1. பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the LORDE talked wt Moses, & saide:

2. நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

2. Speake vnto the childre of Israel, & saye vnto them: I am the LORDE youre God,

3. நீங்கள் குடியிருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், நான் உங்களை அழைத்துப்போகிற கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும்,

3. Ye shall not do after ye workes of the lande of Egipte, wherin ye dwelt: nether after the doynges of the lande of Canaan, in to the which I will brynge you. Ye shal not walke after their customes,

4. என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

4. but after my lawes shall ye do, & my statutes shall ye kepe, that ye maye walke therin: for I am the LORDE youre God.

5. ஆகையால் என் கட்டளைகளையும் என் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்; அவைகளின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனும் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

5. Therfore shal ye kepe my statutes and my lawes. For the man that doth the same, shal liue therin, for I am the LORDE.

6. ஒருவனும் தனக்கு நெருங்கின இனமாகிய ஒருத்தியை நிர்வாணமாக்கும்படி அவளைச் சேரலாகாது; நான் கர்த்தர்.

6. No ma shal come at his nexte kinswoma, to vncouer hir preuytie: for I am ye LORDE.

7. உன் தகப்பனையாவது உன் தாயையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தாயானவள்; அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது.

7. Thou shalt not vncouer ye preuytie of yi father & of yi mother. It is thy mother, therfore shalt thou not vncouer hir preuytie.

8. உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அது உன் தகப்பனுடைய நிர்வாணம்.

8. Thou shalt not vncouer ye preuytie of yi fathers wife, for it is yi fathers preuytie.

9. உன் தகப்பனுக்காவது உன் தாய்க்காவது வீட்டிலாகிலும் புறத்திலாகிலும் பிறந்த குமாரத்தியாகிய உன் சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது.

9. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy sister, which is the doughter of yi father or of yi mother, whether she be borne at home or without.

10. உன் குமாரனுடைய மகளையாவது உன் குமாரத்தியினுடைய மகளையாவது நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அது உன்னுடைய நிர்வாணம்.

10. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy sonnes doughter, or of thy doughters doughter, for it is thine awne preuytie.

11. உன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியினிடத்தில் உன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பிறந்த குமாரத்தியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உனக்குச் சகோதரி.

11. Thou shalt not vncouer ye preuytie of yi fathers wiues doughter, which is borne vnto him, and is thy sister.

12. உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுக்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவள்.

12. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy fathers sister, for it is thy fathers nexte kynswoman.

13. உன் தாயினுடைய சகோதரியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் தாய்க்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவள்.

13. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy mothers sister, for it is yi mothers nexte kynswoman.

14. உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரனை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவன் மனைவியைச் சேராயாக; அவள் உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரி.

14. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy fathers brother, to take his wife, for she is thine awnte.

15. உன் மருமகளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவள் உன் குமாரனுக்கு மனைவி, அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது.

15. Thou shalt not vncouer ye preuytie of yi doughter in lawe, for she is yi sonnes wife, therfore shalt thou not vncouer hir preuitie.

16. உன் சகோதரனுடைய மனைவியை நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அது உன் சகோதரனுடைய நிர்வாணம்.

16. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy brothers wife, for it is thy brothers preuytie.

17. ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையும் அவள் மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கலாகாது; அவளுடைய குமாரரின் மகளையும் குமாரத்தியின் மகளையும் நிர்வாணமாக்குபடி விவாகம்பண்ணலாகாது; இவர்கள் அவளுக்கு நெருங்கின இனமானவர்கள்; அது முறைகேடு.

17. Thou shalt not vncouer the preuytie of thy wife and of hir doughter also, nether shalt thou take hir sonnes doughter or hir doughters doughter, to vncouer their preuyties, for they are hir nexte kynswomen. And it is wickednesse.

18. உன் மனைவி உயிரோடிருக்கையில், அவளுக்கு உபத்திரவமாக அவள் சகோதரியையும் நிர்வாணமாக்கும்பொருட்டு அவளை விவாகம் பண்ணலாகாது.

18. Thou shalt not take a wife and hir sister also, to vncouer hir preuytie, whyle she is yet alyue.

19. ஸ்திரீயானவள் சூதகத்தால் விலக்கத்திலிருக்கையில், அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்க அவளோடே சேராதே.

19. Thou shalt not go vnto a woman to vncouer hir preuytie, so longe as she hath hir disease in hir vnclennesse.

20. பிறனுடைய மனைவியோடே சேரும்படி சயனித்து, அவளால் உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளவேண்டாம்.

20. Thou shalt not lye with thy neghbours wife to medle with her, for to defyle thy self withall.

21. நீ உன் சந்ததியில் யாரையாகிலும் மோளேகுக்கென்று தீக்கடக்கும்படி இடங்கொடாதே; உன் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதே; நான் கர்த்தர்.

21. Thou shalt not geue of thy sede also, to be burnt vnto Moloch, lest thou vnhalowe the name of thy God, for I am the LORDE.

22. பெண்ணோடு சம்யோகம் பண்ணுகிறதுபோல ஆணோடே சம்யோகம் பண்ணவேண்டாம்; அது அருவருப்பானது.

22. Thou shalt not lye with mankynde as with womankynde, for yt is abhominacion.

23. யாதொரு மிருகத்தோடும் நீ புணர்ச்சிசெய்து, அதினாலே உன்னைத்தீட்டுப்படுத்த வேண்டாம்; ஸ்திரீயானவள் மிருகத்தோடே புணரும்படி அதற்கு முன்பாக நிற்கலாகாது; அது அருவருப்பான தாறுமாறு.

23. Thou shalt lye with no maner of beest, to defyle yi self therwith. And no woman shal haue to do wt a beest, for it is abhominacion.

24. இவைகளில் ஒன்றினாலும் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாதிருங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் முன்னின்று துரத்திவிடுகிற ஜாதிகள் இவைகளெல்லாவற்றினாலும் தங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள்; தேசமும் தீட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

24. Ye shal defyle youre selues in none of these thinges. For ye Heithen (whom I wil cast out before you) haue stayned them selues in all these,

25. ஆகையால் அதின் அக்கிரமத்தை விசாரிப்பேன்; தேசம் தன் குடிகளைக் கக்கிப்போடும்.

25. and the londe is defyled there thorow. And their wickednesse wyl I vyset vpo them, so that the londe shal spue out the indwellers therof.

26. இந்த அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குமுன் இருந்த அந்த தேசத்தின் மனிதர் செய்ததினாலே தேசம் தீட்டாயிற்று.

26. Therfore kepe ye my statutes and lawes, and do not one of these abhominacions, nether one of youre awne selues ner the straunger amonge you

27. இப்பொழுதும் உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்த ஜாதிகளை தேசம் கக்கிப்போட்டதுபோல, நீங்கள் அதைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்போது அது உங்களையும் கக்கிப்போடாதபடிக்கு,

27. (for all soch abhominacions haue ye people of this lode done which were before you, & haue defyled the lande)

28. நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளையும் என் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொண்டு, தேசத்திலே பிறந்தவனானாலும் உங்கள் நடுவே தங்குகிற அந்நியனானாலும் இந்த அருவருப்புகளில் ஒன்றையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

28. that the lande spue not you out also, whan ye haue defyled it, as it spewed out the Heythe, that were there before you.

29. இப்படிபட்ட அருவருப்பானவைகளில் யாதொன்றை யாராவது செய்தால், செய்த அந்த ஆத்துமாக்கள் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டு போவார்கள்.

29. For who so euer commytte these abhominacios, the same soules shalbe roted out from amonge their people.

30. ஆகையால் உங்களுக்குமுன் செய்யப்பட்ட அருவருப்பான முறைமைகளில் யாதொன்றை நீங்கள் செய்து, அவைகளால் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு என் கட்டளையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

30. Therfore kepe ye my statutes, that ye do not after ye abhominable customes, which were before you, that ye be not defyled therwith: For I am the LORDE youre God.
