1. பின்பு தாவீது ராஜா சபையார் எல்லாரையும் நோக்கி: தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்ட என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் இன்னும் வாலிபனும் இளைஞனுமாயிருக்கிறான்; செய்யவேண்டிய வேலையோ பெரியது; அது ஒரு மனுஷனுக்கு அல்ல, தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குக் கட்டும் அரமனை.

1. And Dauid the king saide vnto all the congregation: God hath specially chosen Solomon my sonne which is yet young & tender, & the worke is great: for the house shall not be for man, but for the Lorde God.

2. நான் என்னாலே இயன்றமட்டும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கென்று பொன் வேலைக்குப் பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி வேலைக்கு வெள்ளியையும், வெண்கல வேலைக்கு வெண்கலத்தையும், இரும்பு வேலைக்கு இரும்பையும், மரவேலைக்கு மரத்தையும், பதிக்கப்படத்தக்க காந்தியுள்ள கற்களையும், பலவருணக் கற்களையும், விலையேறப்பெற்ற சகலவித ரத்தினங்களையும், வெண்கற்பாளங்களையும், கோமேதகம் முதலிய கற்களையும் ஏராளமாகச் சவதரித்தேன்.

2. Moreouer, I haue prepared with all my might for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, siluer for them of siluer, brasse for thinges of brasse, iron for thinges of iron, & wood for thynges of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of diuers colours, & al maner of precious stones, & marble stones in great aboundaunce.

3. இன்னும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின்மேல் நான் வைத்திருக்கிற வாஞ்சையினால், பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்துக்காக நான் சவதரித்த அனைத்தையும் தவிர, எனக்குச் சொந்தமான பொன்னையும் வெள்ளியையும் என் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கென்று கொடுக்கிறேன்.

3. And because I haue lust to the house of my God, I haue of myne owne proper good of golde and siluer which I haue geuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the holy house,

4. அறைகளின் சுவர்களை மூடுவதற்காகவும். பொன்வேலைக்குப் பொன்னும், வெள்ளிவேலைக்கு வெள்ளியும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதற்காகவும், கம்மாளர் செய்யும் வேலை அனைத்திற்காகவும், ஓப்பீரின் தங்கமாகிய மூவாயிரம் தாலந்து தங்கத்தையும், சுத்த வெள்ளியாகிய ஏழாயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும் கொடுக்கிறேன்.

4. Euen three thousand talentes of golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talentes of tried siluer, to ouer laye the walles of the house withall.

5. இப்போதும் உங்களில் இன்றையதினம் கர்த்தருக்குத் தன் கைக்காணிக்கைகளைச் செலுத்த மனபூர்வமானவர்கள் யார் என்றான்.

5. The golde for thinges of golde, siluer for them of siluer, and for all maner of worke by the handes of artificers: And whosoeuer is wylling, may this day consecrate his hande vnto the Lorde.

6. அப்பொழுது வம்சங்களின் பிரபுக்களும், இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களின் பிரபுக்களும், ஆயிரம் பேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், ராஜாவின் வேலைக்காரராகிய பிரபுக்களும் மனப்பூர்வமாய்,

6. And so the auncient fathers and the lordes of the tribes of Israel, the captaynes of thousandes and hundredes, with the lordes that were rulers ouer the kinges worke, were willing,

7. தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்து வேலைக்கு ஐயாயிரம் தாலந்து பொன்னையும், பதினாயிரம் தங்கக்காசையும், பதினாயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும், பதிணெண்ணாயிரம் தாலந்து வெண்கலத்தையும், லட்சம் தாலந்து இரும்பையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

7. And gaue for the seruice of the house of God, fiue thousand talentes of golde, and ten thousand peeces [of golde,] and ten thousand talentes of siluer, & eyghtteene thousand talentes of brasse, and one hundred thousand talentes of iron.

8. யார் கையில் ரத்தினங்கள் இருந்ததோ, அவர்கள் அவைகளையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துப் பொக்கிஷத்திற்கென்று கெர்சோனியனான யெகியேலின் கையிலே கொடுத்தார்கள்.

8. And they with whom precious stones were founde, gaue them to the treasure of the house of the Lord by the hand of Iehiel the Gersonite.

9. இப்படி மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுத்ததற்காக ஜனங்கள் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள்; உத்தம இருதயத்தோடே உற்சாகமாய்க் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; தாவீது ராஜாவும் மிகவும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டான்.

