1. கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

2. சபையைக் கூடிவரவழைப்பதற்கும் பாளயங்களைப் பிரயாணப்படுத்துவதற்கும் உபயோகமாக இரண்டு வெள்ளிப்பூரிகைகளைச் செய்துகொள்வாயாக; அவைகள் ஒரே வெள்ளித்தகட்டால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

2. Make thee two trumpets of siluer: of an whole piece shalt thou make the, that thou mayest vse them for the assembling of the Congregation, and for the departure of the campe.

3. அவைகளை ஊதும்போது, சபையார் எல்லாரும் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரவாசலில் உன்னிடத்தில் கூடிவரவேண்டும்.

3. And when they shall blowe with them, all the Congregation shall assemble to thee before the doore of the Tabernacle of the Cogregation.

4. ஒன்றைமாத்திரம் ஊதினால் இஸ்ரவேலில் ஆயிரவர்களுக்குத் தலைவராகிய பிரபுக்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் கூடிவரக்கடவர்கள்.

4. But if they blowe with one, then the princes, or heades ouer the thousandes of Israel shall come vnto thee.

5. நீங்கள் அவைகளைப் பெருந்தொனியாய் முழக்கும்போது, கிழக்கே இறங்கியிருக்கிற பாளயங்கள் பிரயாணப்படக்கடவது.

5. But if ye blow an alarme, then the campe of the that pitch on the East part, shall go forward.

6. அவைகளை நீங்கள் இரண்டாந்தரம் பெருந்தொனியாய் முழக்கும்போது, தெற்கே இறங்கியிருக்கிற பாளயங்கள் பிரயாணப்படக்கடவது; அவர்களைப் பிரயாணப்படுத்துவதற்குப் பெருந்தொனியாய் முழக்கவேண்டும்.

6. If ye blowe an alarme the second time, then the hoste of them that lie on the Southside shall march: for they shall blowe an alarme when they remoue.

7. சபையைக் கூட்டுகிறதற்கு நீங்கள் ஊதவேண்டியதேயன்றி பெருந்தொனியாய் முழக்கவேண்டாம்.

7. But in assembling the Congregation, ye shall blowe without an alarme.

8. ஆரோனின் குமாரராகிய ஆசாரியர் பூரிகைகளை ஊதக்கடவர்கள்; உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் இது உங்களுக்கு நித்திய கட்டளையாயிருக்கக்கடவது.

8. And the sonnes of Aaron the Priest shall blowe the trumpets, and ye shall haue them as a lawe for euer in your generations.

9. உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உங்களைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிற சத்துருவுக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தத்துக்குப் போகும்போது, பூரிகைகளைப் பெருந்தொனியாய் முழக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சமூகத்திலே நீங்கள் நினைவுகூரப்பட்டு, உங்கள் பகைஞருக்கு நீங்கலாகி இரட்சிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

9. And when ye goe to warre in your lande against the enemie that vexeth you, ye shall blowe an alarme with the trumpets, and ye shall bee remembred before the Lord your God, and shalbe saued from your enemies.

10. உங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியின் நாளிலும், உங்கள் பண்டிகைகளிலும், மாதப்பிறப்புகளிலும், உங்கள் சர்வாங்கதகனபலிகளும் சமாதானபலிகளும் செலுத்தப்படும்போது பூரிகைகளை ஊதவேண்டும்; அப்பொழுது அவைகள் உங்கள் தேவனுடைய சமூகத்தில் உங்களுக்கு ஞாபகக்குறியாயிருக்கும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

10. Also in the day of your gladnesse, and in your feast dayes, and in the beginning of your moneths, ye shall also blow the trumpets ouer your burnt sacrifices, and ouer your peace offrings, that they may be a remembrance for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.

11. இரண்டாம் வருஷம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் இருபதாம் தேதியில் மேகம் சாட்சியினுடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தின் மீதிலிருந்து உயர எழும்பிற்று.

11. And in the seconde yeere, in the seconde moneth, and in the twentieth day of the moneth the cloude was taken vp from the Tabernacle of the Testimonie.

12. அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலிருந்து தங்கள் பிரயாண வரிசைகளாய்ப் புறப்பட்டார்கள்; மேகம் பாரான் வனாந்தரத்தில் தங்கிற்று.

12. And ye children of Israel departed on their iourneys out of the desart of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wildernesse of Paran.

13. இப்படியே கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக் கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டபடி முதல் பிரயாணம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

13. So they first tooke their iourney at the comandement of the Lord, by ye hand of Moses.

14. யூதா சந்ததியாருடைய பாளயத்தின் கொடி அவர்கள் சேனைகளோடே முதல் புறப்பட்டது; அவனுடைய சேனைக்கு அம்மினதாபின் குமாரன் நகசோன் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

14. In the first place went the standerd of the hoste of the children of Iudah, according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminabad was ouer his band.

15. இசக்கார் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்குச் சூவாரின் குமாரன் நெதனெயேல் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

15. And ouer the band of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel ye sonne of Zuar.

16. செபுலோன் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்கு ஏலோனின் குமாரன் எலியாப் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

16. And ouer the band of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the sonne of Helon.

17. அப்பொழுது வாசஸ்தலம் இறக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது; அதைக் கெர்சோன் புத்திரரும் மெராரி புத்திரரும் சுமந்துகொண்டு புறப்பட்டார்கள்.

17. When the Tabernacle was taken downe, then the sonnes of Gershon, and the sonnes of Merari went forward bearing the Tabernacle.

18. அதற்குப்பின்பு ரூபன் சந்ததியாருடைய பாளயத்தின் கொடி அவர்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்பட்டது; அவனுடைய சேனைக்குச் சேதேயூரின் குமாரன் எலிசூர் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

18. After, departed the standerd of the hoste of Reuben, according to their armies, and ouer his band was Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.

