1. Then Yosef couldn't control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, 'Cause every man to go out from me!' There stood no man with him, while Yosef made himself known to his brothers.

2. He wept aloud. The Mitzrim heard, and the house of Par`oh heard.

3. Yosef said to his brothers, 'I am Yosef! Does my father still live?' His brothers couldn't answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.

4. Yosef said to his brothers, 'Come near to me, please.' They came near. 'He said, I am Yosef, your brother, whom you sold into Mitzrayim.

5. Now don't be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

6. For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.

7. பூமியிலே உங்கள் வம்சம் ஒழியாமலிருக்க உங்களை ஆதரிக்கிறதற்காகவும், பெரிய ரட்சிப்பினால் உங்களை உயிரோடே காப்பதற்காகவும் தேவன் என்னை உங்களுக்கு முன்னமே அனுப்பினார்.

7. God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant in the eretz, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.

8. ஆதலால் நீங்கள் அல்ல, தேவனே என்னை இவ்விடத்துக்கு அனுப்பி, என்னைப் பார்வோனுக்குத் தகப்பனாகவும், அவர் குடும்பம் அனைத்திற்கும் கர்த்தனாகவும், எகிப்துதேசம் முழுதுக்கும் அதிபதியாகவும் வைத்தார்.

8. So now it wasn't you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Par`oh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Mitzrayim.

9. Hurry, and go up to my father, and tell him, 'This is what your son Yosef says, 'God has made me lord of all Mitzrayim. Come down to me. Don't wait.

10. நீரும், உம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளும், அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளும், உம்முடைய ஆடுமாடுகளோடும் உமக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிற யாவற்றோடும் கோசேன் நாட்டில் வாசம்பண்ணி என் சமீபத்தில் இருக்கலாம்.

10. You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children's children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.

11. உமக்கும் உம்முடைய குடும்பத்தாருக்கும் உமக்கு இருக்கிற யாவற்றிற்கும் வறுமை வராதபடிக்கு, அங்கே உம்மைப் பராமரிப்பேன்; இன்னும் ஐந்து வருஷம் பஞ்சம் இருக்கும் என்று, உம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பு சொல்லச்சொன்னான் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.

11. There I will nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have.''

12. Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Binyamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

13. You shall tell my father of all my glory in Mitzrayim, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.'

14. He fell on his brother Binyamin's neck, and wept, and Binyamin wept on his neck.

15. He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.

16. The report of it was heard in Par`oh's house, saying, 'Yosef's brothers have come.' It pleased Par`oh well, and his servants.

17. Par`oh said to Yosef, 'Tell your brothers, 'Do this. Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Kana`an.

18. Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Mitzrayim, and you will eat the fat of the land.'

19. Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Mitzrayim for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

20. Also, don't concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all of the land of Mitzrayim is yours.'

21. The sons of Yisra'el did so. Yosef gave them wagons, according to the mitzvah of Par`oh, and gave them provision for the way.

22. அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் மாற்று வஸ்திரங்களையும் கொடுத்தான்; பென்யமீனுக்கோ முந்நூறு வெள்ளிக்காசையும் ஐந்து மாற்று வஸ்திரங்களையும் கொடுத்தான்.

22. To all of them he gave each man changes of clothing, but to Binyamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.

23. அப்படியே தன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பத்துக் கழுதைகளின்மேல் எகிப்தின் உச்சிதமான பதார்த்தங்களும், பத்துக் கோளிகைக் கழுதைகளின்மேல் தன் தகப்பனுக்காக வழிக்குத் தானியமும் அப்பமும் மற்றத் தின்பண்டங்களும் ஏற்றி அனுப்பினான்.

23. To his father, he sent after this manner: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Mitzrayim, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.

24. மேலும், நீங்கள் போகும் வழியிலே சண்டைபண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதிருங்கள் என்று அவன் தன் சகோதரருக்குச் சொல்லி அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்.

24. So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, 'See that you don't quarrel on the way.'

25. அவர்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து போய், கானான்தேசத்திலே தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபினிடத்தில் வந்து:

25. They went up out of Mitzrayim, and came into the land of Kana`an, to Ya`akov their father.

26. யோசேப்பு உயிரோடிருக்கிறான், அவன் எகிப்துதேசத்துக்கெல்லாம் அதிபதியாயிருக்கிறான் என்று அவனுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள். அவன் இருதயம் மூர்ச்சை அடைந்தது; அவன் அவர்களை நம்பவில்லை.

26. They told him, saying, 'Yosef is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Mitzrayim.' His heart fainted, for he didn't believe them.

27. அவர்கள் யோசேப்பு தங்களுடனே சொன்ன வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னபோதும், தன்னை ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு போகும்படி யோசேப்பு அனுப்பின வண்டிகளை அவன் கண்டபோதும், அவர்களுடைய தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபின் ஆவி உயிர்த்தது.

27. They told him all the words of Yosef, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Yosef had sent to carry him, the spirit of Ya`akov, their father, revived.

28. அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல்: என் குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பு இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறானே, இது போதும்; நான் மரணமடையுமுன்னே போய் அவனைப் பார்ப்பேன் என்றான்.

28. Yisra'el said, 'It is enough. Yosef my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.'
