1. "தேவன் இல்லை" என்று மதிகேடன் தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான். அவர்கள் தங்களைக்கெடுத்து, அருவருப்பான கிரியைகளைச் செய்துவருகிறார்கள்; நன்மைசெய்கிறவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.
ரோமர் 3:10-12

1. Fools say to themselves, 'There is no God.' Fools are evil and do terrible things; there is no one who does anything good.

2. தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று பார்க்க, கர்த்தர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரைக் கண்ணோக்கினார்.

2. The Lord looked down from heaven on all people to see if anyone understood, if anyone was looking to God for help.

3. எல்லாரும் வழிவிலகி, ஏகமாய்க் கெட்டுப்போனார்கள்; நன்மை செய்கிறவன் இல்லை, ஒருவனாகிலும் இல்லை.

3. But all have turned away. Together, everyone has become evil. There is no one who does anything good, not even one.

4. அக்கிரமக்காரரில் ஒருவனுக்கும் அறிவு இல்லையோ? அப்பத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறதுபோல, என் ஜனத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறார்களே; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறதில்லை.

4. Don't the wicked understand? They destroy my people as if they were eating bread. They do not ask the Lord for help.

5. அங்கே அவர்கள் மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்; தேவன் நீதிமானுடைய சந்ததியோடே இருக்கிறாரே.

5. But the wicked are filled with terror, because God is with those who do what is right.

6. சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிறார் என்பதால், நீங்கள் அவனுடைய ஆலோசனையை அலட்சியம்பண்ணினீர்கள்.

6. The wicked upset the plans of the poor, but the Lord will protect them.

7. சீயோனிலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு வருவதாக; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பும்போது, யாக்கோபுக்குக் களிப்பும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியும் உண்டாகும்.

7. I pray that victory will come to Israel from Mount Zion! May the Lord bring them back. Then the people of Jacob will rejoice, and the people of Israel will be glad. A psalm of David.