19. சிமியோன் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்குச் சூரிஷதாயின் குமாரன் செலூமியேல் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

19. And ouer the band of the tribe of ye children of Simeon was Shelumiel the sonne of Shurishaddai.

20. காத் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்குத் தேகுவேலின் குமாரன் எலியாசாப் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

20. And ouer the bande of the tribe of ye children of Gad was Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel.

21. கோகாத்தியர் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு புறப்பட்டார்கள்; இவர்கள் வந்து சேருமுன் மற்றவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஸ்தாபனம்பண்ணுவார்கள்.

21. The Kohathites also went forward and bare the Sanctuarie, and the former did set vp the Tabernacle against they came.

22. அதற்குப்பின்பு, எப்பிராயீம் சந்ததியாருடைய பாளயத்தின் கொடி அவர்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்பட்டது; அவனுடைய சேனைக்கு அம்மியூதின் குமாரன் எலிஷாமா தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

22. Then the standerd of the hoste of the children of Ephraim went forward according to their armies, and ouer his bande was Elishama the sonne of Ammiud.

23. மனாசே சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்குப் பெதாசூரின் குமாரன் கமாலியேல் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

23. And ouer the band of the tribe of ye sonnes of Manasseh was Gamliel the sonne of Pedazur.

24. பென்யமீன் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்குக் கீதெயோனின் குமாரன் அபீதான் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

24. And ouer the band of ye tribe of the sonnes of Beniamin was Abidan the sonne of Gideoni.

25. அதற்குப்பின்பு, தாண் சந்ததியாருடைய பாளயத்தின் கொடி சகல பாளயங்களுக்கும் பின்னாக அவர்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்பட்டது; அவனுடைய சேனைக்கு அம்மிஷதாயின் குமாரன் அகியேசேர் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

25. Last, the standerd of the hoste of the children of Dan marched, gathering all ye hostes according to their armies: and ouer his bande was Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai.

26. ஆசேர் சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்கு ஓகிரானின் குமாரன் பாகியேல் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

26. And ouer the bande of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.

27. நப்தலி சந்ததியாருடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சேனைக்கு ஏனானின் குமாரன் அகீரா தலைவனாயிருந்தான்.

27. And ouer the bande of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira ye sonne of Enan.

28. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் புறப்பட்டபோது, இவ்விதமாய்த் தங்கள் தங்கள் சேனைகளின்படியே பிரயாணம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

28. These were the remouings of the children of Israel according to their armies, whe they marched.

29. அப்பொழுது மோசே தன் மாமனாகிய ரெகுவேல் என்னும் மீதியானனுடைய குமாரனான ஓபாவை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குத் தருவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொன்ன ஸ்தலத்துக்கு நாங்கள் பிரயாணம் போகிறோம்; நீயும் எங்களோடே கூட வா, உனக்கு நன்மைசெய்வோம்; கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நல்ல வாக்குத்தத்தம் பண்ணியிருக்கிறார் என்றான்.

29. After, Moses said vnto Hobab ye sonne of Reuel the Midianite, ye father in law of Moses, We go into the place, of which ye Lord said, I will giue it you: Come thou with vs, and we wil doe thee good: for ye Lord hath promised good vnto Israel.

30. அதற்கு அவன்: நான் வரக்கூடாது; என் தேசத்துக்கும் என் இனத்தாரிடத்துக்கும் போகவேண்டும் என்றான்.

30. And he answered him, I will not goe: but I will depart to mine owne countrey, and to my kindred.

31. அப்பொழுது மோசே: நீ எங்களை விட்டுப் போகவேண்டாம்; வனாந்தரத்திலே நாங்கள் பாளயமிறங்கும் இடங்களை நீ அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியினால், எங்களுக்குக் கண்களைப்போல இருப்பாய்.

31. Then he sayd, I pray thee, leaue vs not: for thou knowest our camping places in the wildernesse: therefore thou mayest be our guide.

32. நீ எங்களோடேகூட வந்தால், கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குச் செய்தருளும் நன்மையின்படியே உனக்கும் நன்மைசெய்வோம் என்றான்.

32. And if thou go with vs, what goodnes the Lord shall shew vnto vs, the same will we shewe vnto thee.

33. அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய பர்வதத்தைவிட்டு, மூன்றுநாள் பிரயாணம் போனார்கள்; மூன்றுநாள் பிரயாணத்திலும் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி அவர்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறும் ஸ்தலத்தைத் தேடிக் காட்டும்படிக்கு அவர்கள் முன் சென்றது.

33. So they departed from the mount of the Lord, three dayes iourney: and the Arke of the couenant of the Lord went before them in the three dayes iourney, to searche out a resting place for them.

34. அவர்கள் பாளயத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணம் போகிறபோது, கர்த்தருடைய மேகம் பகலில் அவர்கள்மேல் தங்கியிருந்தது.

34. And the cloude of the Lord was vpon the by day, when they went out of the campe.

35. பெட்டியானது புறப்படும்போது, மோசே: கர்த்தாவே, எழுந்தருளும், உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறடிக்கப்படுவார்களாக; உம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் உமக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்களாக என்பான்.

35. And when the Arke went forwarde, Moses saide, Rise vp, Lord, and let thine enemies bee scattered, and let them that hate thee, flee before thee.

36. அது தங்கும்போது: கர்த்தாவே, அநேக ஆயிரவர்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலரிடத்தில் திரும்புவீராக என்று சொல்லுவான.

36. And when it rested, hee sayde, Returne, O Lord, to the many thousands of Israel.
