1. நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உன்னைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஜனம் பெருத்த ஜாதிகளாகிய ஏத்தியர், கிர்காசியர், எமோரியர், கானானியர், பெரிசியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் என்னும் ஏழு பலத்த ஜாதிகளை உனக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தி,
அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 13:19

1. Whan ye LORDE yi God bringeth the in to ye londe where in to thou shalt come to possesse it, & roteth out ma nacions before the: the Hethites, Girgosites Amorites, Cananites, Pheresites, Heuites, and Iebusites, seue nacions which are greater and mightier then thou:

2. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களை உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, அவர்களை முறிய அடித்து, அவர்களைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணக்கடவாய்; அவர்களோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணவும் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்கவும் வேண்டாம்.

2. and whan the LORDE thy God delyuereth the before ye, that thou mayest smyte them, thou shalt vtterly destroye them, so that thou make no couenaunt with them, nor shewe them fauoure, and shalt make no mariages with them:

3. அவர்களோடே சம்பந்தம் கலவாயாக; உன் குமாரத்திகளை அவர்கள் குமாரருக்குக் கொடாமலும், அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகளை உன் குமாரருக்குக் கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பாயாக.

3. Ye shall not geue youre doughters vnto their sonnes, ner take their doughters vnto youre sonnes.

4. என்னைப் பின்பற்றாமல், அந்நிய தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கும்படி அவர்கள் உன் குமாரரை விலகப்பண்ணுவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் உங்கள்மேல் மூண்டு, உங்களைச் சீக்கிரத்தில் அழிக்கும்.

4. For they will make youre sonnes departe fro me, to serue straunge goddes: then shall the wrath of the LORDE waxe whote vpon you, and destroye you shortly.

5. நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அவர்கள் பலிபீடங்களை இடித்து, அவர்கள் சிலைகளைத் தகர்த்து, அவர்கள் தோப்புகளை வெட்டி, அவர்கள் விக்கிரகங்களை அக்கினியிலே எரித்துப்போடவேண்டும்.

5. But thus shal ye do with them: Ye shal ouerthrowe their altares, breake downe their pilers, cut downe their groues, & burne their ymages with fyre.

6. நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஜனம், பூச்சக்கரத்திலுள்ள எல்லா ஜனங்களிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாயிருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
ரோமர் 9:4, தீத்து 2:14, 1 பேதுரு 2:9

6. For thou art an holy people vnto the LORDE thy God. The hath the LORDE thy God chosen, that thou shuldest be his awne peculier people, from amonge all nacions that are vpon the earth.

7. சகல ஜனங்களிலும் நீங்கள் திரட்சியான ஜனமென்று கர்த்தர் உங்கள் பேரில் அன்புவைத்து உங்களைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை; நீங்கள் சகல ஜனங்களிலும் கொஞ்சமாயிருந்தீர்கள்.

7. It was not because of the multitude of you aboue all nacions, that ye LORDE had lust vnto you and chose you. (For ye were the leest amonge all nacions)

8. கர்த்தர் உங்களில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினாலும், உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு இட்ட ஆணையைக் காக்கவேண்டும் என்பதினாலும்; கர்த்தர் பலத்த கையினால் உங்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்தினின்றும் அதின் ராஜாவான பார்வோனின் கையினின்றும் உங்களை மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

8. but because he loued you, and that he mighte kepe the ooth, which he sware vnto youre fathers, he broughte you out with a mightie hade, and delyuered you fro the house of bondage, out of the hande of Pharao kynge of Egipte.

9. ஆகையால் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே தேவன் என்றும், தம்மில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, தமது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு அவர் ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் உடன்படிக்கையையும் தயவையும் காக்கிற உண்மையுள்ள தேவன் என்றும்,
1 கொரிந்தியர் 1:9, 1 கொரிந்தியர் 10:13

9. Thou shalt vnderstonde now therfore, that the LORDE thy God is a mightie and true God, which kepeth couenaunt and mercy vnto them that loue him, and kepe his comaundementes, euen thorow out a thousande generacions:

10. தம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்குப் பிரத்தியட்சமாய்ப் பதிலளித்து அவர்களை அழிப்பார் என்றும், தம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவனுக்கு அவர் தாமதியாமல் பிரத்தியட்சமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார் என்றும் நீ அறியக்கடவாய்.

10. And rewardeth them that hate him, before his face, that he maye destroye them: and wyll not be longe in tarienge to rewarde them (before his face) that hate him.

11. ஆகையால் நீ செய்யும்படி நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிற கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்வாயாக.

11. Kepe now therfore the commaundementes, and ordinaunces and lawes, which I commaunde the this daye, that thou do therafter.

12. இந்த நியாயங்களை நீங்கள் கேட்டு, கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்வீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக் கொடுத்த உடன்படிக்கையையும் கிருபையையும் உனக்காகக் காத்து,

12. And yf ye shall heare these lawes and kepe them, and do therafter, then shal the LORDE thy God also kepe the couenaunt and mercy with the, which he sware vnto thy fathers:

13. உன்மேல் அன்பு வைத்து, உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தேசத்தில் உன்னைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, உன் கர்ப்பக்கனியையும், உன் நிலத்தின் கனிகளாகிய உன் தானியத்தையும், உன் திராட்சரசத்தையும், உன் எண்ணெயையும், உன் மாடுகளின் பலனையும், உன் ஆட்டுமந்தைகளையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

13. and shal loue the, blesse the, and multiplye the: he shal blesse the frute of yi wombe, and the frute of thy londe, thy corne, wyne and oyle, the frute of thy kyne, and the frute of thy shepe, in the londe that he sware vnto yi fathers to geue the.

