1. கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று எனக்கு அவர்கள் சொன்னபோது மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருந்தேன்.
யோவான் 4:20

1. [A song of high degrees of Dauid.] I was glad when they sayde vnto me: we wyll go into the house of God.

2. எருசலேமே, உன் வாசல்களில் எங்கள் கால்கள் நிற்கலாயிற்று.

2. Our feete shall stande in thy gates: O Hierusalem.

3. எருசலேம் இசைவிணைப்பான நகரமாய்க் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

3. Hierusalem is builded: as a citie that is well vnited together in it selfe.

4. அங்கே இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சாட்சியாகக் கர்த்தருடைய ஜனங்களாகிய கோத்திரங்கள் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பதற்குப் போகும்.

4. For the tribes do go vp thyther, euen the tribes of the Lorde: [which is] a testimonie vnto Israel for to prayse the name of God.

5. அங்கே தாவீதின் வம்சத்தாருடைய சிங்காசனங்களாகிய நியாயாசனங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

5. For there is ordeyned the seate for iudgement: euen the seate of the house of Dauid.

6. எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்துக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; உன்னை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் சுகித்திருப்பார்களாக.

6. Pray for the peace of Hierusalem: they shall prosper that loue thee.

7. உன் அலங்கத்திற்குள்ளே சமாதானமும், உன் அரமனைகளுக்குள்ளே சுகமும் இருப்பதாக.

7. Peace be within thy walles: and plenteousnesse within thy palaces.

8. என் சகோதரர் நிமித்தமும் என் சிநேகிதர் நிமித்தமும், உன்னில் சமாதானம் இருப்பதாக என்பேன்.

8. For my brethren and companions sakes: I wyll wyshe peace [to be] within thee.

9. எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம் உனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகத் தேடுவேன்.

9. Yea because of the house of God our Lord: I wyll procure to do thee good.
