1. ஆதாமின் வம்சவரலாறு: தேவன் மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவனைத் தேவசாயலாக உண்டாக்கினார்.

1. This is the boke of the generacion of man, in the tyme whan God created man, and made him after the symilitude of God.

2. அவர்களை ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாகச் சிருஷ்டித்து, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவர்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவர்களுக்கு மனுஷர் என்று பேரிட்டார்.

2. Male and female made he them, and blessed the, & called their names Man, in the tyme whan they were created.

3. ஆதாம் நூற்று முப்பது வயதானபோது, தன் சாயலாகத் தன் ரூபத்தின்படியே ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று, அவனுக்குச் சேத் என்று பேரிட்டான்.

3. And Adam was an hundreth and thirtie yeare olde, and begat a sonne, which was like his owne ymage, and called his name Seth:

4. ஆதாம் சேத்தைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூறு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

4. & lyued therafter eight hudreth yeare, and begat sonnes and doughters.

5. ஆதாம் உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து முப்பது வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

5. And his whole age was nyne hundreth and thirtie yeares, and so he dyed.

6. சேத் நூற்றைந்து வயதானபோது, ஏனோசைப் பெற்றான்.

6. Seth was an hundreth and fyue yeare olde, and begat Enos:

7. சேத் ஏனோசைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்றேழு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

7. & lyued therafter eight hundreth and seuen yeare, and begat sonnes and doughters.

8. சேத்துடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்துப் பன்னிரண்டு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

8. And his whole age was nyene hudreth and twolue yeares, and so he dyed.

9. ஏனோஸ் தொண்ணூறு வயதானபோது, கேனானைப் பெற்றான்.

9. Enos was nyentie yeare olde, and begat Renan:

10. ஏனோஸ் கேனானைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்றுப் பதினைந்து வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

10. and lyued therafter eight hundreth & fyftene yeare, and begat sonnes & daughters.

11. ஏனோசுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து ஐந்து வருஷம், அவன் மரித்தான்.

11. And his whole age was nyene hudreth and fyue yeares, and so he dyed.

12. கேனான் எழுபது வயதானபோது, மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றான்.

12. Renan was seuetie yeare olde, and begat Mahalaliel:

13. கேனான் மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்று நாற்பது வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

13. and lyued therafter eight hundreth and fourtie yeare, and begat sonnes & doughters.

14. கேனானுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்துப் பத்து வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

14. And his whole age was nyene hundreth and ten yeares, and so he dyed.

15. மகலாலெயேல் அறுபத்தைந்து வயதானபோது, யாரேதைப் பெற்றான்.

15. Mahalaliel was thre score yeare olde & fyue,

16. மகலாலெயேல் யாரேதைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்று முப்பது வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

16. and begat Iared: and lyued therafter eight hundreth and thirtie yeare, and begat sonnes and doughters.

17. மகலாலெயேலுடைய நாளெல்லாம் எண்ணூற்றுத் தொண்ணூற்று ஐந்து வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

17. And his whole age was eight hundreth, nyentie and fyue yeares, and so he dyed.

18. யாரேத் நூற்று அறுபத்திரண்டு வயதானபோது, ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றான்.

18. Iared was an hundreth and two & sixtie yeare olde, and begat Henoch:

19. யாரேத் ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூறு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

19. & lyued therafter eight hudreth yeare, and begat sonnes & doughters.

20. யாரேதுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து அறுபத்திரண்டு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

20. And his whole age was nyene hundreth and two and sixtie yeare, and so he dyed.

21. ஏனோக்கு அறுபத்தைந்து வயதானபோது, மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றான்.

21. Henoch was fyue and thre score yeare olde, and begat Mathusalah:

22. ஏனோக்கு மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றபின், முந்நூறு வருஷம் தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

22. and led a godly conuersacion thre hundreth yeares therafter, and begat sonnes & doughters.

23. ஏனோக்குடைய நாளெல்லாம் முந்நூற்று அறுபத்தைந்து வருஷம்.

23. And his whole age was thre hundreth and fyue and thre score yeares.

24. ஏனோக்கு தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், காணப்படாமற்போனான்; தேவன் அவனை எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்.
எபிரேயர் 11:5

24. And for so moch as he lyued a godly life, God toke him awaye, & he was nomore sene.

25. மெத்தூசலா நூற்றெண்பத்தேழு வயதானபோது, லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றான்.

25. Mathusalah was an uhdreth & seue and foure score yeare olde, & begat Lamech:

26. மெத்தூசலா லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றபின், எழுநூற்று எண்பத்திரண்டு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

26. and lyued therafter seuen hundreth and two and foure score yeare, and begat sonnes & doughters.

27. மெத்தூசலாவுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து அறுபத்தொன்பது வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

27. And his whole age was nyene hundreth and nyene and trescore yeares, and so he dyed.

28. லாமேக்கு நூற்றெண்பத்திரண்டு வயதானபோது, ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று,

28. Lamech was an hundreth and two and foure score yeare olde, and begat a sonne,

29. கர்த்தர் சபித்த பூமியிலே நமக்கு உண்டான வேலையிலும், நம்முடைய கைகளின் பிரயாசத்திலும், இவன் நம்மைத் தேற்றுவான் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு நோவா என்று பேரிட்டான்.

29. & called him Noe, and sayde: This same shall coforte vs in oure workes, and in the sorowe of oure hondes vpon the earth, which the LORDE hath cursed.

30. லாமேக்கு நோவாவைப் பெற்றபின், ஐந்நூற்றுத் தொண்ணூற்று ஐந்து வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.

30. After this he lyued fyue hudreth and fyue & nyentie yeare, and begat sonnes and doughters.

31. லாமேக்குடைய நாளெல்லாம் எழுநூற்று எழுபத்தேழு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.

31. And his whole age was seuen hundreth seuen and seuentie yeares, and so he dyed.

32. நோவா ஐந்நூறு வயதானபோது, சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்பவர்களைப் பெற்றான்.

32. Noe was fyue hundreth yeare olde, and begat Sem, Ham and Iaphet.
