1. தேவனுடைய மனுஷனாகிய மோசே தான் மரணமடையுமுன்னே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை ஆசீர்வதித்த ஆசீர்வாதமாவது:

1. And this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death.

3. Yea, He loved the people. All His saints are in Your hand, and they sat down at Your feet. Everyone shall receive of Your words.

4. Moses commanded us a law, the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

5. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered.

6. Let Reuben live and not die, and let not his men be few.

7. And this for Judah: And he said, Hear, Jehovah, the voice of Judah, and bring him to his people. Let his hands be sufficient for him, and You shall be a help to him from his enemies.

8. லேவியரைக்குறித்து: நீ மாசாவிலே பரீட்சைபார்த்து, மேரிபாவின் தண்ணீரிடத்தில் வாக்குவாதம்பண்ணின உன் பரிசுத்த புருஷன் வசமாய் உன்னுடைய தும்மீம் ஊரீம் என்பவைகள் இருப்பதாக.

8. And of Levi he said, Let Your Thummim and Your Urim be with Your holy one whom You proved at Massah; You strove with him at the Waters of Strife,

9. who said to his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; and he has not acknowledged his brothers, nor knew his own son, for they have observed Your Word and kept Your covenant.

10. Let them teach Jacob Your judgments, and Israel Your Law. Let them put incense before You and whole burnt sacrifice on Your altar.

11. O, Jehovah, bless his strength, and accept the work of his hands. Strike through the loins of those who rise against him, and of those who hate him, that they should not rise again.

12. Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Jehovah shall live in safety beside Him, and shall cover him all the day long, yea he shall dwell between His shoulders.

15. And with the first of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the everlasting hills,

16. and for the precious things of the earth and fullness of it, and for the good will of Him who lived in the Bush. Let the blessing come on the head of Joseph, and on the top of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.

17. His glory is like the first-born of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of the wild ox. With them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

18. செபுலோனைக்குறித்து: செபுலோனே, நீ வெளியே புறப்பட்டுப்போகையிலும், இசக்காரே, நீ உன் கூடாரங்களில் தங்குகையிலும் சந்தோஷமாயிரு.

18. And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and Issachar in your tents.

19. ஜனங்களை அவர்கள் மலையின்மேல் வரவழைத்து, அங்கே நீதியின் பலிகளை இடுவார்கள்; கடல்களிலுள்ள சம்பூரணத்தையும் மணலுக்குள்ளே மறைந்திருக்கும் பொருள்களையும் அநுபவிப்பார்கள் என்றான்.

19. They shall call the peoples to the mountain. There they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they shall suck the bounty of the seas and treasures hidden in the sand.

20. காத்தைக்குறித்து: காத்துக்கு விஸ்தாரமான இடத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர்; அவன் சிங்கத்தைப்போல் தங்கியிருந்து, புயத்தையும் உச்சந்தலையையும் பீறிப்போடுவான்.

20. And of Gad he said, Blessed is He who makes Gad greater. He lives as a lion and tears the arm and the crown of the head.

21. அவன் தனக்காக முதல் இடத்தைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டான்; அங்கே தனக்கு நியாயப்பிரமாணிகன் கொடுத்த பங்கு பத்திரமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆனாலும் அவன் ஜனத்தின் முன்னணியாய் வந்து, மற்ற இஸ்ரவேலுடனே கர்த்தரின் நீதியையும் அவருடைய நியாயங்களையும் நடப்பிப்பான் என்றான்.

21. And he provided the first part for himself, because there was the portion of the lawgiver hidden. And he came with the heads of the people. He executed the justice of Jehovah, and His judgments with Israel.

22. தாணைக்குறித்து: தாண் ஒரு பாலசிங்கம், அவன் பாசானிலிருந்து பாய்வான் என்றான்.

22. And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp. He shall leap from Bashan.

23. நப்தலியைக்குறித்து: நப்தலி கர்த்தருடைய தயவினாலே திருப்தியடைந்து, அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதத்தினாலே நிறைந்திருப்பான். நீ மேற்றிசையையும் தென்திசையையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள் என்றான்.

23. And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full with the blessing of Jehovah, possess the west and the south.

24. ஆசேரைக்குறித்து: ஆசேர் புத்திர பாக்கியமுடையவனாய், தன் சகோதரருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருந்து, தன் காலை எண்ணெயிலே தோய்ப்பான்.

24. And of Asher he said, Asher shall be blessed with sons, let him be pleasing to his brothers, and let him dip his foot in oil.

25. இரும்பும் வெண்கலமும் உன் பாதரட்சையின் கீழிருக்கும்; உன் நாட்களுக்குத்தக்கதாய் உன் பெலனும் இருக்கும் என்றான்.

25. Your shoes shall be iron and bronze. And as your days, so shall your strength be.

26. யெஷூரனுடைய தேவனைப்போல் ஒருவரும் இல்லை; அவர் உனக்குச் சகாயமாய் வானங்களின்மேலும் தமது மாட்சிமையோடு ஆகாய மண்டலங்களின் மேலும் ஏறிவருகிறார்.

26. There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heaven to your help, and in His majesty on the clouds.

27. அநாதி தேவனே உனக்கு அடைக்கலம்; அவருடைய நித்திய புயங்கள் உனக்கு ஆதாரம்; அவர் உனக்கு முன்னின்று சத்துருக்களைத் துரத்தி, அவர்களை அழித்துப்போடு என்று கட்டளையிடுவார்.

27. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And He shall throw the enemy out from before you, and shall say, Destroy!

28. இஸ்ரவேல் சுகமாய்த் தனித்து வாசம்பண்ணுவான்; யாக்கோபின் ஊற்றானது தானியமும் திராட்சரசமுமுள்ள தேசத்திலே இருக்கும்; அவருடைய வானமும் பனியைப் பெய்யும்.

28. And Israel shall dwell in safety alone; the fountain of Jacob in a land of grain and wine; and his heavens shall drop down dew.

29. இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ பாக்கியவான்; கர்த்தரால் ரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட ஜனமே, உனக்கு ஒப்பானவன் யார்? உனக்குச் சகாயஞ்செய்யும் கேடகமும் உனக்கு மகிமை பொருந்திய பட்டயமும் அவரே; உன் சத்துருக்கள் உனக்கு இச்சகம் பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்; அவர்கள் மேடுகளை மிதிப்பாய், என்று சொன்னான்.

29. Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, O people saved by Jehovah, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! And your enemies shall be found liars to you, and you shall tread on their high places.
