1. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.

2. என் தேவனே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை மேற்கொண்டு மகிழவிடாதேயும்.

2. O my God, in thee, have I put my trust, Let me not be put to shame, Let not my foe exult over me:

3. உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கிற ஒருவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி செய்யும்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களே வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவார்களாக.

3. Yea let, none who wait for thee, be put to shame, Let them be put to shame who act covertly without cause!

4. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வழிகளை எனக்குத் தெரிவியும்; உம்முடைய பாதைகளை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும்.

4. Thy ways, O Yahweh, let me know, Thy paths, teach thou me:

5. உம்முடைய சத்தியத்திலே என்னை நடத்தி, என்னைப் போதித்தருளும்; நீரே என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவன், உம்மை நோக்கி நாள்முழுதும் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

5. Guide me into thy truth and teach me, for, thou, art my delivering God, For thee, have I waited all the day:

6. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்களையும் உம்முடைய காருணியங்களையும் நினைத்தருளும், அவை அநாதி காலமுதல் இருக்கின்றனவே.

6. Remember thy compassions, O Yahweh, and thy lovingkindnesses, For, from age-past times, have they been.

7. என் இளவயதின் பாவங்களையும் என் மீறுதல்களையும் நினையாதிரும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய தயவினிமித்தம் என்னை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நினைத்தருளும்.

7. The sins of my youth, and my transgressions, do not thou call to mind, According to thine own lovingkindness, remember thou me, for the sake of thine own goodness, O Yahweh.

8. கர்த்தர் நல்லவரும் உத்தமருமாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்கு வழியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.

8. Good and upright, is Yahweh, For this cause, will he direct sinners into the way.

9. சிறுமைபட்டவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சிறுமைபட்டவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார்.

9. May he guide patient wronged-ones to be righted, and teach such oppressed-ones his way.

10. கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு, அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் கிருபையும் சத்தியமுமானவை.

10. All the paths of Yahweh, are lovingkindness and faithfulness, to such as keep his covenant, and his testimonies.

11. கர்த்தாவே, என் அக்கிரமம் பெரிது; உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் அதை மன்னித்தருளும்.

11. For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, Therefore wilt thou pardon mine iniquity, for great it is.

12. கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்.

12. Who then is the man that revereth Yahweh? Let him direct him into the way he should choose.

13. அவன் ஆத்துமா நன்மையில் தங்கும்; அவன் சந்ததி பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்.

13. His soul, with prosperity, shall tarry, and, his seed, shall possess the land.

14. கர்த்தருடைய இரகசியம் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர்களுக்குத் தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையைத் தெரியப்படுத்துவார்.

14. Intimacy with Yahweh, have they who revere him, His covenant also, he letteth them know.

15. என் கண்கள் எப்போதும் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன; அவரே என் கால்களை வலைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவார்.

15. Mine eyes, are continually unto Yahweh, for, he, bringeth, out of the net, my feet.

16. என்மேல் நோக்கமாகி, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; நான் தனித்தவனும் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுமாய் இருக்கிறேன்.

16. Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, for, alone and oppressed, I am.

17. என் இருதயத்தின் வியாகுலங்கள் பெருகியிருக்கின்றன; என் இடுக்கண்களிலிருந்து என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்.

17. The distresses of my heart, hath he relieved, and, out of my straits, brought me forth.

18. என் சிறுமையையும் என் துன்பத்தையும் பார்த்து, என்பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும்.

18. Behold my humiliation and my pain, and take away all my sins.

19. என் சத்துருக்களைப் பாரும்; அவர்கள் பெருகியிருந்து, உக்கிர வெறுப்பாய் என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்.

19. Behold my foes, for they abound, and, with the hatred of violence, do they hate me.

20. என் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றி என்னை விடுவியும்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; உம்மிடம் அடைக்கலம் புகுந்துள்ளேன்.

20. Oh keep my soul, and rescue me, Let me not be put to shame, for I have sought refuge in thee.

21. உத்தமமும், நேர்மையும் என்னைக் காக்கட்டும்; நான் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

21. Let, blamelessness and uprightness, watch over me, because I have waited for thee.

22. தேவனே, இஸ்ரவேலை அவனுடைய எல்லா இக்கட்டுகளுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுவிடும்.
