1. உஷ்ணகாலத்திலே உறைந்த பனியும், அறுப்புக்காலத்திலே மழையும் தகாததுபோல, மூடனுக்கு மகிமை தகாது.

21. கரிகள் தழலுக்கும், விறகு நெருப்புக்கும் ஏதுவானதுபோல, வாதுப்பிரியன் சண்டைகளை மூட்டுகிறதற்கு ஏதுவானவன்.

21. As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife.
