1. கர்த்தராகிய நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணின கோரேசுக்கு முன்பாக ஜாதிகளைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தி, ராஜாக்களின் இடைக்கட்டுகளை அவிழ்க்கும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கு முன்பாக வாசல்கள் பூட்டப்படாதிருக்க, கதவுகளைத் திறந்து வைக்கும்படிக்கும், அவனைப் பார்த்து, அவன் வலதுகையைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, அவனுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதாவது:

1. Thus saith the LORD to his Messiah, to Cyrus, whom I have taken by his right hand to subdue Gentiles before him and to loose the loins of kings. To open before him the [two-leaved] gates; and the gates shall not be shut:

2. I will go before thee and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

3. And I will give thee the hidden treasures and the well guarded secrets that thou may know that I [am] the LORD, the God of Israel, who gives [thee] thy name.

4. வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இருப்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்து, அந்தகாரத்தில் இருக்கிற பொக்கிஷங்களையும், ஒளிப்பிடத்தில் இருக்கிற புதையல்களையும் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்; நான் என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபினிமித்தமும், நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இஸ்ரவேலினிமித்தமும், நான் உன்னைப் பெயர்சொல்லி அழைத்து, நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், உனக்கு நாமம் தரித்தேன்.

4. For Jacob my servant's sake and Israel my elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

5. நானே கர்த்தர், வேறொருவர் இல்லை; என்னைத்தவிர தேவன் இல்லை.

5. I am the LORD, and [there is] no one else; [there is] no God beside me; I shall gird thee, though thou hast not known me

6. என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்; நானே கர்த்தர், வேறொருவர் இல்லை.

6. that it may be known from the rising of the sun and from where it goes down that [there is] no one beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] no one else.

7. ஒளியைப் படைத்து, இருளையும் உண்டாக்கினேன், சமாதானத்தைப்படைத்து தீங்கையும் உண்டாக்குகிறவர் நானே; கர்த்தராகிய நானே இவைகளையெல்லாம் செய்கிறவர்.

7. I form the light and create darkness; I make peace and create evil: I [am] the LORD that does all this.

8. வானங்களே, உயர இருந்து சொரியுங்கள்; ஆகாயமண்டலங்கள் நீதியைப் பொழியக்கடவது; பூமி திறவுண்டு, இரட்சிப்பின் கனியைத்தந்து, நீதியுங்கூட விளைவதாக; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இவைகளை உண்டாக்குகிறேன்.

8. Release, ye heavens, from above, and the clouds shall pour down righteousness; let the earth open [up], and let salvation and righteousness bear their fruit; let them produce [fruit] together; I the LORD have created it.

9. மண்ணோடுகளுக்கொத்த ஓடாயிருந்தும், தன்னை உருவாக்கினவரோடே வழக்காடுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ! களிமண் தன்னை உருவாக்கினவனை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறாயென்று சொல்லத்தகுமோ? உன் கிரியையானது: அவருக்குக் கைகள் இல்லையென்று சொல்லலாமோ?

9. Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! [Let] the potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What doth thou make; thy work [has] no form?

10. தகப்பனை நோக்கி: ஏன் ஜநிப்பித்தாய் என்றும், தாயை நோக்கி: ஏன் பெற்றாய் என்றும் சொல்லுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ!

10. Woe unto him that says unto [his] father, Why dost thou beget? or to the woman, Why hast thou brought forth?

11. இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரும் அவனை உருவாக்கினவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: வருங்காரியங்களை என்னிடத்தில் கேளுங்கள்; என் பிள்ளைகளைக்குறித்தும், என் கரங்களின் கிரியைகளைக்குறித்தும் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுங்கள்.

11. Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come; inquire of me concerning my sons and concerning the work of my hands.

12. நான் பூமியை உண்டுபண்ணி, நானே அதின்மேல் இருக்கிற மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்தேன்; என் கரங்கள் வானங்களை விரித்தன; அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையையும் நான் கட்டளையிட்டேன்.

12. I have made the earth, and created man upon it, I, [even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens and I have commanded all their host.

13. நான் நீதியின்படி அவனை எழுப்பினேன்; அவன் வழிகளையெல்லாம் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவேன்; அவன் என் நகரத்தைக் கட்டி, சிறைப்பட்டுப்போன என்னுடையவர்களைக் கிரயமில்லாமலும் பரிதானமில்லாமலும் விடுதலையாக்குவான் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

13. I have awakened him in righteousness, and I will make straight all his ways; he shall build my city, and he shall loose my captives, not for price nor for bribes, saith the LORD of the hosts.