9. And the people reioyced when they were so wylling to geue their goodes, and with a perfect heart they offered wyllingly to the Lord: And Dauid the king reioyced with great gladnesse.

10. ஆகையால் தாவீது சபை அனைத்தின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்திச் சொன்னது: எங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, சதாகாலங்களிலும் தேவரீருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் உண்டாவதாக.

10. And Dauid blessed the Lorde before all the congregation, and sayde: Blessed be thou Lorde God of Israel, our father from euer and for euer.

11. கர்த்தாவே, மாட்சிமையும் வல்லமையும் மகிமையும் ஜெயமும் மகத்துவமும் உம்முடையவைகள்; வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும் உள்ளவைகளெல்லாம் உம்முடையவைகள்; கர்த்தாவே, ராஜ்யமும் உம்முடையது; தேவரீர், எல்லாருக்கும் தலைவராய் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறீர்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 5:12

11. Thyne O Lorde is greatnesse, and power, glory, victorie, and prayse: for all that is in heauen and in earth is thyne, and thyne is the kingdome O Lorde, and thou excellest aboue all, euen as the head of all.

12. ஐசுவரியமும் கனமும் உம்மாலே வருகிறது; தேவரீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் ஆளுகிறவர்; உம்முடைய கரத்திலே சத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் உண்டு; எவரையும் மேன்மைப்படுத்தவும் பலப்படுத்தவும் உம்முடைய கரத்தினால் ஆகும்.

12. And richesse and honour come of thee, and thou raignest ouer all, and in thyne hande is power & strength, and in thyne hand it is to make great and to geue strength vnto all.

13. இப்போதும் எங்கள் தேவனே, நாங்கள் உமக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்தி, உமது மகிமையுள்ள நாமத்தைத் துதிக்கிறோம்.

13. And nowe our God we thanke thee, and prayse thy glorious name.

14. இப்படி மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுக்கும் திராணி உண்டாவதற்கு நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? என் ஜனங்கள் எம்மாத்திரம்? எல்லாம் உம்மால் உண்டானது; உமது கரத்திலே வாங்கி உமக்குக் கொடுத்தோம்.

14. But who am I? and what is my people? that we should enforce our selues to geue these thinges so willingly? But all thinges come of thee, & of that which we receaued at thyne hand, we haue geuen thee.

15. உமக்கு முன்பாக நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய பிதாக்கள் எல்லாரைப்போலும் அரதேசிகளும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருக்கிறோம்; பூமியின்மேல் எங்கள் நாட்கள் ஒரு நிழலைப்போல இருக்கிறது; நிலைத்திருப்போம் என்னும் நம்பிக்கையில்லை.

15. For we be but straungers before thee, and soiourners, as were al our fathers: Our dayes on the earth also are but as a shadowe, and there is none abiding.

16. எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்திற்கென்று உமக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுகிறதற்கு, நாங்கள் சவதரித்திருக்கிற இந்தப் பொருள்கள் எல்லாம் உமது கரத்திலிருந்து வந்தது; எல்லாம் உம்முடையது.

16. O Lorde our God, all this stuffe that we haue prepared to builde thee an house for thy holy name, commeth of thyne hand, and is all thyne.

17. என் தேவனே, நீர் இருதயத்தைச் சோதித்து, உத்தம குணத்தில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறீர் என்பதை அறிவேன்; இவையெல்லாம் நான் உத்தம இருதயத்தோடே மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுத்தேன்; இப்பொழுது இங்கேயிருக்கிற உம்முடைய ஜனமும் உமக்கு மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷித்தேன்.

17. I wot also my God that thou tryest the heartes, and hast pleasure in vnfaynednesse, & in the vnfaonednesse of myne heart I haue wyllingly offered al these thinges: And now haue I seene thy people which are founde here to offer vnto thee wyllyngly, and with gladnesse.

18. ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் என்னும் எங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனத்தின் இருதயத்தில் உண்டான இந்தச் சிந்தையையும் நினைவையும் என்றைக்கும் காத்து, அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை உமக்கு நேராக்கியருளும்.

18. O Lorde God of Abraham, Isahac, and of Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the desire of the thoughtes of the heart of thy people, & prepare their heartes vnto thee.

19. என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையும் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளையும், உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும், இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்து, நான் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணின இந்த அரமனையைக் கட்டும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கு உத்தம இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும் என்றான்.

