1. தேவனே, என் இருதயம் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; நான் பாடிக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்; என் மகிமையும் பாடும்.

1. A song of Psalm of David. O God, my heart is ready to sing, and to give praise.

2. வீணையே, சுரமண்டலமே, விழியுங்கள், நான் அதிகாலையில் விழிப்பேன்.

2. Awake, O my glory, awake lute and harp, I myself will awake right early.

3. கர்த்தாவே, ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.

3. I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the people, I will sing praises unto thee among the Heathen.

4. உமது கிருபை வானங்களுக்கு மேலாகவும், உமது சத்தியம் மேகமண்டலங்கள் பரியந்தமும் எட்டுகிறது.

4. For the greatness of thy mercy is higher than the heavens, and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

5. தேவனே, வானங்களுக்கு மேலாக உயர்ந்திரும்; உமது மகிமை பூமியனைத்தின்மேலும் உயர்ந்திருப்பதாக.

5. Set up thyself, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory above all the earth.

6. உமது பிரியர் விடுவிக்கப்படும்பொருட்டு, உமது வலதுகரத்தினால் இரட்சித்து, எங்கள் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்.

6. That thy beloved may be delivered: help then with thy right hand, and hear me.

7. தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்தத்தைக்கொண்டு விளம்பினார், ஆகையால் களிகூருவேன்; சீகேமைப் பங்கிட்டு, சுக்கோத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கை அளந்துகொள்ளுவேன்.

7. God hath spoken in his Sanctuary, which thing rejoiceth me. I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8. கீலேயாத் என்னுடையது, மனாசேயும் என்னுடையது; எப்பிராயீம் என் தலையின் பெலன், யூதா என் நியாயப்பிரமாணிகன்.

8. Gilead is mine, Manasses is mine, Ephraim is the strength of mine head,

9. மோவாப் என் பாதபாத்திரம்; ஏதோமின்மேல் என் பாதரட்சையை எறிவேன்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின்மேல் ஆர்ப்பரிப்பேன்.

9. Judah is my captain. Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I stretch out my shoe, Philistia shall be glad of me.

10. அரணான பட்டணத்திற்குள் என்னை நடத்திக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் யார்? ஏதோம்மட்டும் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறவன் யார்?

10. Who will lead me into the strong city? Who will bring me into Edom?

11. எங்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்படாமலிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா? எங்களைத் தள்ளிவிட்டிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா?

11. Shalt not thou do it (O God) which hast cast us out: thou God, that wentest not forth with our Hosts?

12. இக்கட்டில் எங்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்; மனுஷனுடைய உதவி விருதா.

12. O be thou our help in trouble, for vain is the help of man.

13. தேவனாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்வோம்; அவரே எங்கள் சத்துருக்களை மிதித்துப்போடுவார்.

13. Thorow God we shall do great acts, for it is he that shall tread down our enemies.
