக்கிறதற்கு வகுக்கப்பட்ட வரிசைகளின்படியெல்லாம் மாறிமாறி வருவார்கள்; ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

1. The children of Israel, after the number of them, ye auncient heads and captaynes of thousandes and hundredes, and their officers that serued the king by dyuers courses, which came in and went out moneth by moneth, throughout all the monethes of the yere: And in euery course were twentie and foure thouthousand.

2. முதலாவது மாதத்துக்கு முதல் வகுப்பின்மேல் சப்தியேலின் குமாரன் யஷொபெயாம் இருந்தான்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

2. Ouer the first course for the first moneth, was Iasoboam the sonne of Zabdiel, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

3. அவன் பேரேசின் சந்ததியாரில் சகல சேனாபதிகளின் தலைவனாயிருந்து முதல் மாதம் விசாரித்தான்.

3. And the chiefest of all the captaynes of the hoast for the first moneth, was of the children of Pharez.

4. இரண்டாவது மாதத்தின் வகுப்பின்மேல் அகோகியனான தோதாயி இருந்தான்; அவன் வகுப்பிலே மிக்லோத் தளகர்த்தனாயிருந்தான்; அவன் வகுப்பிலே இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

4. Ouer the course of the second moneth, was Dodai an Ahohite, & in his course was Mikloth a ruler, [his helper:] and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

5. மூன்றாவது மாதத்தின் மூன்றாம் சேனாபதி யோய்தாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெனாயா என்னும் தலைமையான பிரதானி; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

5. The chiefe captayne of the third hoast for the third moneth, was Banaiahu the sonne of Iehoiada the hie priest, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

6. இந்தப் பெனாயா அந்த முப்பது பராக்கிரமசாலிகளில் ஒருவனும் அந்த முப்பது பேர்களின் தலைவனுமாயிருந்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பை அவன் குமாரனாகிய அமிசபாத் விசாரித்தான்.

6. This is that Banaiahu which was most mightie among thirtie, and aboue thirtie: And in his part was Amizabad his sonne.

7. நாலாவது மாதத்தின் நாலாம் சேனாபதி யோவாபின் சகோதரனாகிய ஆசகேலும், அவனுக்குப்பின்பு அவன் குமாரன் செப்தியாவுமே; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

7. The fourth captayne for the fourth moneth, was Asael the brother of Ioab, and Zabadaia his sonne after him, and in his course were twentie & foure thousand.

8. ஐந்தாவது மாதத்தின் ஐந்தாம் சேனாபதி இஸ்ராகியனான சம்கூத் என்பவன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

8. The fifth captayne for the fifth moneth, was Samhut the Iezrahite, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

9. ஆறாவது மாதத்தின் ஆறாம் சேனாபதி இக்கேசின் குமாரன் ஈரா என்னும் தெக்கோவியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

9. The sixt captayne for the sixt moneth, was Ira the sonne of Ickes a Therkuite, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

10. ஏழாவது மாதத்தின் ஏழாம் சேனாபதி எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரரில் ஒருவனாகிய ஏலேஸ் என்னும் பெலோனியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

10. The seuenth captayne for the seuenth moneth, was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

11. எட்டாவது மாதத்தின் எட்டாம் சேனாபதி சாரியரில் ஒருவனாகிய சிபெக்காயி என்னும் ஊஷாத்தியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

11. The eyght captayne for the eyght moneth, was Sibbechai an Husathite of ye kynrede of Zarhi, & in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

12. ஒன்பதாவது மாதத்தின் ஒன்பதாம் சேனாபதி பென்யமீனரில் அபியேசர் என்னும் ஆனதோத்தான்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

12. The ninth captayne for the ninth moneth, was Abiezer an Anathothite of the sonnes of Iemini, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

13. பத்தாவது மாதத்தின் பத்தாம் சேனாபதி சாரியரில் ஒருவனாகிய மக்ராயி என்னும் நெத்தோபாத்தியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

13. The tenth captayne for the tenth moneth, was Maharai the Netophatite of the Zarahites, & in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

14. பதினோராவது மாதத்தின் பதினோராம் சேனாபதி எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரரில் பெனாயா என்னும் பிரத்தோனியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

14. The eleuenth captayne for the eleuenth moneth, was Banaia the Pirathonite of the children of Ephraim, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

15. பன்னிரண்டாவது மாதத்தின் பன்னிரண்டாம் சேனாபதி ஒத்னியேல் சந்ததியான எல்தாயி என்னும் நெத்தோபாத்தியன்; அவன் வகுப்பில் இருபத்து நாலாயிரம்பேர் இருந்தார்கள்.

15. The twelfth captayne for the twelfth moneth, was Heldai the Netophatite of Othoniel, and in his course were twentie and foure thousand.

16. இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குத் தலைவர்கள்: ரூபனியருக்குத் தலைவன் சிக்ரியின் குமாரன் எலியேசர்; சிமியோனியருக்கு மாக்காவின் குமாரன் செப்பத்தியா.

16. And the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: Among the Rubenites, was Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: Among the Simeonites also, was Saphathiahu the sonne of Maacha.

17. லேவியருக்கு கேமுவேலின் குமாரன் அஷாபியா; ஆரோன் சந்ததிக்குச் சாதோக்.

17. Among the Leuites, Hasabia the sonne of Kemuel: Among the Aaronites, Zadok.

18. யூதாவுக்குத் தாவீதின் சகோதரரில் ஒருவனாகிய எலிகூ; இசக்காரருக்கு மிகாவேலின் குமாரன் ஒம்ரி.

18. Among them of Iuda, Elihu of the brethren of Dauid: Among them of Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael.

19. செபுலோனுக்கு ஒப்தியாவின் குமாரன் இஸ்மாயா: நப்தலிக்கு அஸ்ரியேலின் குமாரன் எரிமோத்.

19. Among them of Zabulon, Iesmaiahu the sonne of Obadiahu: Among the of Nephthali, Ierimoth ye sonne of Azriel.

20. எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரருக்கு அசசியாவின் குமாரன் ஓசெயா; மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திற்குப் பெதாயாவின் குமாரன் யோவேல்.

20. Among the children of Ephraim, Hosea the sonne of Azariahu: In the halfe tribe also of Manasse, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiahu.

21. கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திற்குச் சகரியாவின் குமாரன் இத்தோ; பென்யமீனுக்கு அப்னேரின் குமாரன் யாசியேல்.

21. Of the halfe tribe of Manasse in Gilead, Iiddo the sonne of Zachariahu: Among them of Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner.

22. தாணுக்கு எரோகாமின் குமாரன் அசாரியேல்; இவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குத் தலைவராயிருந்தார்கள்.

22. Among them of Dan, Azarel the sonne of Ieroham. These are the lordes of the tribes of Israel.

23. இஸ்ரவேலை வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்கள் அத்தனையாய்ப் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடியால், தாவீது இருபது வயதுமுதல் அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டவர்களின் இலக்கத்தைத் தொகையேற்றவில்லை.

23. But Dauid toke not the number of them vnder twentie yeres, because the Lorde saide he would encrease Israel lyke vnto the starres of the skye.

24. செருயாவின் குமாரன் யோவாப் எண்ணத்துவக்கியும் முடிக்காதே போனான்; அதற்காக இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் கடுங்கோபம் வந்தது; ஆதலால் அந்தத் தொகை தாவீது ராஜாவின் நாளாகமக் கணக்கிலே ஏறவில்லை.

24. And Ioab the sonne of Zaruia began to number: but he finished it not, because that there fell wrath for it against Israel, neither was the number put into the cronicles of king Dauid.

25. ராஜாவுடைய பொக்கிஷங்களின்மேல் ஆதியேலின் குமாரன் அஸ்மாவேத்தும், பட்டணங்களிலும் கிராமங்களிலும் துருக்கங்களிலுமுள்ள நிலத்தின் வருமான பண்டகசாலைகளின்மேல் உசியாவின் குமாரன் யோனத்தானும்,

25. Ouer the kinges treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: And ouer the treasures of the fieldes, in the cities, and villages, and castels, was Iehonathan the sonne of Uzziahu.

26. நிலத்தைப் பயிரிட வயல்வெளியின் வேலை செய்கிறவர்களின்மேல் கேலூப்பின் குமாரன் எஸ்ரியும்,

26. And ouer the workemen in the fieldes that tilled the grounde, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub.

27. திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களின்மேல் ராமாத்தியனான சீமேயும், திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களின் வரத்தாகிய திராட்சரசம் வைக்கும் இடங்களின்மேல் சிப்மியனாகிய சப்தியும்,

27. And the ouersight of the vineyardes, had Semei the Ramathite: Ouer the encrease also of the vineyardes, & ouer the winesellers, was Sabdi the Zaphonite.

28. பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலுள்ள ஒலிவமரங்களின்மேலும் முசுக்கட்டை விருட்சங்களின்மேலும் கெதேரியனான பால்கானானும், எண்ணெய் கிடங்குகளின்மேல் யோவாசும்,

28. And ouer the oliue trees and mulberie trees that were in the valleyes, was Baal Hanan the Gederite: And ouer the treasure of oyle, was Ioas.

29. சாரோனில் மேய்கிற மாடுகளின்மேல் சாரோனியனான சித்ராயும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலுள்ள மாடுகளின்மேல் அத்லாயின் குமாரன் சாப்பாத்தும்,

29. Ouer the oxen that fed in Saron, was Setrai the Saronite: And ouer the oxen that were in the valleyes, was Saphat the sonne of Adlai.

30. ஒட்டகங்களின்மேல் இஸ்மவேலியனாகிய ஓபிலும், கழுதைகளின்மேல் மெரோனோத்தியனாகிய எகெதியாவும்,

30. Ouer the cammels, Obil the Ismaelite: And ouer the asses, was Iehdeiahu the Meronothite.

31. ஆடுகளின்மேல் ஆகாரியனான யாசிசும் விசாரிப்புக்காரராயிருந்தார்கள்; இவர்களெல்லாரும் தாவீது ராஜாவின் பொருள்களுக்கு விசாரிப்புக்காரராயிருந்தார்கள்.

31. Ouer the sheepe was Iazez the Hagerite: All these were the rulers of the substaunce of king Dauid.

32. தாவீதின் சிறிய தகப்பனாகிய யோனத்தான் என்னும் புத்தியும் படிப்புமுள்ள மனுஷன் ஆலோசனைக்காரனாயிருந்தான்; அக்மோனியின் குமாரன் யெகியேல் ராஜாவின் குமாரரோடிருந்தான்.

32. And Iehonathan Dauids vncle, a man of counsell and of vnderstanding, was a scribe, and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni was with ye kinges sonnes [instructing them.]

33. அகித்தோப்பேல் ராஜாவுக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரனாயிருந்தான்; அர்கியனான ஊஷாயி ராஜாவின் தோழனாயிருந்தான்.

33. And Ahitophel was of the kinges counsell: And Husai the Arachite was the kinges companion.

34. பெனாயாவின் குமாரன் யோய்தாவும் அபியத்தாரும் அகித்தோப்பேலுக்கு உதவியாயிருந்தார்கள்; யோவாப் ராஜாவின் படைத்தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

34. And next to Ahitophel was Iehoiada the sonne of Banaiahu, and Abiathar: and the captayne of the kinges warre, was Ioab.