14. எகிப்தின் சம்பாத்தியமும், எத்தியோப்பியாவின் வர்த்தகலாபமும், நெடிய ஆட்களாகிய சபேயரின் வர்த்தகலாபமும், உன்னிடத்திற்குத் தாண்டிவந்து, உன்னுடையதாகும்; அவர்கள் உன் பின்னே சென்று, விலங்கிடப்பட்டு நடந்துவந்து: உன்னுடனே மாத்திரம் தேவன் இருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவரையல்லாமல் வேறே தேவன் இல்லையென்றும் சொல்லி, உன்னைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, உன்னை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணுவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

14. Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee; they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying], Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] no one else; [there is] none [other] beside God.

16. They shall be ashamed and also confounded, all of them; all the makers of idols shall go forth ashamed.

17. இஸ்ரவேலோ, கர்த்தராலே நித்திய இரட்சிப்பினால் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்; நீங்கள் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் வெட்கப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இருப்பீர்கள்.

17. Israel is saved in the LORD, eternal salvation; ye shall never be ashamed nor confounded through all ages.

18. வானங்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்து பூமியையும் வெறுமையாயிருக்கச் சிருஷ்டியாமல் அதைக் குடியிருப்புக்காகச் செய்து படைத்து, அதை உருவேற்படுத்தின தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: நானே கர்த்தர், வெறொருவர் இல்லை.

18. For thus has the LORD said that creates the heavens; God himself that forms the earth, he who made it and established it. He did not create it in vain; he created it to be inhabited; I [am] the LORD; and [there] is no one else.

19. நான் அந்தரங்கத்திலும், பூமியின் அந்தகாரமான இடத்திலும் பேசினதில்லை; விருதாவாக என்னைத் தேடுங்களென்று நான் யாக்கோபின் சந்ததிக்குச் சொன்னதுமில்லை; நான் நீதியைப் பேசி, யதார்த்தமானவைகளை அறிவிக்கிற கர்த்தர்.

19. I have not spoken in secret in [a] dark place of the earth. Not without substance did I say unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me; I [am] the LORD who speaks righteousness, who declares things that are right.

20. ஜாதிகளினின்று தப்பினவர்களே, கூட்டங்கூடி வாருங்கள்; ஏகமாய்ச் சேருங்கள்; தங்கள் விக்கிரகமாகிய மரத்தைச் சுமந்து, இரட்சிக்கமாட்டாத தேவனைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் அறிவில்லாதவர்கள்.

20. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, all ye [that are] escaped of the Gentiles. They have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image and pray unto the god [that] does not save.

21. நீங்கள் தெரிவிக்கும்படி சேர்ந்து, ஏகமாய் யோசனைபண்ணுங்கள்; இதைப் பூர்வகாலமுதற்கொண்டு விளங்கப்பண்ணி, அந்நாள் துவக்கி இதை அறிவித்தவர் யார்? கர்த்தராகிய நான் அல்லவோ? நீதிபரரும் இரட்சகருமாகிய என்னையல்லாமல் வேறே தேவன் இல்லை; என்னைத்தவிர வேறொருவரும் இல்லை.

21. Tell ye, and bring [them] near; [yea], let them take counsel together; who caused this to be heard from the beginning and has declared it from that time, except me, the LORD? and [there is] no God beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] no one besides me.

22. பூமியின் எல்லையெங்குமுள்ளவர்களே, என்னை நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இரட்சிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; நானே தேவன், வேறொருவரும் இல்லை.

22. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I [am] God, and [there is] no one else.

23. முழங்கால் யாவும் எனக்கு முன்பாக முடங்கும், நாவு யாவும் என்னை முன்னிட்டு ஆணையிடும் என்று நான் என்னைக்கொண்டே ஆணையிட்டிருக்கிறேன்; இந்த நீதியான வார்த்தை என் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டது; இது மாறுவது இல்லையென்கிறார்.

23. I have sworn by myself; the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow; every tongue shall swear.

24. கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மாத்திரம் நீதியும் வல்லமையுமுண்டென்று அவனவன் சொல்லி அவரிடத்தில் வந்து சேருவான்; அவருக்கு விரோதமாய் எரிச்சல் கொண்டிருக்கிற யாவரும் வெட்கப்படுவார்கள்.

24. And unto me he shall say, Surely in the LORD [is] the righteousness and the strength; until he shall come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

25. இஸ்ரவேலின் சந்ததியாகிய யாவரும் கர்த்தருக்குள் நீதிமான்களாக்கப்பட்டு மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்.

25. In the LORD shall all the generation of Israel be justified and shall glory.:
