1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: சபைகூடி வந்து பரிசுத்த நாட்களாக ஆசரிக்கும்படி, நீங்கள் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகை நாட்களாவன:

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, [Concerning] the set feasts of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaim as holy convocations -- these are my set feasts.

3. ஆறுநாளும் வேலைசெய்யவேண்டும்; ஏழாம்நாள் பரிசுத்த சபைகூடுதலான ஓய்வுநாள், அதில் ஒரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்; அது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்ந்திருக்கும் நாளாயிருப்பதாக.

3. Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; no manner of work shall ye do: it is the sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

4. சபைகூடிவந்து பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிக்கும்படி, நீங்கள் குறித்தகாலத்தில் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தரின் பண்டிகைகளாவன:

4. These are the set feasts of Jehovah, holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons:

5. முதலாம் மாதம் பதினாலாம் தேதி அந்திநேரமாகிய வேளையிலே கர்த்தரின் பஸ்கா பண்டிகையும்,

5. In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the two evenings, is the passover to Jehovah.

6. அந்த மாதம் பதினைந்தாம் தேதியிலே, கர்த்தருக்குப் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகையுமாய் இருக்கும்; ஏழுநாள் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களைப் புசிக்கவேண்டும்.

6. And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of unleavened bread to Jehovah; seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread.

7. முதலாம் நாள் உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமான சபைகூடுதல்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

7. On the first day ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

8. ஏழுநாளும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியிடவேண்டும்; ஏழாம்நாள் பரிசுத்தமான சபைகூடுதல்; அதில் சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது என்று சொல் என்றார்.

8. And ye shall present to Jehovah an offering by fire seven days; on the seventh day is a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

9. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

9. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

10. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேர்ந்து, அதின் வெள்ளாண்மையை அறுக்கும்போது, உங்கள் அறுப்பின் முதற்பலனாகிய ஒரு கதிர்க்கட்டை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவீர்கள்.

10. Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When ye come into the land that I give unto you, and ye reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest.

11. உங்களுக்காக அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, ஆசாரியன் அந்தக்கதிர்க்கட்டை ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாளில் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அசைவாட்டவேண்டும்.

11. And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you; on the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

12. நீங்கள் அந்தக் கதிர்க்கட்டை அசைவாட்டும் நாளில் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாக ஒருவயதான பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியையும்,

12. And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf, a he-lamb without blemish, a yearling, for a burnt-offering to Jehovah;

13. கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாக ஒரு மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டு பங்கானதும் எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்ததுமான மெல்லிய மாவாகிய போஜனபலியையும், திராட்சப்பழரசத்திலே காற்படியாகிய பானபலியையும் செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

13. and the oblation thereof: two tenths of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering by fire to Jehovah for a sweet odour; and the drink-offering thereof, of wine, a fourth part of a hin.

14. உங்கள் தேவனுக்குக் காணிக்கையை நீங்கள் கொண்டுவரும் அந்நாள் மட்டும், அப்பமும் வாட்டிய கதிரும் பச்சைக்கதிரும் புசியீர்களாக; இது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை.

14. And ye shall not eat bread, or roast corn, or green ears, until the same day that ye have brought the offering of your God: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

15. நீங்கள் அசைவாட்டும் கதிர்க்கட்டைக் கொண்டுவரும் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாள் முதற்கொண்டு எண்ணத்துவக்கி, ஏழுவாரங்கள் நிறைவேறினபின்பு,

15. And ye shall count from the morning after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave-offering, seven weeks; they shall be complete;

16. ஏழாம் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கு மறுநாளாகிய ஐம்பதாம் நாள்மட்டும் எண்ணி, கர்த்தருக்குப் புதிய போஜனபலியைச் செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

16. even unto the morning after the seventh sabbath shall ye count fifty days; and ye shall present a new oblation to Jehovah.

17. நீங்கள் ஒரு மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டு பங்காகிய மெல்லிய மாவிலே புளிப்பாகப் பாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாயிருக்கிற இரண்டு அப்பங்களை உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து கர்த்தருக்கென்று முதற்பலனாகக் கொண்டுவந்து,

17. Out of your dwellings shall ye bring two wave-loaves, of two tenths of fine flour; with leaven shall they be baken; [as] first-fruits to Jehovah.

18. அப்பத்தோடேகூடக் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாக, ஒருவயதான பழுதற்ற ஏழு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், ஒரு காளையையும், இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலியாக அவைகளுக்கு அடுத்த போஜனபலியையும், பானபலியையும் செலுத்தி,

18. And ye shall present with the bread seven he-lambs without blemish, yearlings, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be a burnt-offering to Jehovah with their oblation, and their drink-offerings, an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.

19. வெள்ளாடுகளில் ஒரு கடாவைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், ஒருவயதான இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளைச் சமாதானபலியாகவும் இடக்கடவீர்கள்.

19. And ye shall sacrifice one buck of the goats for a sin-offering, and two he-lambs, yearlings, for a sacrifice of peace-offering.

20. அவைகளை ஆசாரியன் முதற்பலனாகிய அப்பத்தோடும் இரண்டு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளோடுங்கூட கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அசைவாட்டும் பலியாக அசைவாட்டக்கடவன்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாகிய அவைகள் ஆசாரியனுடையவைகளாகும்.

20. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first-fruits as a wave-offering before Jehovah, with the two he-lambs; they shall be holy to Jehovah, for the priest.

21. அந்த நாள் உங்களுக்குச் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்த நாள் என்று கூறவேண்டும்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது; இது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை.

