1. கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: முந்தின கற்பலகைகளுக்கு ஒத்த இரண்டு கற்பலகைகளை இழைத்துக்கொள்; நீ உடைத்துப்போட்ட முந்தின பலகைகளில் இருந்த வார்த்தைகளை அவைகளில் எழுதுவேன்.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:3

1. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;

2. விடியற்காலத்தில் நீ ஆயத்தமாகி, சீனாய் மலையில் ஏறி, அங்கே மலையின் உச்சியில் காலமே என் சமுகத்தில் வந்து நில்.

2. and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,

3. உன்னோடே ஒருவனும் அங்கே வரக்கூடாது; மலையிலெங்கும் ஒருவனும் காணப்படவுங்கூடாது; இந்த மலையின் சமீபத்தில் ஆடுமாடு மேயவுங்கூடாது என்றார்.

3. and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.'

4. அப்பொழுது மோசே முந்தின கற்பலகைகளுக்கு ஒத்த இரண்டு கற்பலகைகளை இழைத்து, அதிகாலமே எழுந்திருந்து, கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அவ்விரண்டு கற்பலகைகளையும் தன் கையிலே எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, சீனாய் மலையில் ஏறினான்.

4. And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.

5. கர்த்தர் ஒரு மேகத்தில் இறங்கி, அங்கே அவன் அருகே நின்று, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக் கூறினார்.

5. And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,

6. கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கடந்துபோகிறபோது, அவர்: கர்த்தர், கர்த்தர்; இரக்கமும், கிருபையும், நீடிய சாந்தமும், மகா தயையும், சத்தியமுமுள்ள தேவன்.

6. and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: 'Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,

7. ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைகளுக்கு இரக்கத்தைக் காக்கிறவர்; அக்கிரமத்தையும் மீறுதலையும் பாவத்தையும் மன்னிக்கிறவர்; குற்றவாளியைக் குற்றமற்றவனாக விடாமல், பிதாக்கள் செய்த அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்திலும், பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகளிடத்திலும் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவர் என்று கூறினார்.

7. keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on children, and on children's children, on a third [generation], and on a fourth.'

8. மோசே தீவிரமாகத் தரைமட்டும் குனிந்து பணிந்துகொண்டு:

8. And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,

9. ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய கண்களில் எனக்குக் கிருபை கிடைத்ததானால், எங்கள் நடுவில் ஆண்டவர் எழுந்தருளவேண்டும்; இந்த ஜனங்கள் வணங்காக்கழுத்துள்ளவர்கள்; நீரோ, எங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தையும் எங்கள் பாவத்தையும் மன்னித்து, எங்களை உமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் என்றான்.

9. and saith, 'If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.'

10. அதற்கு அவர்: இதோ, நான் ஒரு உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணுகிறேன்; பூமியெங்கும் எந்த ஜாதிகளிடத்திலும் செய்யப்படாத அதிசயங்களை உன் ஜனங்கள் எல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும் செய்வேன்; உன்னோடேகூட இருக்கிற ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் கர்த்தருடைய செய்கையைக் காண்பார்கள்; உன்னோடேகூட இருந்து, நான் செய்யும் காரியம் பயங்கரமாயிருக்கும்.

10. And He saith, 'Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou [art] have seen the work of Jehovah, for it [is] fearful that which I am doing with thee.

11. இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறதைக் கைக்கொள்; எமோரியனையும், கானானியனையும், ஏத்தியனையும், பெரிசியனையும், ஏவியனையும், எபூசியனையும் உனக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுகிறேன்.

11. 'Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;

12. நீ போய்ச் சேருகிற தேசத்தின் குடிகளோடு உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு; பண்ணினால் அது உன் நடுவில் கண்ணியாயிருக்கும்.

12. take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;

13. அவர்களுடைய பலிபீடங்களை இடித்து, அவர்கள் சிலைகளைத் தகர்த்து, அவர்கள் தோப்புகளை வெட்டிப்போடுங்கள்.

13. for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;

14. கர்த்தருடைய நாமம் எரிச்சலுள்ளவர் என்பது, அவர் எரிச்சலுள்ள தேவனே; ஆகையால், அந்நிய தேவனை நீ பணிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டாம்.

14. for ye do not bow yourselves to another god -- for Jehovah, whose name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.

15. அந்தத் தேசத்தின் குடிகளோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணுவாயானால், அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேவர்களைச் சோரமார்க்கமாய்ப் பின்பற்றி, தங்களுடைய தேவர்களுக்குப் பலியிடுவார்கள்; ஒருவன் உன்னை அழைக்கையில், நீ போய், அவன் பலியிட்டதிலே புசிப்பாய்;

15. 'Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,

16. அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகளில் உன் குமாரருக்குப் பெண்களைக் கொள்ளுவாய்; அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகள் தங்கள் தேவர்களைச் சோரமார்க்கமாய்ப் பின்பற்றுவதும் அல்லாமல், உன் குமாரரையும் தங்கள் தேவர்களைச் சோரமார்க்கமாய்ப் பின்பற்றும்படி செய்வார்கள்.

16. and thou hast taken of their daughters to thy sons, and their daughters have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have caused thy sons to go a-whoring after their gods;

17. வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட தெய்வங்களை உங்களுக்கு உண்டாக்கவேண்டாம்.

17. a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.

18. புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகையை நீங்கள் கைக்கொண்டு, நான் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, ஆபீப் மாதத்தில் குறித்த காலத்திலே ஏழுநாள் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் புசிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; ஆபீப் மாதத்திலே எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டாயே.

18. 'The feast of unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at an appointed time, the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.

19. கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிற யாவும், உன் ஆடுமாடுகளின் தலையீற்றான ஆண்கள் யாவும் என்னுடையவைகள்.

19. 'All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;

20. கழுதையின் தலையீற்றை ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியால் மீட்டுக்கொள்வாயாக; அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தால் அதின் கழுத்தை முறித்துப்போடு; உன் பிள்ளைகளில் முதற்பேறானவைகளையெல்லாம் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். வெறுங்கையோடே என் சந்நிதியில் ஒருவனும் வரக்கூடாது.

20. and the firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb; and if thou dost not ransom, then thou hast beheaded it; every first-born of thy sons thou dost ransom, and they do not appear before Me empty.

21. ஆறுநாள் வேலைசெய்து, ஏழாம் நாளிலே ஓய்ந்திருப்பாயாக; விதைப்புக் காலத்திலும் அறுப்புக் காலத்திலும் ஓய்ந்திருப்பாயாக.

21. 'Six days thou dost work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest; in ploughing-time and in harvest thou dost rest.

22. கோதுமை அறுப்பின் முதற்பலனைச் செலுத்தும் ஏழு வாரங்களின் பண்டிகையையும், வருஷமுடிவிலே சேர்ப்புக்கால பண்டிகையையும் ஆசரிப்பாயாக.

22. 'And a feast of weeks thou dost observe for thyself; first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the feast of in-gathering, at the revolution of the year.

23. வருஷத்தில் மூன்றுதரம் உங்கள் ஆண்மக்கள் எல்லாரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரின் சந்நிதியில் வரக்கடவர்கள்.

23. 'Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel;

24. நான் புறஜாதிகளை உங்கள் முன்னின்று துரத்திவிட்டு, உங்கள் எல்லைகளை விஸ்தாரமாக்குவேன்; வருஷத்தில் மூன்றுதரம் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதிக்கு முன்பாகக் காணப்படப் போயிருக்கும்போது ஒருவரும் உங்கள் தேசத்தை இச்சிப்பதில்லை.

24. for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.

25. எனக்கு இடும் பலியின் இரத்தத்தைப் புளித்தமாவுடன் செலுத்தவேண்டாம்; பஸ்கா பண்டிகையின் பலியை விடியற்காலம்வரைக்கும் வைக்கவும் வேண்டாம்.

25. 'Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:

26. உங்கள் நிலத்தில் முதல் முதல் விளைந்த முதற்பலத்தை உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவாருங்கள். வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியை அதின் தாயின் பாலிலே சமைக்கவேண்டாம் என்றார்.

26. the first of the first-fruits of the land thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother's milk.'

27. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: இந்த வார்த்தைகளை நீ எழுது; இந்த வார்த்தைகளின்படியே உன்னோடும் இஸ்ரவேலோடும் உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணினேன் என்றார்.

27. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.'

28. அங்கே அவன் அப்பம் புசியாமலும் தண்ணீர் குடியாமலும் இரவும் பகலும் நாற்பதுநாள் கர்த்தரோடே இருந்தான்; அவன் பத்துக்கற்பனைகளாகிய உடன்படிக்கையின் வார்த்தைகளைப் பலகைகளில் எழுதினான்.
மத்தேயு 4:2, யோவான் 1:17

28. And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant -- the ten matters.

29. மோசே சாட்சிப் பலகைகள் இரண்டையும் தன் கையில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, சீனாய் மலையிலிருந்து இறங்குகிறபோது, தன்னோடே அவர் பேசினதினாலே தன் முகம் பிரகாசித்திருப்பதை அவன் அறியாதிருந்தான்.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:7-10

29. And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,

30. ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரும் மோசேயைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அவன் முகம் பிரகாசித்திருப்பதைக் கண்டு, அவன் சமீபத்தில் சேரப்பயந்தார்கள்.

30. and Aaron seeth -- all the sons of Israel also -- Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.

31. மோசே அவர்களை அழைத்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஆரோனும் சபையிலுள்ள பிரபுக்கள் யாவரும் அவனிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பி வந்தார்கள்; மோசே அவர்களோடே பேசினான்.

31. And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;

32. பின்பு இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரும் அவனிடத்தில் சேர்ந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவன் சீனாய் மலையில் கர்த்தர் தன்னோடே பேசினவைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தான்.

32. and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.

33. மோசே அவர்களோடே பேசி முடியுமளவும், தன் முகத்தின்மேல் முக்காடு போட்டிருந்தான்.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:13

33. And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;

34. மோசே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அவரோடே பேசும்படிக்கு உட்பிரவேசித்ததுமுதல் வெளியே புறப்படும்மட்டும் முக்காடு போடாதிருந்தான்; அவன் வெளியே வந்து தனக்குக் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டதை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லும்போது,
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:7-16

34. and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;

35. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அவன் முகம் பிரகாசித்திருப்பதைக் கண்டார்கள். மோசே அவரோடே பேசும்படிக்கு உள்ளே பிரவேசிக்கும்வரைக்கும், முக்காட்டைத் திரும்பத் தன் முகத்தின்மேல் போட்டுக்கொள்ளுவான்.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:13

35. and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
