1. O God, the nations have come into the land of Your people. They have made Your holy house dirty. They have crushed the walls and buildings of Jerusalem.

3. They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem. And there was no one to bury them.

4. எங்கள் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையும், எங்கள் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாருக்குப் பரியாசமும் சக்கந்தமுமானோம்.

4. We have become a shame to our neighbors. Those around us laugh at and make fun of us.

5. எதுவரைக்கும் கர்த்தாவே! நீர் என்றைக்கும் கோபமாயிருப்பீரோ? உம்முடைய எரிச்சல் அக்கினியைப் போல் எரியுமோ?

5. How long, O Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

6. Pour out Your anger on the nations that do not know You, and on the nations that do not call on Your name.

7. For they have destroyed Jacob. They have laid waste the place where he lived.

9. O God Who saves us, help us for the honor of Your name. Take us out of trouble and forgive our sins, for the honor of Your name.

10. அவர்களுடைய தேவன் எங்கே என்று புறஜாதிகள் சொல்வானேன்? உமது ஊழியக்காரருடைய சிந்துண்ட இரத்தத்தின் பழிவாங்குதல் ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே எங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக விளங்கும்படி செய்யும்.

10. Why should the nations say, 'Where is their God?' Make it known among the nations, in front of our eyes, that You punish for the blood that has poured from Your servants.

11. கட்டுண்டவனுடைய பெருமூச்சு உமக்கு முன்பாக வரட்டும்; கொலைக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை உமது புயபலத்தினால் உயிரோடே காத்தருளும்.

11. Hear the cries of those in prison. By the greatness of Your power, save those who are being sent to death.

12. ஆண்டவரே, எங்கள் அயலார் உம்மை நிந்தித்த நிந்தையை, ஏழத்தனையாக அவர்கள் மடியிலே திரும்பப்பண்ணும்.

12. And return to our neighbors seven times the shame that they have brought You, O Lord.

13. Then we Your people, the sheep of Your field, will give thanks to You forever. We will tell of Your praise to all the people of all times.
