1. அவர் அஸ்திபாரம் பரிசுத்த பர்வதங்களில் இருக்கிறது.

2. கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபின் வாசஸ்தலங்களெல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் சீயோனின் வாசல்களில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.

2. LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3. தேவனுடைய நகரமே! உன்னைக் குறித்து மகிமையான விசேஷங்கள் வசனிக்கப்படும். (சேலா)

3. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

4. என்னை அறிந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே ராகாபையும் பாபிலோனையும் குறித்துப் பேசுவேன்; இதோ, பெலிஸ்தியரிலும், தீரியரிலும், எத்தியோப்பியரிலுங்கூட, இன்னான் அங்கே பிறந்தான் என்றும்;

4. I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among those who know me. Behold, Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This man was born there.

5. சீயோனைக் குறித்து, இன்னான் இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தானென்றும் சொல்லப்படும்; உன்னதமானவர் தாமே அதை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்.

5. Yea, of Zion it shall be said, this and that man was born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.

6. கர்த்தர் ஜனங்களைப் பேரெழுதும்போது, இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தான் என்று அவர்களைத் தொகையிடுவார். (சேலா)

6. LORD will count when he writes up the peoples: This man was born there. Selah.

7. எங்கள் ஊற்றுகளெல்லாம் உன்னில் இருக்கிறது என்று பாடுவாரும் ஆடுவாரும் ஏகமாய்ச் சொல்லுவார்கள்.

7. Those who sing as well as those who dance shall say, All my fountains are in thee.
