1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2. குத்துவிளக்கு எப்பொழுதும் எரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்படி அதற்காக இடித்துப்பிழிந்த தெளிவான ஒலிவ எண்ணெயை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் உன்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடு.

2. Command the sons of Israel that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

3. ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் சாட்சிசந்நிதியின் திரைக்கு வெளிப்புறமாக ஆரோன் அதை எப்பொழுதும் சாயங்காலம் தொடங்கி விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் எரியும்படி ஏற்றக்கடவன்; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்தியகட்டளை.

3. Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the testimony, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually; [it shall be] a perpetual statute for [all] your ages.

4. அவன் எப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான குத்துவிளக்கின்மேல் இருக்கிற விளக்குகளை எரியவைக்கக்கடவன்.

4. He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

5. அன்றியும் நீ மெல்லிய மாவை எடுத்து, அதைப் பன்னிரண்டு அப்பங்களாகச் சுடுவாயாக; ஒவ்வொரு அப்பம் மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டுபங்கு மாவினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

5. And thou shalt take fine flour and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two-tenth deals.

6. அவைகளை நீ கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான மேஜையின்மேல் இரண்டு அடுக்காக, ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கில் அவ்வாறு அப்பம் இருக்கும்படியாக வைத்து,

6. And thou shalt set them in two orders, six [in each] order, upon the clean table before the LORD.

7. ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கினிடத்தில் சுத்தமான தூபவர்க்கம் போடக்கடவாய்; அது அப்பத்தோடிருந்து, ஞாபகக்குறியாகக் கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற தகனபலியாயிருக்கும்.

7. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon [each] order, that it may be on the bread for an aroma and incense unto the LORD.

8. அப்பத்தை நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கையிலே வாங்கி, ஓய்வுநாள்தோறும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அடுக்கிவைக்கக்கடவன்.

8. Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually: everlasting covenant of the sons of Israel.

9. அது ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் சேரும்; அதைப் பரிசுத்த இடத்திலே புசிக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நித்தியகட்டளையாக கர்த்தருக்கு இடப்படும் தகனபலிகளில் அது அவனுக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும் என்றார்.

9. And it shall belong to Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in the holy place, for it [is] most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD on fire, by a perpetual statute.

10. அக்காலத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான ஸ்திரீக்கும் எகிப்திய புருஷனுக்கும் பிறந்த புத்திரனாகிய ஒருவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடேகூடப் புறப்பட்டு வந்திருந்தான்; இவனும் இஸ்ரவேலனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனும் பாளயத்திலே சண்டைபண்ணினார்கள்.

10. In that season the son of an Israelite woman, whose father [was] an Egyptian, went out among the sons of Israel; and this son of the Israelite [woman] and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

11. அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான அந்த ஸ்திரீயின் மகன் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை நிந்தித்துத் தூஷித்தான். அவனை மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அவன் தாயின் பேர் செலோமித்; அவள் தாண் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய திப்ரியின் குமாரத்தி.

11. and the Israelite woman's son pronounced the Name and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother's name [was] Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

12. கர்த்தரின் வாக்கினாலே தங்களுக்கு உத்தரவு வருமட்டும், அவனைக் காவல்படுத்தினார்கள்.

12. And they put him in ward that the mind of the LORD might be showed them.

13. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

13. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

14. தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோ; கேட்டவர்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் கைகளை அவன் தலையின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; பின்பு சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியக்கடவர்கள்.

14. Bring forth the one that has blasphemed outside the camp and let all that heard [him] lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

15. மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: எவனாகிலும் தன் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தால், அவன் தன் பாவத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.

15. And thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, The man that speaks evil of his God shall bear his sin.

16. கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும்; பரதேசியானாலும் சுதேசியானாலும் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

16. And he that pronounces the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him; the same with the stranger as with the natural, if he pronounces the Name, he shall be put to death.

17. ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

17. Likewise he that kills any man shall surely be put to death.

18. மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் மிருகத்துக்கு மிருகம் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

18. And he that kills an animal shall make it good: animal for animal.

19. ஒருவன் பிறனை ஊனப்படுத்தினால், அவன் செய்தபடியே அவனுக்கும் செய்யப்படக்கடவது.

19. And if a man causes a blemish in his neighbour; as he has done, so shall it be done to him;

20. நொறுக்குதலுக்கு நொறுக்குதல், கண்ணுக்குக் கண், பல்லுக்குப் பல்; அவன் ஒரு மனிதனை ஊனப்படுத்தினது போல அவனும் ஊனப்படுத்தப்படவேண்டும்.

20. breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him [again].

21. மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் பதில் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; மனிதனைக் கொன்றவனோ கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.

21. He that kills an animal shall restore it, but he that kills a man shall be put to death.

22. உங்களில் பரதேசிக்கும் சுதேசிக்கும் ஒரே நியாயம் இருக்கவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

22. Ye shall have one manner of law: as for the stranger, so shall it be for the natural; for I [am] the LORD your God.

23. அப்படியே, தூஷித்தவனைப் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய், அவனைக் கல்லெறியும்படி மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொன்னான்; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.

23. And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel that they should bring forth the one that had blasphemed out of the camp and stone him with stones. And the sons of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.:
