1. ஆரோனின் இரண்டு குமாரர் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியிலே சேர்ந்து மரித்துப்போனபின்பு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near before the LORD and died;

2. கிருபாசனத்தின்மேல் ஒரு மேகத்தில் நான் காணப்படுவேன்; ஆதலால் உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் சாகாதபடி, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே திரைக்கு உட்புறத்திலிருக்கிற பெட்டியின்மேலுள்ள கிருபாசன மூடிக்கு முன்பாகச் சகல வேளையிலும் வரவேண்டாம் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்.

2. and the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron, thy brother, that he not enter at all times into the sanctuary inside the veil before the seat of reconciliation, which [is] upon the ark, that he not die; for I will appear in the cloud above the seat of reconciliation.

3. ஆரோன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டிய விதமாவது: அவன் ஒரு காளையைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடாவைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகவும் செலுத்திப் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டும்.

3. Thus shall Aaron come into the holy [place]: with a young bullock as sin and a ram as a burnt offering.

4. He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen underwear upon his flesh and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he cover himself. These [are] holy garments; and he shall wash his flesh with water and put them on.

5. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய சபையாரிடத்திலே, பாவநிவாரணபலியாக இரண்டு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாக ஒரு ஆட்டுகடாவையும் வாங்கக்கடவன்.

5. And he shall take of the congregation of the sons of Israel two he goats as the sin and one ram as a burnt offering.

6. பின்பு ஆரோன் தனக்காகவும் தன் வீட்டாருக்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படிக்கு, தன்னுடைய பாவநிவாரணபலியின் காளையைச் சேரப்பண்ணி,

6. And Aaron shall cause the bullock of his sin to be brought, and make reconciliation for himself and for his house.

7. அந்த இரண்டு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் கொண்டுவந்து, ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரவாசலிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் நிறுத்தி,

7. After that, he shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD [at] the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

8. அந்த இரண்டு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையுங்குறித்துக் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஒரு சீட்டும், போக்காடாக விடப்படும் வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவுக்கென்று ஒரு சீட்டும் போட்டு,

8. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two he goats, one lot for the LORD and the other lot for Azazel.

9. கர்த்தருக்கென்று சீட்டு விழுந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகச் சேரப்பண்ணி,

9. And Aaron shall cause the he goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell to be brought and offer him for the sin.

10. போக்காடாக விடப்படச் சீட்டு விழுந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவை, அதைக் கொண்டு பாவநிவிர்த்தி உண்டாக்கவும் அதைப் போக்காடாக வனாந்தரத்திலே போகவிடவும், கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உயிரோடே நிறுத்தி;

10. But the he goat on which the lot fell for Azazel shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make the reconciliation upon him [and] to send him to Azazel into the wilderness.

11. பின்பு ஆரோன் தனக்காவும் தன் வீட்டாருக்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படி, தன்னுடைய பாவநிவாரணத்துக்கான காளையைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அதைக்கொன்று,

11. And Aaron shall cause the bullock of his own sin to be brought and shall make the reconciliation for himself and for his house and shall kill the bullock of his own sin.

12. கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியிலிருக்கும் பலிபீடத்தின்மேலுள்ள நெருப்புத்தணலினால் தூபகலசத்தை நிரப்பி, பொடியாக்கப்பட்ட சுகந்த தூபவர்க்கத்திலே தன் கைப்பிடிகள் நிறைய எடுத்து, திரைக்கு உட்புறமாகக் கொண்டுவந்து,

12. After that he shall take the censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD and his hands full of aromatic incense beaten small and bring [it] inside the veil.

13. தான் சாகாதபடிக்கு தூபமேகமானது சாட்சிப்பெட்டியின்மேல் இருக்கும் கிருபாசனத்தை மூடத்தக்கதாக, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அக்கினியின்மேல் தூபவர்க்கத்தைப் போடக்கடவன்.

13. And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of the incense shall cover the seat of reconciliation that [is] upon the testimony, and he shall not die.

14. பின்பு காளையின் இரத்தத்திலே கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, கீழ்ப்புறமாக நின்று, தன் விரலினால் கிருபாசனத்தின்மேல் தெளித்து, அந்த இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்துக் கிருபாசனத்துக்கு முன்பாக ஏழுதரம் தன் விரலினால் தெளிக்கக்கடவன்.

14. Then he shall take of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle [it] with his finger towards the seat of reconciliation eastward; towards the seat of reconciliation he shall sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

15. பின்பு ஜனத்தினுடைய பாவநிவாரணபலியான வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவை அவன் கொன்று, அதின் இரத்தத்தைத் திரைக்கு உட்புறமாகக் கொண்டுவந்து, காளையின் இரத்தத்தைத் தெளித்தது போல, அதின் இரத்தத்தையும் கிருபாசனத்தின்மேலும் அதற்கு முன்பாகவும் தெளித்து,

15. After that, he shall kill the goat of the sin of the people and bring its blood inside the veil and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it upon the seat of reconciliation and before the seat of reconciliation;

16. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய தீட்டுகளினிமித்தமும், அவர்களுடைய சகல பாவங்களினாலும் உண்டான அவர்களுடைய மீறுதல்களினிமித்தமும், பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்காகப் பிராயச்சித்தஞ்செய்து, அவர்களிடத்தில் அவர்களுடைய தீட்டுகளுக்குள்ளே நிற்கிற ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்காகவும் அப்படியே செய்யக்கடவன்.

16. and he shall cleanse the sanctuary of the uncleanness of the sons of Israel and of their rebellions and of all their sins; in the same manner so shall he do for the tabernacle of the testimony, which dwells among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17. பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படி அவன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, தனக்காகவும் தன் வீட்டாருக்காகவும் இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் அனைவருக்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்து, வெளியே வருமளவும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் ஒருவரும் இருக்கலாகாது.

17. And no man shall be in the tabernacle of the testimony when he enters in to make reconciliation in the sanctuary until he comes out and has made reconciliation for himself and for his household and for all the congregation of Israel.

18. பின்பு அவன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் இருக்கிற பலிபீடத்தண்டை வந்து, அதற்காகப் பிராயச்சித்தஞ்செய்து, காளையின் இரத்தத்திலும் வெள்ளாட்டுக் கடாவின் இரத்தத்திலும் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, பலிபீடத்துக் கொம்புகளின் மேல் சுற்றிலும் பூசி,

18. And he shall go out unto the altar that [is] before the LORD and reconcile it and shall take of the blood of the bullock and of the blood of the he goat and put [it] upon the horns of the altar round about.

19. தன் விரலினால் அந்த இரத்தத்தில் எடுத்து, ஏழுதரம் அதின்மேல் தெளித்து, அதை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் தீட்டுகள் நீங்கச் சுத்திகரித்து, பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தக்கடவன்.

19. And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times and cleanse it and sanctify it from the uncleanness of the sons of Israel.

20. அவன் இப்படிப் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்கும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்கும் பலிபீடத்துக்கும் பிராயச்சித்தஞ்செய்து தீர்ந்தபின்பு, உயிரோடிருக்கிற வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவைச் சேரப்பண்ணி,

20. And when he has made an end of reconciling the sanctuary and the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, he shall cause the live he goat to be brought;

21. அதின் தலையின்மேல் ஆரோன் தன் இரண்டு கைகளையும் வைத்து, அதின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய சகல அக்கிரமங்களையும் அவர்களுடைய எல்லாப் பாவங்களினாலும் உண்டான அவர்களுடைய சகல மீறுதல்களையும் அறிக்கையிட்டு, அவைகளை வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவினுடைய தலையின்மேல் சுமத்தி, அதை அதற்கான ஆள்வசமாய் வனாந்தரத்துக்கு அனுப்பிவிடக்கடவன்.
எபிரேயர் 10:4

21. and Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live he goat and confess over it all the iniquities of the sons of Israel and all their rebellions and all their sins, putting them thus upon the head of the he goat and shall send [him] away into the wilderness by the hand of [a] man prepared [for this];

22. அந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமங்களையெல்லாம் தன்மேல் சுமந்துகொண்டு, குடியில்லாத தேசத்துக்குப் போவதாக; அவன் அந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவை வனாந்தரத்திலே போக விடக்கடவன்.

22. and that he goat shall bear upon itself all their iniquities unto an uninhabitable land; and he shall send the he goat into the wilderness.

