1. பின்பு கர்த்தர் ஆரோனை நோக்கி: நீயும் உன்னோடேகூட உன் குமாரரும் உன் தகப்பன் வம்சத்தாரும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைப்பற்றிய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமக்கவேண்டும்; நீயும் உன்னோடேகூட உன் குமாரரும் உங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தைப்பற்றிய அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமக்க வேண்டும்.

1. And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy fathers house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

2. உன் தகப்பனாகிய லேவியின் கோத்திரத்தாரான உன் சகோதரரையும் உன்னோடே கூடியிருக்கவும் உன்னிடத்திலே சேவிக்கவும் அவர்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்; நீயும் உன் குமாரருமோ சாட்சியின் கூடாரத்துக்குமுன் ஊழியம் செய்யக்கடவீர்கள்.

2. And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou near with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall be before the tent of the testimony.

3. அவர்கள் உன் காவலையும் கூடாரம் அனைத்தின் காவலையும் காக்கக்கடவர்கள்; ஆகிலும் அவர்களும் நீங்களும் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அவர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் பணிமுட்டுகளண்டையிலும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலும் சேராமல்,

3. And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the Tent: only they shall not come nigh unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar, that they die not, neither they, nor ye.

4. உன்னோடே கூடிக்கொண்டு, கூடாரத்துக்கடுத்த எல்லாப் பணிவிடையையும் செய்ய, ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் காவலைக் காக்கக்கடவர்கள்; அந்நியன் ஒருவனும் உங்களிடத்தில் சேரக்கூடாது.

4. And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the Tent: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.

5. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர்மேல் இனிக் கடுங்கோபம் வராதபடிக்கு, நீங்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் காவலையும் பலிபீடத்தின் காவலையும் காக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

5. And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be wrath no more upon the children of Israel.

6. ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடையைச் செய்ய, கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட உங்கள் சகோதரராகிய லேவியரை நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உங்களுக்கு தத்தமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

6. And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are a gift, given unto the LORD, to do the service of the tent of meeting.

7. ஆகையால் நீயும் உன்னோடேகூட உன் குமாரரும் பலிபீடத்துக்கும் திரைக்கு உட்புறத்துக்கும் அடுத்த எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்யும்பொருட்டு, உங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தைக் காத்துச் சேவிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; உங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தை உங்களுக்கு தத்தமாக அருளினேன்; அதைச் செய்யும்படி சேருகிற அந்நியன் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவன் என்றார்.

7. And thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priesthood for every thing of the altar, and for that within the veil; and ye shall serve: I give you the priesthood as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

8. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் ஆரோனை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துகிறவைகளிலெல்லாம் எனக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கப்படும் படைப்புகளைக் காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்களே, அவைகளை உனக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; அபிஷேகத்தினிமித்தம் அவைகளை உனக்கும் உன் குமாரருக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளையாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

8. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings, even all the hallowed things of the children of Israel, unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, as a due for ever.

9. மகா பரிசுத்தமானவைகளிலே, அக்கினிக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படாமல் உன்னுடையதாயிருப்பது எவையெனில், அவர்கள் எனக்குப் படைக்கும் எல்லாப் படைப்பும், எல்லாப் போஜனபலியும், எல்லாப் பாவநிவாரணபலியும், எல்லாக் குற்றநிவாரணபலியும், உனக்கும் உன் குமாரருக்கும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

9. This shall be thine of the most holy things, {cf15i reserved} from the fire: every oblation of theirs, even every meal offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every guilt offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

10. பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே அவைகளைப் புசிக்கவேண்டும்; ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரும் அவைகளைப் புசிக்கலாம்; அவைகள் உனக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருப்பதாக.

10. As the most holy things shalt thou eat thereof: every male shall eat thereof; it shall be holy unto thee.

11. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கிறதும் அசைவாட்டுகிறதுமான அவர்களுடைய எல்லாக் காணிக்கைகளின் படைப்பும் உன்னுடையவைகளாயிருக்கும்; அவைகளை உனக்கும் உன் குமாரருக்கும் உன் குமாரத்திகளுக்கும் நித்திய நியமமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; உன் வீட்டிலே சுத்தமானவர்கள் எல்லாரும் அவைகளைப் புசிக்கலாம்.

11. And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, even all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, as a due for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat thereof.

12. அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுக்கும் அவர்களுடைய முதற்பலன்களாகிய உச்சிதமான எண்ணெயையும், உச்சிதமான திராட்சரசத்தையும், தானியத்தையும் உனக்கு உரியதாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.

12. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the vintage, and of the corn, the firstfruits of them which they give unto the LORD, to thee have I given them.

13. தங்கள் தேசத்தில் முதற் பழுத்த பலனில் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொண்டு வருவதெல்லாம் உனக்கு உரியதாகும்; உன் வீட்டிலே சுத்தமாயிருப்பவர்கள் யாவரும் அவைகளைப் புசிக்கலாம்.

13. The firstripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat thereof.

14. இஸ்ரவேலிலே சாபத்தீடாக நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டதெல்லாம் உனக்கு உரியதாயிருக்கும்.

14. Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.

15. மனிதரிலும் மிருகங்களிலும் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தும் சமஸ்த பிராணிகளுக்குள்ளே கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கும் யாவும் உனக்கு உரியதாயிருக்கும்; ஆனாலும் மனிதரின் முதற்பேற்றை அகத்தியமாய் மீட்கவேண்டும்; தீட்டான மிருகஜீவனின் தலையீற்றையும் மீட்கவேண்டும்.

15. Every thing that openeth the womb, of all flesh which they offer unto the LORD, both of man and beast, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

16. மீட்கவேண்டியவைகள் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு மேற்பட்டதானால், உன் மதிப்புக்கு இசைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படி ஐந்து சேக்கல் பணத்தாலே அவைகளை மீட்கவேண்டும்; ஒரு சேக்கல் இருபது கேரா.

16. And those that are to be redeemed of them from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary (the same is twenty gerahs).

17. மாட்டின் தலையீற்றும், செம்மறியாட்டின் தலையீற்றும், வெள்ளாட்டின் தலையீற்றுமோ மீட்கப்படவேண்டாம்; அவைகள் பரிசுத்தமானவைகள்; அவைகளின் இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தெளித்து, அவைகளின் கொழுப்பைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனமாகத் தகனிக்கவேண்டும்.

17. But the firstling of an ox, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

18. அசைவாட்டும் மார்க்கண்டத்தைப்போலும் வலது முன்னந்தொடையைப்போலும் அவைகளின் மாம்சமும் உன்னுடையதாகும்.

18. And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right thigh, it shall be thine.

19. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கிற பரிசுத்த படைப்புகளையெல்லாம் உனக்கும் உன் குமாரருக்கும் உன் குமாரத்திகளுக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளையாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் இது உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் என்றைக்கும் செல்லும் மாறாத உடன்படிக்கை என்றார்.

19. All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, as a due for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

20. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் ஆரோனை நோக்கி: அவர்களுடைய தேசத்தில் நீ ஒன்றையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டாம், அவர்கள் நடுவே உனக்குப் பங்கு உண்டாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவில் நானே உன் பங்கும் உன் சுதந்தரமுமாய் இருக்கிறேன்.

20. And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

21. இதோ, லேவியின் புத்திரர் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடையைச் செய்கிற அவர்களுடைய வேலைக்காக, இஸ்ரவேலருக்குள்ளவை எல்லாவற்றிலும் தசமபாகத்தை அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்.
எபிரேயர் 7:5

21. And unto the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting.

22. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் குற்றஞ்சுமந்து சாகாதபடிக்கு, இனி ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தைக் கிட்டாதிருக்கக்கடவர்கள்.

22. And henceforth the children of Israel shall not come nigh the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die.

23. லேவியர் மாத்திரம் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்கடுத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்யவேண்டும்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரம் இல்லை என்பது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் நித்திய கட்டளையாயிருக்கும்.

23. But the Levites shall do the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

24. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் படைப்பாகிய தசமபாகத்தை லேவியருக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமில்லையென்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன் என்றார்.

24. For the tithe of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

25. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

25. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

26. நீ லேவியரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையில் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்படி நான் உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்த தசமபாகத்தை நீங்கள் அவர்கள் கையில் வாங்கும்போது. தசமபாகத்தில் பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப்படைக்கும் படைப்பாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

26. Moreover thou shalt speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, a tithe of the tithe.

27. நீங்கள் ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் இந்தப் படைப்பு களத்தின் தானியத்தைப்போலும், ஆலையின் இரசத்தைப்போலும் உங்களுக்கு எண்ணப்படும்.

27. And your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.

28. இப்படியே நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையில் வாங்கும் தசமபாகமாகிய உங்கள் பங்குகளிலெல்லாம் நீங்களும் கர்த்தருக்கு என்று ஒரு படைப்பை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைத்து, அந்தப் படைப்பை ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

28. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and thereof ye shall give the LORDS heave offering to Aaron the priest.

29. உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிற ஒவ்வொரு காணிக்கையிலுமுள்ள உச்சிதமான பரிசுத்த பங்கையெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் படைப்பாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

29. Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.

30. ஆதலால் நீ அவர்களோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அதில் உச்சிதமானதை நீங்கள் ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும்போது, அது களத்தின் வரத்திலும் ஆலையின் வரத்திலும் இருந்து எடுத்துச்செலுத்துகிறதுபோல லேவியருக்கு எண்ணப்படும்.

30. Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.

31. அதை நீங்களும் உங்கள் குடும்பத்தாரும் எவ்விடத்திலும் புசிக்கலாம்; அது நீங்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே செய்யும் பணிவிடைக்கு ஈடான உங்கள் சம்பளம்.

31. And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward in return for your service in the tent of meeting.

32. இப்படி அதில் உச்சிதமானதை ஏறெடுத்துப் படைத்தீர்களானால், நீங்கள் அதினிமித்தம் பாவம் சுமக்கமாட்டீர்கள்; நீங்கள் சாகாதிருக்கும்படிக்கு, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தலாகாது என்று சொல் என்றார்.

32. And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best thereof: and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, that ye die not.