19. And geue vnto Solomon my sonne a perfect heart, to keepe thy commaundementes, thy testimonies, & thy statutes, and to do all, and builde the house, for the which I haue made prouision.

20. அதின்பின்பு தாவீது சபை அனைத்தையும் நோக்கி: இப்போது உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்தரியுங்கள் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சபையார் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்தரித்து, தலை குனிந்து கர்த்தரையும் ராஜாவையும் பணிந்துகொண்டு,

20. And Dauid saide to all the congregation: Now blesse the Lorde your God. And all the congregation blessed the Lorde God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heades, and worshipped the Lorde and the king.

21. கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிட்டு, மறுநாளிலே சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளாக ஆயிரம் காளைகளையும், ஆயிரம் ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், ஆயிரம் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், அவைகளுக்கடுத்த பானபலிகளையும் இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்திற்காகவும் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தினார்கள்.

21. And they offered offringes vnto the Lorde: And on the morowe after the saide day, they offred burnt offringes vnto the Lorde, euen a thousand young oxen, a thousand rammes, and a thousand sheepe, with their drinke offrings: Many sacrifices offred they for all Israel,

22. அவர்கள் அன்றையதினம் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தோடே கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகப் போஜனபானம்பண்ணி, தாவீதின் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனை இரண்டாம் விசை ராஜாவாக்கி, கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அவனை அதிபதியாகவும், சாதோக்கை ஆசாரியனாகவும் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

22. And did eate & drinke before the Lord the same day with great gladnesse: And they made Solomon the sonne of Dauid king the second time, and annoynted him prince before the Lorde, and Zadoc to be the hie priest.

23. அப்படியே சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் ஸ்தானத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய சிங்காசனத்தில் ராஜாவாய் வீற்றிருந்து பாக்கியசாலியாயிருந்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருந்தார்கள்.

23. And Solomon sate on the seate of the Lorde, and was king in steade of Dauid his father, and prospered: and all they of Israel obeyed him.

24. சகல பிரபுக்களும் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும் தாவீது ராஜாவினுடைய சகல குமாரருங்கூட ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு அடங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.

24. And all the lordes and men of power, and all the sonnes of king Dauid, submitted them selues, & were vnder king Solomon.

25. இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் காணக் கர்த்தர் சாலொமோனை மிகவும் பெரியவனாக்கி, அவனுக்கு முன்னே இஸ்ரவேலில் ராஜாவான ஒருவனுக்கும் இல்லாதிருந்த ராஜரிக மகத்துவத்தை அவனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

25. And the Lorde magnified Solomon in dignitie in the sight of all them of Israel, and gaue him so glorious a kingdome, as no king had before him in Israel.

26. இவ்விதமாய் ஈசாயின் குமாரனாகிய தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்துக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான்.

26. And so Dauid the sonne of Isai raigned ouer all Israel.

27. அவன் இஸ்ரவேலை அரசாண்ட நாட்கள் நாற்பது வருஷம்; எப்ரோனிலே ஏழு வருஷமும், எருசலேமிலே முப்பத்துமூன்று வருஷமும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான்.

27. And the space that he raigned ouer Israel, was fouretie yeres: Seuen yeres raigned he in Hebron, and thirtie and three yeres raigned he in Hierusalem.

28. அவன் தீர்க்காயுசும் ஐசுவரியமும் மகிமையுமுள்ளவனாய், நல்ல முதிர்வயதிலே மரணமடைந்தபின், அவன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே அரசாண்டான்.

28. And he dyed in a good age, ful of dayes, riches, and honour: and Solomon his sonne raigned in his steade.

29. தாவீது ராஜாவினுடைய ஆதியோடந்தமான நடபடிகளும், அவன் அரசாண்ட விபரமும், அவனுடைய வல்லமையும், அவனுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கும், அந்தந்த தேசங்களின் ராஜ்யங்கள் அனைத்துக்கும் நடந்த காலசம்பவங்களும்,

29. The actes of Dauid the king first and last, beholde they are written in the booke of Samuel the sear, and in the booke of Nathan the prophete, and in the booke of Gad the sear:

30. ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய சாமுவேலின் பிரபந்தத்திலும், தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானின் பிரபந்தத்திலும், ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய காத்தின் பிரபந்தத்திலும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

30. With all his kingdome, and power, and times, that went ouer him, & ouer all Israel, and ouer all the kingdomes of the earth.