23. ஆரோன் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்குள் வந்து, தான் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, உடுத்தியிருந்த சணல்நூல் வஸ்திரங்களைக் களைந்து, அங்கே வைத்துவிட்டு,

23. After that, Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the testimony and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on to enter into the sanctuary, and shall put them there.

24. பரிசுத்த இடத்திலே ஜலத்தில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணி, தன் வஸ்திரங்களை உடுத்திக்கொண்டு, வெளியே வந்து, தன் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியையும் ஜனங்களின் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியையும் இட்டு, தனக்காகவும் ஜனங்களுக்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்து,

24. [Then] he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place and put on his garments and come forth after that and make his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people and make reconciliation for himself and for the people.

25. பாவநிவாரணபலியின் கொழுப்பைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனிக்கக்கடவன்.

25. And the fat of the sin he shall incense upon the altar.

26. போகவிடப்படும் போக்காடாகிய வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவைக் கொண்டுபோய் விட்டவன், தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, ஜலத்தில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணி, பின்பு பாளயத்துக்குள் வருவானாக.

26. And he that took the he goat to Azazel shall wash his clothes and bathe his flesh with water and afterward come into the camp.

27. பாவநிவிர்த்திக்கென்று பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் இரத்தம் கொண்டுவரப்பட்ட பாவநிவாரணபலியாகிய காளையையும், பாவநிவாரணபலியாகிய வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாவையும், பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே கொண்டுபோய், அவைகளின் தோலையும், மாம்சத்தையும், சாணியையும் அக்கினியிலே சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவர்கள்.
எபிரேயர் 13:11-13

27. And he shall take outside the camp the bullock of the sin and the goat of the sin, whose blood was brought in to make the reconciliation in the sanctuary; and they shall burn in the fire their skins and their flesh and their dung.

28. அவைகளைச் சுட்டெரித்தவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, ஜலத்திலே ஸ்நானம்பண்ணி, பின்பு பாளயத்துக்குள் வருவானாக.

28. And he that burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

29. ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாம் தேதியிலே, சுதேசியானாலும், உங்களுக்குள் தங்கும் பரதேசியானாலும், தங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்துவதுமன்றி, ஒரு வேலையும் செய்யாமல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; இது உங்களுக்கு நித்திய கட்டளையாய் இருக்கக்கடவது.
அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 27:9

29. And you shall hold this as a perpetual statute: In the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls and do no work at all, whether it is a natural [of your own country] or a stranger that sojourns among you;

30. கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்கள் பாவமெல்லாம் நீங்கிச் சுத்திகரிக்கப்படும்படி, அந்நாளில் உங்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும் பொருட்டு, உங்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யப்படும்.
எபிரேயர் 9:7-12-28

30. for on that day he shall reconcile you to cleanse you [that] ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

31. உங்களுக்கு அது விசேஷித்த ஓய்வு நாள்; அதிலே உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தக்கடவீர்கள்; இது நித்திய கட்டளை.

31. It [shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a perpetual statute.

32. அபிஷேகம் பெற்றவனும், தன் தகப்பன் பட்டத்திற்கு வந்து ஆசாரிய ஊழியஞ்செய்யப் பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணப்பட்டவனுமாகிய ஆசாரியனே பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன். அவன் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களாகிய சணல்நூல் வஸ்திரங்களை உடுத்திக்கொண்டு,

32. And the reconciliation shall be made by the priest who is anointed and whose hand has been filled to be priest in the place of his father; and he shall put on the linen clothes, the holy garments;

33. பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்கும் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்துக்கும், பலிபீடத்துக்கும், பிராயச்சித்தஞ்செய்து, ஆசாரியருக்காகவும் சபையின் சகல ஜனங்களுக்காகவும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்.

33. and he shall reconcile the holy sanctuary and reconcile the tabernacle of the testimony; he shall also reconcile the altar and the priests and all the people of the congregation.

34. இப்படி வருஷத்தில் ஒருமுறை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்காக, அவர்களுடைய சகல பாவங்களுக்கும் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்வது, உங்களுக்கு நித்திய கட்டளையாயிருக்கக்கடவது என்று சொல் என்றார். கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே ஆரோன் செய்தான்.

34. And you shall hold this as a perpetual statute to reconcile the sons of Israel of all their sins once a year. And Moses did as the LORD commanded him.:
