1. ஆபிப் மாதத்தைக் கவனித்திருந்து, அதில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவாய்; ஆபிப் மாதத்திலே இராக்காலத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்.

1. 'Observe the month of Aviv, and keep [Pesach] to ADONAI your God; for in the month of Aviv, ADONAI your God brought you out of Egypt at night.

2. கர்த்தர் தமது நாமம் விளங்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்தில், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவின் பலியாகிய ஆடுமாடுகளைப் பலியிடுவாயாக.

2. You are to sacrifice the [Pesach] offering from flock and herd to ADONAI your God in the place where ADONAI will choose to have his name live.

3. நீ எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாளை நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் நினைக்கும்படி, பஸ்காப் பலியுடனே புளிப்புள்ள அப்பம் புசியாமல், சிறுமையின் அப்பமாகிய புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களை ஏழுநாள் வரைக்கும் புசிக்கக்கடவாய்; நீ தீவிரமாய் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டபடியினால் இப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டும்.

3. You are not to eat any [hametz] with it; for seven days you are to eat with it [matzah], the bread of affliction; for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste. Thus you will remember the day you left the land of Egypt as long as you live.

4. ஏழுநாள் அளவும் உன் எல்லைகளிலெங்கும் புளிப்புள்ள அப்பம் உன்னிடத்தில் காணப்படலாகாது; நீ முதல் நாள் சாயங்காலத்தில் இட்ட பலியின் மாம்சத்தில் ஏதாகிலும் இராமுழுதும் விடியற்காலம் வரைக்கும் வைக்கவேண்டாம்.

4. No leaven is to be seen with you anywhere in your territory for seven days. None of the meat from your sacrifice on the first day in the evening is to remain all night until morning.

5. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக்கொடுக்கும் உன்னுடைய வாசல்களில் எதிலும் நீ பஸ்காவை அடிக்கவேண்டாம்.

5. You may not sacrifice the [Pesach] offering in just any of the towns that ADONAI your God is giving you;

6. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தமது நாமம் விளங்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்திலே, நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நேரமாகிய சாயங்காலத்திலே சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்கிறபோது பஸ்காவை அடித்து,

6. but at the place where ADONAI your God will choose to have his name live- there is where you are to sacrifice the [Pesach] offering, in the evening, when the sun sets, at the time of year that you came out of Egypt.

7. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஸ்தானத்திலே, அதைப் பொரித்துப் புசித்து, விடியற்காலத்திலே உன் கூடாரங்களுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போவாயாக.

7. You are to roast it and eat it in the place ADONAI your God will choose; in the morning you will return and go to your tents.

8. நீ ஆறு நாளும் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பம் புசிக்கவேண்டும், ஏழாம் நாள் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஆசரிக்கப்படும் நாளாயிருக்கும்; அதிலே யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

8. For six days you are to eat [matzah]; on the seventh day there is to be a festive assembly for ADONAI your God; do not do any kind of work.

9. ஏழு வாரங்களை எண்ணுவாயாக; அறுப்பு அறுக்கத் தொடங்கும் காலமுதல் நீ அந்த ஏழு வாரங்களையும் எண்ணவேண்டும்.

9. 'You are to count seven weeks; you are to begin counting seven weeks from the time you first put your sickle to the standing grain.

10. அவைகள் முடிந்தபோது வாரங்களின் பண்டிகையை உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு என்று ஆசரித்து, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்ததற்குத் தக்கதாய் உன் கைக்கு நேர்ந்த மனப்பூர்வமான காணிக்கையாகிய பகுதியைச் செலுத்தி,

10. You are to observe the festival of [Shavu'ot] [[weeks]] for ADONAI your God with a voluntary offering, which you are to give in accordance with the degree to which ADONAI your God has prospered you.

11. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தமது நாமம் விளங்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்திலே, நீயும், உன் குமாரனும், உன் குமாரத்தியும், உன் வேலைக்காரனும், உன் வேலைக்காரியும், உன் வாசல்களில் இருக்கிற லேவியனும், உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிற பரதேசியும், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையும், விதவையும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு,

11. You are to rejoice in the presence of ADONAI your God- you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, the [L'vi'im] living in your towns, and the foreigners, orphans and widows living among you- in the place where ADONAI your God will choose to have his name live.

12. நீ எகிப்தில் அடிமையாயிருந்ததை நினைத்து, இந்தக் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு இவைகளின்படி செய்யக்கடவாய்.

12. Remember that you were a slave in Egypt; then you will keep and obey these laws.

13. நீ உன் களத்தின் பலனையும் உன் ஆலையின் பலனையும் சேர்த்தபின்பு, கூடாரப்பண்டிகையை ஏழு நாள் ஆசரித்து,

13. 'You are to keep the festival of [Sukkot] for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing-floor and winepress.

14. உன் பண்டிகையில் நீயும், உன் குமாரனும், உன் குமாரத்தியும், உன் வேலைக்காரனும், உன் வேலைக்காரியும், உன் வாசல்களில் இருக்கிற லேவியனும், பரதேசியும், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையும், விதவையும் சந்தோஷப்படக்கடவீர்கள்;

14. Rejoice at your festival- you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, the [L'vi'im], and the foreigners, orphans and widows living among you.

15. உனக்கு உண்டான எல்லா வரத்திலும் உன் கைகளுடைய எல்லாக் கிரியையிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்தபடியினால், கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஏழு நாளளவும் பண்டிகையை ஆசரித்துச் சந்தோஷமாயிருப்பாயாக.

15. Seven days you are to keep the festival for ADONAI your God in the place ADONAI your God will choose, because ADONAI your God will bless you in all your crops and in all your work, so you are to be full of joy!

16. வருஷத்தில் மூன்று தரம் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பப்பண்டிகையிலும், வாரங்களின் பண்டிகையிலும், கூடாரப்பண்டிகையிலும், உன் ஆண்மக்கள் எல்லாரும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்திலே, அவர் சந்நிதிக்கு முன்பாக வந்து காணப்படக்கடவர்கள்.

16. 'Three times a year all your men are to appear in the presence of ADONAI your God in the place which he will choose- at the festival of [matzah], at the festival of [Shavu'ot] and at the festival of [Sukkot.] They are not to show up before ADONAI empty-handed,

17. ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் வெறுங்கையோடே வராமல், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்கு அருளிய ஆசீர்வாதத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக, அவனவன் தன் தன் தகுதிக்கு ஏற்றபடி காணிக்கையைக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.

17. but every man is to give what he can, in accordance with the blessing ADONAI your God has given you.

18. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் கோத்திரங்கள்தோறும் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் வாசல்களிலெல்லாம், நியாயாதிபதிகளையும் தலைவரையும் ஏற்படுத்துவாயாக; அவர்கள் நீதியுடன் ஜனங்களுக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.

18. 'You are to appoint judges and officers for all your gates [[in the cities]] ADONAI your God is giving you, tribe by tribe; and they are to judge the people with righteous judgment.

19. நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டாதிருப்பாயாக; முகதாட்சிணியம்பண்ணாமலும், பரிதானம் வாங்காமலும் இருப்பாயாக; பரிதானம் ஞானிகளின் கண்களைக் குருடாக்கி, நீதிமான்களின் நியாயங்களைத் தாறுமாறாக்கும்.

19. You are not to distort justice or show favoritism, and you are not to accept a bribe, for a gift blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of even the upright.

20. நீ பிழைத்து, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு நீதியையே பின்பற்றுவாயாக.

20. Justice, only justice, you must pursue; so that you will live and inherit the land ADONAI your God is giving you.

21. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு உண்டாக்கும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையில் யாதொரு தோப்பையும் உண்டாக்கவேண்டாம்;

21. 'You are not to plant any sort of tree as a sacred pole beside the altar of ADONAI your God that you will make for yourselves.

22. யாதொரு சிலையையும் நிறுத்தவேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அதை வெறுக்கிறார்.

22. Likewise, do not set up a standing-stone; ADONAI your God hates such things.
