1. நீதிமான்களே, கர்த்தருக்குள் களிகூருங்கள்; துதிசெய்வது செம்மையானவர்களுக்குத் தகும்.

1. Shout for joy, ye righteous, in Yahweh, To the upright, seemly is praise.

2. சுரமண்டலத்தினால் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, பத்து நரம்பு வீணையினாலும் அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள்.

2. Give ye thanks unto Yahweh with the lyre, With a harp of ten strings, make ye music unto him.

3. அவருக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; ஆனந்த சத்தத்தோடே வாத்தியங்களை நேர்த்தியாய் வாசியுங்கள்.

3. Sing unto him, a song that is new, With skill, sweep the strings, with loud noise.

4. For right is the word of Yahweh, and, all his wok, is in faithfulness:

5. அவர் நீதியிலும் நியாயத்திலும் பிரியப்படுகிறார்; பூமி கர்த்தருடைய காருணியத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.

5. Who loveth righteousness and justice, With the lovingkindness of Yahweh, the earth is full.

6. கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையினால் வானங்களும், அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினால் அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையும் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது.

6. By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, and, by the spirit of his mouth, all their host:

7. Who gathered as into a skin-bottle the waters of the sea, Delivering, into treasuries, the roaring deeps.

8. பூமியெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுவதாக; உலகத்திலுள்ள குடிகளெல்லாம் அவருக்கு அஞ்சியிருப்பதாக.

8. Let all the earth, stand in awe of Yahweh, Of him, be in dread, all ye inhabitants of the world;

9. அவர் சொல்ல ஆகும், அவர் கட்டளையிட நிற்கும்.

9. For, he, spake, and it was, He, commanded, and it stood forth.

10. கர்த்தர் ஜாதிகளின் ஆலோசனையை விருதாவாக்கி, ஜனங்களுடைய நினைவுகளை அவமாக்குகிறார்.

10. Yahweh, hath frustrated the counsel of nations, hath brought to nothing the devices of peoples.

11. கர்த்தருடைய ஆலோசனை நித்தியகாலமாகவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் நிற்கும்.

11. The counsel of Yahweh, to times age-abiding, shall stand, The devices of his heart, from generation to generation.

12. கர்த்தரைத் தங்களுக்குத் தெய்வமாகக்கொண்ட ஜாதியும், அவர் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஜனமும் பாக்கியமுள்ளது.

12. How happy the nation whose God is, Yahweh, The people he hath chosen as his own inheritance!

13. கர்த்தர் வானத்திலிருந்து நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எல்லா மனுபுத்திரரையும் காண்கிறார்.

13. Out of the heavens, hath Yahweh looked, He hath seen all the sons of men:

14. தாம் வாசமாயிருக்கிற ஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின் குடிகள் எல்லார்மேலும் கண்ணோக்கமாயிருக்கிறார்.

14. Out of his settled place of abode, hath he fixed his gaze on all the inhabitants of the earth:

15. அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களையெல்லாம் அவர் உருவாக்கி, அவர்கள் செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் கவனித்திருக்கிறார்.

15. Who fashioneth their heart all together, Who understandeth all their doings.

16. எந்த ராஜாவும் தன் சேனையின் மிகுதியால் இரட்சிக்கப்படான்; சவுரியவானும் தன் பலத்தின் மிகுதியால் தப்பான்.

16. Not a king, can be saved by greatness of force, nor, hero, deliver himself by greatness of strength:

17. இரட்சிக்கிறதற்குக் குதிரை விருதா; அது தன் மிகுந்த வீரியத்தால் தப்புவியாது.

17. A deception, is the horse, for victory, and, by his great strength, shall he not deliver.

18. தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களின் ஆத்துமாக்களை மரணத்திற்கு விலக்கி விடுவிக்கவும்;

18. Lo! the eye of Yahweh, is toward them who revere him, unto such as are waiting for his lovingkindness:

19. பஞ்சத்தில் அவர்களை உயிரோடே காக்கவும், கர்த்தருடைய கண் அவர்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது.

19. To rescue, from death, their soul, and to keep them alive in famine.

20. நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறது; அவரே நமக்குத் துணையும் நமக்குக் கேடகமுமானவர்.

20. Our own soul, hath waited for Yahweh, Our help and our shield, is he!

21. அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை நாம் நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய இருதயம் அவருக்குள் களிகூரும்.

21. For, in him, shall our heart rejoice, For, in his holy Name, have we trusted.

22. கர்த்தாவே, நாங்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியே உமது கிருபை எங்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக.

22. Be thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, upon us, According as we have waited for thee.
