1. தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமும் பெலனும், ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அனுகூலமான துணையுமானவர்.

4. ஒரு நதியுண்டு, அதின் நீர்க்கால்கள் தேவனுடைய நகரத்தையும், உன்னதமானவர் வாசம்பண்ணும் பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்தையும் சந்தோஷிப்பிக்கும்.

4. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5. தேவன் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிறார், அது அசையாது; அதிகாலையிலே தேவன் அதற்குச் சகாயம் பண்ணுவார்.

8. பூமியிலே பாழ்க்கடிப்புகளை நடப்பிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய செய்கைகளை வந்துபாருங்கள்.

9. அவர் பூமியின் கடைமுனைமட்டும் யுத்தங்களை ஓயப்பண்ணுகிறார்; வில்லை ஒடித்து, ஈட்டியை முறிக்கிறார்; இரதங்களை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரிக்கிறார்.

9. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.

10. நீங்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்து, நானே தேவனென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன், பூமியிலே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன்.

10. 'Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'
