1. மேலும் சுரமண்டலங்களாலும், தம்புருகளாலும் கைத்தாளங்களாலும், தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூன் என்பவர்களின் குமாரரில் சிலரை, தாவீதும் தேவாலயச் சேனைகளின் பிரபுக்களும் ஊழியத்திற்கென்று பிரித்துவைத்தார்கள்; தங்கள் ஊழியத்தின் கிரியைக்குக் குறித்துவைக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷர்களின் தொகையாவது:

1. And Dauid with the chefe captaynes sundered to the offices amonge ye childre of Assaph, Heman & Iedithun ye prophetes with harpes, psalteries & Cymbales, and they were nombred vnto the worke acordynge to their offyce.

2. ராஜாவுடைய கட்டளைப்பிரமாணமாய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற ஆசாப்பின் வசத்திலிருக்கிற, ஆசாப்பின் குமாரரில் சக்கூர், யோசேப்பு, நெதானியா, அஷாரேலா என்பவர்களும்,

2. Amonge the childre of Assaph was Sakur, Ioseph, Nethania, Asarela, childre of Assaph vnder Assaph which prophecyed besyde ye kynge.

3. கர்த்தரைப் போற்றித் துதித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய எதுத்தூனின் வசத்திலே சுரமண்டலங்களை வாசிக்க, எதுத்தூனின் குமாரராகிய கெதலியா, சேரீ, எஷாயா, அஷபியா, மத்தித்தியா என்னும் ஆறுபேரும்,

3. Of Iedithun: The children of Iedithun were, Gedalia, Zori, Iesaia, Hasabia, Mathithia (Simei) these sixe vnder their father Iedithun wt harpes, whose prophecienge was to geue thankes and to praise the LORDE.

4. கொம்பைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ண, தேவவிஷயத்தில் ராஜாவுக்கு ஞானதிருஷ்டியுள்ள புருஷனாகிய ஏமானின் குமாரரான புக்கியா, மத்தனியா, ஊசியேல், செபுவேல், எரிமோத், அனனியா, அனானி, எலியாத்தா, கிதல்தி, ரொமந்தியேசர், யோஸ்பெகாஷா, மலோத்தி, ஒத்திர், மகாசியோத் என்பவர்களுமே.

4. Of Heman: The children of Heman were Bukia, Mathania, Vsiel, Sebuel, Ierimoth, Hanania, Hanani, Eliatha, Gilthi, Romamthieser, Ia?baksa, Mallochi, Hothir and Mehesioth.

5. இவர்களெல்லாரும் ஏமானின் குமாரராயிருந்தார்கள்; தேவன் ஏமானுக்குப் பதினாலு குமாரரையும் மூன்று குமாரத்திகளையும் கொடுத்தார்.

5. All these were the children of Hema the kynges Seer in the wordes of God to lyfte vp the horne: for God gaue Heman fourtene sonnes & thre daughters.

6. இவர்கள் அனைவரும் ராஜாவுடைய கட்டளைப்பிரமாணமாய்க் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் தாளங்கள் தம்புருகள் சுரமண்டலங்களாகிய கீதவாத்தியம் வாசிக்க, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் ஊழியமாக அவரவர் தங்கள் தங்கள் தகப்பன்மாராகிய ஆசாப், எதுத்தூன், ஏமான் என்பவர்கள் வசத்தில் இருந்தார்கள்.

6. All these were vnder their fathers Assaph Iedithun and Heman, to synge in the house of the LORDE with Cymbales, Psalteries & harpes, acordynge to the office in the house of God besyde the kynge.

7. கர்த்தரைப் பாடும் பாட்டுகளைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, நிபுணரான தங்கள் சகோதரரோடுங்கூட அவர்கள் இலக்கத்திற்கு இருநூற்றெண்பத்தெட்டுப்பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

7. And their nombre with their brethren, which were taughte in the songe of the LORDE (euery one hauynge vnderstondinge) was two hundreth & eight and foure score.

8. அவர்களில் சிறியவனும் பெரியவனும், ஆசானும், மாணாக்கனும், சரிசமானமாய் முறைவரிசைக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்.

8. And they cast the lottes ouer their offyce, for the leest as for the greatest, for the master as for the scolar.

9. முதலாவது சீட்டு ஆசாப் வம்சமான யோசேப்பின் பேர்வழிக்கும், இரண்டாவது கெதலியா, அவன் சகோதரர், அவன் குமாரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

9. And the first Lot fell vpo Ioseph which was of Assaph: the seconde vpo Gedolia wt his brethre and sonnes, of whom there were twolue.

10. மூன்றாவது சக்கூர், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

10. The thirde vpo Sacur with his sonnes & brethre, of who there were twolue.

11. நான்காவது இஸ்ரி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

11. The fourth vpon Iezri with his sonnes and brethren, of whom there were twolue.

12. ஐந்தாவது நெத்தனியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

12. The fyfth vpo Nethania with his sonnes and brethre, of whom there were twolue.

13. ஆறாவது புக்கியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

13. The syxte vpon Bukia with his sonnes and brethren, of whom there were twolue.

14. ஏழாவது எசரேலா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

15. எட்டாவது எஷாயா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

15. The eighte vpon Iesaia with his sonnes and brethren, of whom there were twolue.

16. ஒன்பதாவது மத்தனீயா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

16. The nyenth vpon Mathania with his sonnes and brethre, of whom there were twolue.

17. பத்தாவது சிமேயா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

17. The tenth vpon Simei with his sonnes and brethren, of whom there were twolue.

18. பதினோராவது அசாரியேல், அவன் குமாரர் அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

19. பன்னிரண்டாவது அஷாபியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

20. பதின்மூன்றாவது சுபவேல், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

23. பதினாறாவது அனனியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

23. The syxtenth vpon Anania with his sonnes and brethren of whom there were twolue.

24. பதினேழாவது யோஸ்பேக்காஷா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

24. The seuenteth vpon Ia?bekasa with his sonnes & brethren of whom there were twolue.

25. பதினெட்டாவது ஆனானி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

25. The eightenth vpon Hanani with his sonnes and brethre, of whom there were twolue.

26. பத்தொன்பதாவது மலோத்தி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

26. The nyententh vpon Mallothi with his sonnes & brethren, of whom there were twolue.

27. இருபதாவது எலியாத்தா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

27. The twentieth vpon Eliatha with his sonnes and brethre of whom there were twolue.

28. இருபத்தோராவது ஒத்திர், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

28. The one & twetieth vpon Hothir with his sonnes & brethre of whom there were twolue.

29. இருபத்திரண்டாவது கிதல்தி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

29. The two and twentieth vpon Gidalthi with his sonnes & brethren, of whom there were twolue.

30. இருபத்துமூன்றாவது மகாசியோத், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

30. The thre and twentieth vpon Mehesioth with his sonnes and brethren of whom there were twolue.

31. இருபத்துநான்காவது ரொமந்தியேசர், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும் விழுந்தது.
