1. பூமியின் குடிகளே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரமாய்ப் பாடுங்கள்.

1. For the Chief Musician. A Song, a Psalm. Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth:

2. அவர் நாமத்தின் மகத்துவத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய துதியின் மகிமையைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள்.

2. Sing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious.

3. தேவனை நோக்கி: உமது கிரியைகளில் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது மகத்துவமான வல்லமையினிமித்தம் உம்முடைய சத்தருக்கள் உமக்கு இச்சகம்பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்.

3. Say to God, How awesome are your works! Through the greatness of your power will your enemies submit themselves to you.

4. பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் உம்மைப்பணிந்துகொண்டு உம்மைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நாமத்தைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். (சேலா)

4. All the earth will worship you, And will sing to you; They will sing to your name. Selah.

5. தேவனுடைய செய்கைகளை வந்து பாருங்கள்; அவர் மனுபுத்திரரிடத்தில் நடப்பிக்குங்கிரியையில் பயங்கரமானவர்.

5. Come, and see the works of God; [He is] awesome in his doing toward the sons of man.

6. கடலை உலர்ந்த தரையாக மாற்றினார்; ஆற்றைக் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவரில் களிகூர்ந்தோம்.

6. He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There we rejoiced in him.

7. அவர் தம்முடைய வல்லமையினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார்; அவருடைய கண்கள் ஜாதிகள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; துரோகிகள் தங்களை உயர்த்தாதிருப்பார்களாக. (சேலா)

7. He rules by his might forever; His eyes observe the nations: Don't let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

8. ஜனங்களே, நம்முடைய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, அவரைத் துதிக்குஞ்சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள்.

8. Oh bless our God, you+ peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

9. அவர் நம்முடைய கால்களைத் தள்ளாடவொட்டாமல், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவை உயிரோடே வைக்கிறார்.

9. Who holds our soul in life, And does not allow our feet to be moved.

10. தேவனே, எங்களைச் சோதித்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல எங்களைப் புடமிட்டீர்.

10. For you, O God, have proved us: You have tried us, as silver is tried.

11. எங்களை வலையில் அகப்படுத்தி, எங்கள் இடுப்புகளின்மேல் வருத்தமான பாரத்தை ஏற்றினீர்.

11. You brought us into the net; You laid an intense burden on our loins.

12. மனுஷரை எங்கள் தலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போகப்பண்ணினீர்; தீயையும் தண்ணீரையும் கடந்து வந்தோம்; செழிப்பான இடத்தில் எங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து விட்டீர்.

12. You caused common man to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But you brought us out into abundance.

13. சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளோடே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பேன்;

13. I will come into your house with burnt-offerings; I will pay you my vows,

14. என் இக்கட்டில் நான் என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, என் வாயினால் சொல்லிய என் பொருத்தனைகளை உமக்குச் செலுத்துவேன்.

14. Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.

15. ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணப்புகையுடனே கொழுமையானவைகளை உமக்குத் தகனபலியாக இடுவேன்; காளைகளையும் செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன். (சேலா)

15. I will offer to you burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

16. தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் வந்து கேளுங்கள்; அவர் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குச் செய்ததைச் சொல்லுவேன்.

16. Come, and hear, all you+ who fear God, And I will declare what he has done for my soul.

17. அவரை நோக்கி என் வாயினால் கூப்பிட்டேன், என் நாவினால் அவர் புகழப்பட்டார்.

17. I cried to him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.

18. என் இருதயத்தில் அக்கிரமசிந்தை கொண்டிருந்தேனானால், ஆண்டவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடார்.

18. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

19. மெய்யாய் தேவன் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார், என் ஜெபத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.

19. But truly God has heard; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

20. என் ஜெபத்தைத் தள்ளாமலும், தமது கிருபையை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்காமலும் இருந்த தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.

20. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor his loving-kindness from me.