21. And ye shall make proclamation on that same day -- a holy convocation shall it be unto you: no manner of servile work shall ye do: [it is] an everlasting statute in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

22. உங்கள் தேசத்தின் வெள்ளாண்மையை நீங்கள் அறுக்கையில், வயலின் ஓரத்தில் இருக்கிறதை முற்றிலும் அறுக்காமலும், சிந்திக்கிடக்கிற கதிர்களைப் பொறுக்காமலும், எளியவனுக்கும் பரதேசிக்கும் அவைகளை விட்டுவிடவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

22. And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not in thy harvest entirely reap the corners of thy field, and the gleaning of thy harvest shalt thou not gather: thou shalt leave them unto the poor and to the stranger: I am Jehovah your God.

23. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

23. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

24. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உங்களுக்கு ஏழாம் மாதம் முதலாந்தேதி எக்காளச்சத்தத்தால் ஞாபக்குறியாகக் கொண்டாடுகிற பண்டிகை என்கிற சபை கூடும் பரிசுத்த ஓய்வுநாளாய் இருப்பதாக.

24. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, shall ye have a rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

25. அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

25. No manner of servile work shall ye do; and ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah.

26. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

26. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

27. அந்த ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதி உங்களுக்குப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும் நாளும் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாளுமாயிருப்பதாக; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தி, கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்.

27. Also on the tenth of this seventh month is the day of the atonement: a holy convocation shall it be unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and present an offering by fire to Jehovah.

28. அந்த நாள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யப்படும் பாவநிவாரண நாளாயிருக்கிறபடியால், அதிலே யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

28. And ye shall do no manner of work on that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Jehovah your God.

29. அந்நாளிலே தன்னைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தாத எந்த ஆத்துமாவும் தன் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோவான்.

29. For every soul that is not afflicted on that same day, shall be cut off from among his peoples.

30. அந்நாளிலே ஒரு ஆத்துமா யாதொரு வேலையைச் செய்தால், அந்த ஆத்துமாவை அவன் ஜனத்தின் நடுவிலே வைக்காமல் அழிப்பேன்.

30. And every soul that doeth any manner of work on that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

31. அதில் நீங்கள் எந்த வேலையும் செய்யாதிருப்பது உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்தியகட்டளை.

31. No manner of work shall ye do: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

32. அது உங்களுக்கு விசேஷித்த ஓய்வு நாள்; அதில் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தவேண்டும்; அந்த மாதத்தின் ஒன்பதாந்தேதி சாயங்காலம் துவக்கி, மறுநாள் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் உங்கள் ஓய்வை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள் என்றார்.

32. A sabbath of rest shall it be unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls. On the ninth of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

33. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

33. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

34. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அந்த ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாந்தேதிமுதல் ஏழுநாளளவும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆசரிக்கும் கூடாரப்பண்டிகையாயிருப்பதாக.
யோவான் 7:2

34. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths seven days to Jehovah.

35. முதலாம் நாள் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாள்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யலாகாது.

35. On the first day there shall be a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

36. ஏழுநாளும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்; எட்டாம் நாள் உங்களுக்குச் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்தநாள்; அதிலே கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலி செலுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்; அது ஆசரிக்கப்படும் நாள்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

36. Seven days ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah; on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah: it is a solemn assembly; no manner of servile work shall ye do.

37. நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஓய்வுநாட்களில் செலுத்துவதும் தவிர, நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் படைக்கிற உங்கள் எல்லாக் காணிக்கைகளும் பொருத்தனைகளும் உற்சாகபலிகளும் தவிர,

37. These are the set feasts of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, and an oblation, a sacrifice, and drink-offerings, everything upon its day;

38. நீங்கள் அந்தந்த நாளுக்குத்தக்கதாய்க் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலி, போஜனபலி, இரத்தபலி, பானபலி முதலானவைகளைச் செலுத்தும்படி சபைகூடி வந்து, பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிப்பதற்காக நீங்கள் கூறவேண்டிய கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகைகள் இவைகளே.

38. besides the sabbaths of Jehovah, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your voluntary offerings, which ye give to Jehovah.

39. நிலத்தின் பலனை நீங்கள் சேர்த்து வைக்கும் ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாந்தேதிமுதல் கர்த்தருக்குப் பண்டிகையை ஏழுநாள் ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; முதலாம் நாளிலும் ஓய்வு; எட்டாம் நாளிலும் ஓய்வு.

39. But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the produce of the land, ye shall celebrate the feast of Jehovah seven days: on the first day there shall be rest, and on the eighth day there shall be rest.

40. முதல் நாளிலே அலங்காரமான விருட்சங்களின் கனிகளையும் பேரீச்சின் ஓலைகளையும் தழைத்திருக்கிற விருட்சங்களின் கிளைகளையும் ஆற்றலரிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் ஏழுநாளும் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருங்கள்.

40. And ye shall take on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, palm branches and the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days.

41. வருஷந்தோறும் ஏழுநாள் கர்த்தருக்கு இந்தப் பண்டிகையை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் செல்லவேண்டிய நித்திய கட்டளை; ஏழாம் மாதத்தில் அதை ஆசரிக்கவேண்டும்.

41. And ye shall celebrate it as a feast to Jehovah seven days in the year: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations; in the seventh month shall ye celebrate it.

42. நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினபோது, அவர்களைக் கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணினதை உங்கள் சந்ததியார் அறியும்படிக்கு,

42. In booths shall ye dwell seven days; all born in Israel shall dwell in booths;

43. ஏழுநாள் கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலில் பிறந்தவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கூடாரங்களில் வாசம்பண்ணவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

43. that your generations may know that I caused the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

44. அப்படியே மோசே கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகைகளை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குத் தெரிவித்தான்.

44. And Moses declared the set feasts of Jehovah to the children of Israel.
