1. யூதாவில் தேவன் அறியப்பட்டவர்; இஸ்ரவேலில் அவருடைய நாமம் பெரியது.

2. சாலேமில் அவருடைய கூடாரமும், சீயோனில் அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலமும் இருக்கிறது.

2. For in Shalem is his Tabernacle, and his dwelling in Zion.

3. அங்கேயிருந்து வில்லின் அம்புகளையும், கேடகத்தையும், பட்டயத்தையும், யுத்தத்தையும் முறித்தார். (சேலா)

3. There brake he the arrowes of the bowe, the shielde and the sword and the battell. Selah.

4. மகத்துவமுள்ளவரே, கொள்ளையுள்ள பர்வதங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீர் பிரகாசமுள்ளவர்.

4. Thou art more bright and puissant, then the mountaines of pray.

5. தைரிய நெஞ்சுள்ளவர்கள் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டு, நித்திரையடைந்து அசந்தார்கள்; வல்லமையுள்ள எல்லா மனுஷருடைய கைகளும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவாமற்போயிற்று.

5. The stout hearted are spoyled: they haue slept their sleepe, and all the men of strength haue not found their hands.

6. யாக்கோபின் தேவனே, உம்முடைய கண்டிதத்தினால் இரதங்களும் குதிரைகளும் உறங்கி விழுந்தது.

6. At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe.

7. நீர், நீரே, பயங்கரமானவர்; உமது கோபம் மூளும்போது உமக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

7. Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!

8. நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும் பூமியில் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் யாவரையும் இரட்சிக்கவும், தேவரீர் எழுந்தருளினபோது,

8. Thou didest cause thy iudgement to bee heard from heauen: therefore the earth feared and was still,

9. வானத்திலிருந்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக் கேட்கப்பண்ணினீர்; பூமி பயந்து அமர்ந்தது. (சேலா)

9. When thou, O God, arose to iudgement, to helpe all the meeke of the earth. Selah.

10. மனுஷனுடைய கோபம் உமது மகிமையை விளங்கப்பண்ணும்; மிஞ்சுங்கோபத்தை நீர் அடக்குவீர்.

10. Surely the rage of man shall turne to thy praise: the remnant of the rage shalt thou restrayne.

11. பொருத்தனைப்பண்ணி அதை உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்; அவரைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பயங்கரமானவருக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள்.

11. Vowe and performe vnto the Lord your God, all ye that be rounde about him: let them bring presents vnto him that ought to be feared.

12. பிரபுக்களின் ஆவியை அடக்குவார்; பூமியின் ராஜாக்களுக்கு அவர் பயங்கரமானவர்.

12. He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the Kings of the earth.