14. சகல ஜனங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீ ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய்; உங்களுக்குள்ளும் உங்கள் மிருக ஜீவன்களுக்குள்ளும் ஆணிலாகிலும் பெண்ணிலாகிலும் மலடிருப்பதில்லை.

14. Blessed shalt thou be aboue all nacions, there shal no vnfrutefull personne be in the, ner amonge thy catell.

15. கர்த்தர் சகல நோய்களையும் உன்னை விட்டு விலக்குவார்; உனக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கிற எகிப்தியரின் கொடிய ரோகங்களில் ஒன்றும் உன்மேல் வரப்பண்ணாமல், உன்னைப் பகைக்கிற யாவர்மேலும் அவைகளை வரப்பண்ணுவார்.

15. The LORDE shall put from the all maner of dysease, and shal brynge vpon the none of ye euell sicknesses of Egipte, which thou hast sene, but shall put them vpon all those that hate the.

16. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும் சகல ஜனங்களையும் நிர்மூலமாக்கக்கடவாய்; உன் கண் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்காதிருப்பதாக; அவர்கள் தேவர்களை நீ சேவியாமல் இருப்பாயாக; அது உனக்குக் கண்ணியாயிருக்கும்.

16. Thou shalt brynge to naught all the nacions, which the LORDE thy God shal delyuer the. Thine eye shall not spare them, and their goddes shalt thou not serue, for that shalbe thy decaye.

17. அந்த ஜாதிகள் என்னிலும் ஜனம் பெருத்தவைகள், நான் அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிடுவது எப்படி என்று உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொண்டாயானால்,

17. Yf thou shalt saye in thyne hert: These nacios are mo then I, how ca I dryue them out?

18. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பார்வோனுக்கும் எகிப்தியர் யாவருக்கும் செய்ததையும்,

18. Feare them not. Remembre what the LORDE thy God did vnto Pharao and to all the Egipcians,

19. உன் கண்கள் கண்ட பெரிய சோதனைகளையும், அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணிக் காண்பித்த பலத்த கையையும் ஓங்கிய புயத்தையும் நன்றாய் நினைத்து, அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதிரு; நீ பார்த்துப் பயப்படுகிற எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அப்படியே செய்வார்.

19. thorow greate tentacions (which thou hast sene with thine eyes) thorow tokens and woders, thorow a mightie hande and a stretched out arme, wherwith the LORDE thy God brought the out. Euen so shall the LORDE thy God do vnto all ye nacions of who thou art afrayed.

20. மீதியாயிருந்து உனக்குத் தப்பி ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும் அழிந்து போகுமட்டும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே குளவிகளை அனுப்புவார்.

20. The LORDE yi God also shal sende hornettes amonge them, vntyll they that remayne and hyde them selues from the, be destroyed.

21. அவர்களைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறார், அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன்.

21. Be not thou afrayed of them: for the LORDE thy God is in the myddes of the, euen the mightie and fearfull God.

22. அந்த ஜாதிகளை உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய் உன்னைவிட்டுத் துரத்திவிடுவார்; நீ அவர்களை ஒருமிக்க நிர்மூலமாக்கவேண்டாம்; நிர்மூலமாக்கினால் காட்டுமிருகங்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் பெருகிப்போகும்.

22. He (euen the LORDE thy God) shall rote out the nacions before the by litle and litle. Thou canst not consume them at one time, yt the beestes of the felde increase not vpon the.

23. உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களை உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவர்கள் அழியுமட்டும் அவர்களை மிகவும் கலங்கடிப்பார்.

23. The LORDE thy God shall delyuer them before the, and shall smite them with a greate slaughter, tyll they be destroyed.

24. அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்; அவர்கள் பேர் வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்கு அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கக்கடவாய்; நீ அவர்களைச் சங்கரித்துத் தீருமட்டும் ஒருவரும் உனக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கமாட்டார்கள்.

24. And he shal delyuer their kynges in to thine hade, and thou shalt destroie their names from vnder heauen. There shal noman make the resistaunce before the, vntyll thou haue destroyed them.

25. அவர்கள் தேவர்களின் விக்கிரகங்களை அக்கினியினால் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவாய்; நீ அவைகளால் சிக்கிக்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளில் இருக்கிற வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் இச்சியாமலும், அதை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பாயாக; அவைகள் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவைகள்.

25. The ymages of their goddes shalt thou burne with fyre, & shalt not desyre the syluer or golde that is on them or to take it vnto the, that thou snare not thy self therin: for it is abhominacion vnto the LORDE yi God.

26. அவைகளைப் போல நீ சாபத்துக்குள்ளாகாதபடி அருவருப்பானதை உன் வீட்டிலே கொண்டுபோகாயாக; அதைச் சீ என்று வெறுத்து முற்றிலும் அருவருக்கக்கடவாய், அது சாபத்திற்குள்ளானது.

26. Therfore shalt thou not brynge the abhominacion in to thine house, yt thou be not damned as it is, but shalt vtterly defye it, and abhorre it, for it is damned.
