17. Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan; and Dan, why did he stay with the ships? Asher sat still at the coast of the sea, staying by his landings.

18. செபுலோனும் நப்தலியும் போர்க்களத்து முனையிலே தங்கள் உயிரை எண்ணாமல் மரணத்துக்குத் துணிந்து நின்றார்கள்.

18. Zebulun is a people who risked their lives to the death; Naphtali, too, on the heights of the field.

19. ராஜாக்கள் வந்து யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கானானியரின் ராஜாக்கள் மெகிதோவின் தண்ணீர் அருகான தானாக்கிலே யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குத் திரவியக்கொள்ளை கிடைக்கவில்லை.

28. சிசெராவின் தாய் ஜன்னலில் நின்று பலகணி வழியாய்ப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்து: அவனுடைய இரதம் வராமல் பிந்திப்போனதென்ன? அவனுடைய இரதங்களின் ஓட்டம் தாமதிக்கிறதென்ன என்று புலம்பினாள்.

28. 'Out of the window she peered, the mother of Sisera wailed through the lattice: 'Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why tarry the hoofbeats of his chariots?'

30. 'Have they not found and divided the spoil?- A womb or two for every man; spoil of dyed materials for Sisera, spoil of dyed materials embroidered, two pieces of dyed work embroidered for the neck as spoil?'

31. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப் பகைக்கிற யாவரும் இப்படியே அழியக்கடவர்கள்; அவரில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களோ, வல்லமையோடே உதிக்கிற சூரியனைப்போல இருக்கக்கடவர்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள். பின்பு தேசம் நாற்பது வருஷம் அமைதலாயிருந்தது.
