2. தோலாவின் குமாரர், ஊசி, ரெப்பாயா, யெரியேல், யக்மாயி, இப்சாம், சாமுவேல் என்பவர்கள்; தோலாவுக்குப் பிறந்த இவர்கள் தங்கள் பிதாக்கள் வம்சத்தலைவரும் தங்கள் சந்ததிகளிலே பராக்கிரமசாலிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்; தாவீதின் நாட்களில் அவர்கள் தொகை இருபதினாயிரத்து அறுநூறு பேராயிருந்தது.

2. And the sons of Tola: Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, heads of their families; they were men of war; in the record of their generations their number in the time of David was twenty-two thousand, six hundred.

5. And there were recorded among all the families of Issachar, great men of war, eighty-seven thousand.

6. The sons of Benjamin: Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.

7. பேலாவின் குமாரர், எஸ்போன், ஊசி, ஊசியேல், யெரிமோத், இரி என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளான ஐந்து தலைவராயிருந்தார்கள்; இவர்கள் வம்ச அட்டவணைக்குள்ளானவர்கள் இருபத்தீராயிரத்து முப்பத்துநாலுபேர்.

7. And the sons of Bela: Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five; heads of their families, great men of war; there were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four of them recorded by their families.

9. And they were recorded by their generations, heads of their families, great men of war, twenty thousand, two hundred.

10. And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan; and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah and Zethan and Tarshish and Ahishahar.

11. யெதியாயேலின் குமாரராகிய இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் பிதாக்கள் வம்சத்தாரில் தலைவராயிருந்தார்கள்; இவர்களில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் போகத்தக்க சேவகரான பராக்கிரமசாலிகள் பதினேழாயிரத்து இருநூறுபேர்.

11. All these were the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their families, seventeen thousand, two hundred men of war, able to go out with the army for war.

14. The sons of Manasseh by his servant-wife, the Aramaean woman: she gave birth to Machir, the father of Gilead;

15. மாகீர் மாக்காள் என்னும் பேருள்ள உப்பீம் சுப்பீம் என்பவர்களின் சகோதரியை விவாகம் பண்ணினான்; மனாசேயின் இரண்டாம் குமாரன் செலோப்பியாத்; செலோப்பியாத்திற்குக் குமாரத்திகள் இருந்தார்கள்.

15. (And Gilead took a wife, whose name was Maacah, and his sister's name was Hammoleketh;) and the name of his brother was Zelophehad, who was the father of daughters.

16. And Maacah, the wife of Gilead, gave birth to a son to whom she gave the name Peresh; and his brother was named Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

17. ஊலாமின் குமாரரில் ஒருவன் பேதான்; இவர்கள் மனாசேயின் குமாரனாகிய மாகீருக்குப் பிறந்த கீலேயாத் புத்திரர்.

17. And the son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir the son of Manasseh.

18. இவன் சகோதரியாகிய அம்மொளெகேத் இஸ்கோதையும் அபியேசரையும் மாகலாவையும் பெற்றாள்.

18. And his sister Hammoleketh was the mother of Ishhod and Abiezer and Mahlah.

19. செமிதாவின் குமாரர், அகியான், சேகேம், லிக்கே, அனியாம் என்பவர்கள்.

19. And the sons of Shemida were Ahian and Shechem and Likhi and Aniam.

20. எப்பிராயீமின் குமாரரில் ஒருவன் சுத்தெலாக்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் பேரேத்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் தாகாத்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் எலாதா; இவனுடைய குமாரன் தாகாத்.

20. And the sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son,

21. இவனுடைய குமாரன் சாபாத்; இவனுடைய குமாரர் சுத்தெலாக், எத்சேர், எலியாத்; இவர்கள் தேசத்தில் பிறந்த காத்தூராருடைய ஆடுமாடுகளைப் பிடிக்கப்போனபடியால் அவர்கள் இவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்.

21. And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, whom the men of Gath, who had been living in the land from their birth, put to death, because they came down to take away their cattle.

22. And for a long time Ephraim their father went on weeping for them, and his brothers came to give him comfort.

24. And his daughter was Sheerah, the builder of Beth-horon the lower and the higher, and Uzzen-sheerah.

25. அவனுடைய குமாரர், ரேப்பாக், ரேசேப் என்பவர்கள்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் தேலாக்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் தாகான்.

25. And Rephah was his son, and Resheph; his son was Telah, and his son was Tahan;

26. இவனுடைய குமாரன் லாதான்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் அம்மீயூத்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் எலிஷாமா.

26. Ladan was his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,

27. இவனுடைய குமாரன் நூன்; இவனுடைய குமாரன் யோசுவா.

27. Nun his son, Joshua his son.

28. அவர்களுடைய காணியாட்சியும், வாசஸ்தலங்களும், கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற நாரானும், மேற்கேயிருக்கிற கேசேரும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், பெத்தேலும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், சீகேமும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், காசாமட்டுக்குமுள்ள அதின் கிராமங்களும்,

28. Their heritage and their living-places were Beth-el and its daughter-towns, and Naaran to the east, and Gezer to the west, with its daughter-towns, as well as Shechem and its daughter-towns as far as Azzah and its daughter-towns;

29. மனாசே புத்திரரின் பக்கத்திலே பெத்செயானும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், தானாகும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், மெகிதோவும் அதின் கிராமங்களும், தோரும் அதின் கிராமங்களுமே; இவ்விடங்களில் இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பின் புத்திரர் குடியிருந்தார்கள்.

29. And by the limits of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and its daughter-towns, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, with their daughter-towns. In these the children of Joseph, the son of Israel, were living.

30. ஆசேரின் குமாரர், இம்னா, இஸ்வா, இஸ்வி, பெரீயா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் சகோதரி சேராள்.

30. The sons of Asher: Imnah and Ishvah and Ishvi and Beriah and Serah, their sister.

31. பெரீயாவின் குமாரர், ஏபேர், மல்கியேல் என்பவர்கள்; இவன் பிர்சாவீத்தின் தகப்பன்.

31. And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.

32. ஏபேர் யப்லேத்தையும், சோமேரையும், ஒத்தாமையும், இவர்கள் சகோதரியாகிய சூகாளையும் பெற்றான்.

32. And Heber was the father of Japhlet and Shomer and Hotham and Shua, their sister.

33. And the sons of Japhlet: Pasach and Bimhal and Ashvath. These are the sons of Japhlet.

34. சோமேரின் குமாரர் அகி, ரோகா, எகூபா, ஆராம் என்பவர்கள்.

34. And the sons of Shomer: Ahi and Rohgah, Jehubbah and Aram.

35. And the sons of Hotham, his brother: Zophah and Imna and Shelesh and Amal.

36. The sons of Zophah: Suah and Harnepher and Shual and Beri and Imrah,

37. பேசேர், ஓத், சம்மா, சில்சா, இத்ரான், பேரா என்பவர்கள்.

37. Bezer and Hod and Shamma and Shilshah and Ithran and Beera.

38. யெத்தேரின் குமாரர், எப்புனே, பிஸ்பா, ஆரா என்பவர்கள்.

38. And the sons of Jether: Jephunneh and Pispah and Ara.

39. உல்லாவின் குமாரர், ஆராக், அன்னியேல், ரித்சியா என்பவர்கள்.

39. And the sons of Ulla: Arah and Hanniel and Rizia.

40. ஆசேரின் புத்திரராகிய இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தலைவரும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும், பிரபுக்களின் தலைவருமாயிருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் வம்ச அட்டவணைகளில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் போகத்தக்க சேவகரின் இலக்கம் இருபத்தாறாயிரம்பேர்.

40. All these were the children of Asher, heads of their families, specially strong men of war, chiefs of the rulers. They were recorded in the army for war, twenty-six thousand men in number.
