17. Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan. And Dan, why did he linger by the ships? Asher remained on the coast and stayed in his coves.

18. செபுலோனும் நப்தலியும் போர்க்களத்து முனையிலே தங்கள் உயிரை எண்ணாமல் மரணத்துக்குத் துணிந்து நின்றார்கள்.

18. The people of Zebulun risked their very lives; so did Naphtali on the terraced fields.

19. ராஜாக்கள் வந்து யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கானானியரின் ராஜாக்கள் மெகிதோவின் தண்ணீர் அருகான தானாக்கிலே யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குத் திரவியக்கொள்ளை கிடைக்கவில்லை.

28. 'Through the window peered Sisera's mother; behind the lattice she cried out, 'Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why is the clatter of his chariots delayed?'

31. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப் பகைக்கிற யாவரும் இப்படியே அழியக்கடவர்கள்; அவரில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களோ, வல்லமையோடே உதிக்கிற சூரியனைப்போல இருக்கக்கடவர்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள். பின்பு தேசம் நாற்பது வருஷம் அமைதலாயிருந்தது.
