1. Brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the good news I preached to you. You received it and have put your faith in it.

3. What I received I passed on to you. And it is the most important of all. Here is what it is. Christ died for our sins, just as Scripture said he would.

6. After that, he appeared to more than 500 believers at the same time. Most of them are still living. But some have died.

7. He appeared to James. Then he appeared to all the apostles.

8. Last of all, he also appeared to me. I was like someone who wasn't born at the right time or in a normal way.

9. I am the least important of the apostles. I'm not even fit to be called an apostle. I tried to destroy God's church.

10. But because of God's grace I am what I am. And his grace was not wasted on me. No, I have worked harder than all the other apostles. But I didn't do the work. God's grace was with me.

11. So whether it was I or the other apostles who preached to you, that is what we preach. And that is what you believed.

12. We have preached that Christ has been raised from the dead. So how can some of you say that no one rises from the dead?

13. If no one rises from the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

14. கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திருக்கவில்லையென்றால், எங்கள் பிரசங்கமும் விருதா, உங்கள் விசுவாசமும் விருதா.

14. And if Christ has not been raised, what we preach doesn't mean anything. Your faith doesn't mean anything either.

15. More than that, we would be lying about God. We have given witness that God raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if the dead are not raised.

16. If the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.

17. கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திராவிட்டால், உங்கள் விசுவாசம் வீணாயிருக்கும்; நீங்கள் இன்னும் உங்கள் பாவங்களில் இருப்பீர்கள்.

17. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith doesn't mean anything. Your sins have not been forgiven.

18. கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களும் கெட்டிருப்பார்களே.

18. Those who have died believing in Christ are also lost.

19. இம்மைக்காகமாத்திரம் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால், எல்லா மனுஷரைப்பார்க்கிலும் பரிதபிக்கப்படத்தக்கவர்களாயிருப்போம்.

19. Do we have hope in Christ only for this life? Then people should pity us more than anyone else.

20. கிறிஸ்துவோ மரித்தோரிலிருந்தெழுந்து, நித்திரையடைந்தவர்களில் முதற்பலனானார்.

20. But Christ really has been raised from the dead. He is the first of all those who will rise.

21. Death came because of what a man did. Rising from the dead also comes because of what a man did.

23. But here is the order of events. Christ is the first of those who rise from the dead. When he comes back, those who belong to him will be raised.

24. Then the end will come. Christ will destroy all rule, authority and power. He will hand over the kingdom to God the Father.

27. Scripture says that God 'has put everything under his control.'--(Psalm 8:6) It says that 'everything' has been put under him. But it is clear that this does not include God himself, who puts everything under Christ.

28. When he has done that, the Son also will be under God's rule. God puts everything under the Son. In that way, God will be all in all.

29. Suppose no one rises from the dead. Then what will people do who are baptized for the dead? Suppose the dead are not raised at all. Then why are people baptized for them?

30. நாங்களும் ஏன் எந்நேரமும் நாசமோசத்திற்கு ஏதுவாயிருக்கிறோம்?

30. And why would we put ourselves in danger every hour?

31. நான் அநுதினமும் சாகிறேன்; அதை நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினால் உங்களைக்குறித்து, நான் பாராட்டுகிற மேன்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

31. I die every day. I really mean that, brothers and sisters. Here is something you can be sure of. I take pride in what Christ Jesus our Lord has done for you through my work.

32. நான் எபேசுவிலே துஷ்டமிருகங்களுடனே போராடினேனென்று மனுஷர் வழக்கமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; அப்படிப் போராடினதினாலே எனக்குப் பிரயோஜனமென்ன? மரித்தோர் உயிர்த்தெழாவிட்டால், புசிப்போம் குடிப்போம், நாளைக்குச் சாவோம் என்று சொல்லலாமே?

32. Did I fight wild animals in Ephesus for only human reasons? Then what have I gotten for it? If the dead are not raised, 'Let us eat and drink, because tomorrow we will die.' --(Isaiah 22:13)

33. மோசம்போகாதிருங்கள்; ஆகாதசம்பாஷணைகள் நல்லொழுக்கங்களைக் கெடுக்கும்.

33. Don't let anyone fool you. 'Bad companions make a good person bad.'

34. நீங்கள் பாவஞ்செய்யாமல் நீதிக்கேற்க விழித்துக்கொண்டு, தெளிந்தவர்களாயிருங்கள்; சிலர் தேவனைப்பற்றி அறிவில்லாதிருக்கிறார்களே; உங்களுக்கு வெட்கமுண்டாக இதைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

34. You should come back to your senses and stop sinning. Some of you don't know anything about God. I say this to make you ashamed.

35. ஆகிலும், மரித்தோர் எப்படி எழுந்திருப்பார்கள், எப்படிப்பட்ட சரீரத்தோடே வருவார்களென்று ஒருவன் சொல்வானாகில்,

35. But someone might ask, 'How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have?'

36. புத்தியீனனே, நீ விதைக்கிற விதை செத்தாலொழிய உயிர்க்கமாட்டாதே.

36. How foolish! What you plant doesn't come to life unless it dies.

37. நீ விதைக்கிறபோது, இனி உண்டாகும் மேனியை விதையாமல், கோதுமை, அல்லது மற்றொரு தானியத்தினுடைய வெறும் விதையையே விதைக்கிறாய்.

37. When you plant something, it isn't a completely grown plant that you put in the ground. You only plant a seed. Maybe it's wheat or something else.

38. அதற்கு தேவன் தமது சித்தத்தின்படியே மேனியைக் கொடுக்கிறார்; விதை வகைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றிற்கும் அதற்கேற்ற மேனியையே கொடுக்கிறார்.

38. But God gives the seed a body just as he has planned. And to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

39. All earthly creatures are not the same. People have one kind of body. Animals have another. Birds have another kind. Fish have still another.

40. வானத்துக்குரிய மேனிகளுமுண்டு, பூமிக்குரிய மேனிகளுமுண்டு; வானத்துக்குரிய மேனிகளுடைய மகிமையும் வேறே, பூமிக்குரிய மேனிகளுடைய மகிமையும் வேறே;

40. There are also heavenly bodies as well as earthly bodies. Heavenly bodies have one kind of glory. Earthly bodies have another.

41. சூரியனுடைய மகிமையும் வேறே, சந்திரனுடைய மகிமையும் வேறே, நட்சத்திரங்களுடைய மகிமையும் வேறே, மகிமையிலே நட்சத்திரத்துக்கு நட்சத்திரம் விசேஷித்திருக்கிறது.

41. The sun has one kind of glory. The moon has another kind. The stars have still another. And one star's glory is different from that of another star.

42. மரித்தோரின் உயிர்த்தெழுதலும் அப்படியே இருக்கும். அழிவுள்ளதாய் விதைக்கப்படும், அழிவில்லாததாய் எழுந்திருக்கும்;

42. It will be like that with bodies that are raised from the dead. The body that is planted does not last forever. The body that is raised from the dead lasts forever.

43. கனவீனமுள்ளதாய் விதைக்கப்படும், மகிமையுள்ளதாய் எழுந்திருக்கும்; பலவீனமுள்ளதாய் விதைக்கப்படும், பலமுள்ளதாய் எழுந்திருக்கும்.

43. It is planted without honor. But it is raised in glory. It is planted in weakness. But it is raised in power.

44. ஜென்மசரீரம் விதைக்கப்படும், ஆவிக்குரிய சரீரம் எழுந்திருக்கும்; ஜென்மசரீரமுமுண்டு, ஆவிக்குரிய சரீரமுமுண்டு.

44. It is planted as an earthly body. But it is raised as a spiritual body. Just as there is an earthly body, there is also a spiritual body.

45. அந்தப்படியே முந்தின மனுஷனாகிய ஆதாம் ஜீவாத்துமாவானான் என்றெழுதியிருக்கிறது; பிந்தின ஆதாம் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிற ஆவியானார்.

45. It is written, 'The first man Adam became a living person.'--(Genesis 2:7) The last Adam became a spirit that gives life.

46. What is spiritual did not come first. What is earthly came first. What is spiritual came after that.

47. The first man came from the dust of the earth. The second man came from heaven.

48. மண்ணானவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவனோ மண்ணானவர்களும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களே; வானத்துக்குரியவர் எப்படிப்பட்டவரோ, வானத்துக்குரியவர்களும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களே.

48. Those who belong to the earth are like the one who came from the earth. And those who are spiritual are like the one who came from heaven.

49. மேலும் மண்ணானவனுடைய சாயலை நாம் அணிந்திருக்கிறதுபோல, வானவருடைய சாயலையும் அணிந்துகொள்ளுவோம்.

49. We are like the earthly man. And we will be like the man from heaven.

50. Brothers and sisters, here is what I'm telling you. Bodies made of flesh and blood can't share in the kingdom of God. And what dies can't share in what never dies.

51. Listen! I am telling you a mystery. We will not all die. But we will all be changed.

52. That will happen in a flash, as quickly as you can wink an eye. It will happen when the last trumpet sounds. The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised to live forever. And we will be changed.

53. அழிவுள்ளதாகிய இது அழியாமையையும், சாவுக்கேதுவாகிய இது சாவாமையையும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

53. Our natural bodies don't last forever. They must be dressed with what does last forever. What dies must be dressed with what does not die.

54. அழிவுள்ளதாகிய இது அழியாமையையும், சாவுக்கேதுவாகிய இது சாவாமையையும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்போது, மரணம் ஜெயமாக விழுங்கப்பட்டது என்று எழுதியிருக்கிற வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும்.

54. In fact, that is going to happen. What does not last will be dressed with what lasts forever. What dies will be dressed with what does not die. Then what is written will come true. It says, 'Death has been swallowed up. It has lost the battle.'--(Isaiah 25:8)

55. 'Death, where is the battle you thought you were winning? Death, where is your sting?' --(Hosea 13:14)

56. மரணத்தின் கூர் பாவம், பாவத்தின் பெலன் நியாயப்பிரமாணம்.

56. The sting of death is sin. And the power of sin is the law.

57. நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலே நமக்கு ஜெயங்கொடுக்கிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

57. But let us give thanks to God! He wins the battle for us because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done.

58. ஆகையால், எனக்குப் பிரியமான சகோதரரே, கர்த்தருக்குள் நீங்கள் படுகிறபிரயாசம் விருதாவாயிராதென்று அறிந்து, நீங்கள் உறுதிப்பட்டவர்களாயும், அசையாதவர்களாயும், கர்த்தருடைய கிரியையிலே எப்பொழுதும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாயும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

58. My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Don't let anything move you. Always give yourselves completely to the work of the Lord. Because you belong to the Lord, you know that your work is not worthless.
