1. பின்பு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய்: எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடு.

1. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Go in unto Pharaoh, and thou hast spoken unto him, Thus said Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, Send My people away, and they serve me,

2. நீ அவர்களை விடமாட்டேன் என்று இன்னும் நிறுத்திவைத்தாயாகில்,

2. for, if thou art refusing to send away, and art still keeping hold upon them,

3. கர்த்தருடைய கரம் வெளியிலிருக்கிற உன் மிருகஜீவன்களாகிய குதிரைகளின்மேலும் கழுதைகளின்மேலும் ஒட்டகங்களின்மேலும் ஆடுமாடுகளின் மேலும் இருக்கும்; மகா கொடிதான கொள்ளை நோய் உண்டாகும்.

3. lo, the hand of Jehovah is on thy cattle which [are] in the field, on horses, on asses, on camels, on herd, and on flock -- a pestilence very grievous.

4. கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் எகிப்தியரின் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் பண்ணுவார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு உரியவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஒன்றும் சாவதில்லை என்றார்.

4. 'And Jehovah hath separated between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt, and there doth not die a thing of all the sons of Israel's;

5. மேலும், நாளைக்குக் கர்த்தர் இந்தக் காரியத்தை தேசத்தில் செய்வார் என்று சொல்லி, கர்த்தர் ஒரு காலத்தைக் குறித்தார் என்றும், எபிரெயருடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றும் அவனிடத்தில் சொல் என்றார்.

5. and Jehovah setteth an appointed time, saying, To-morrow doth Jehovah do this thing in the land.'

6. மறுநாளில் கர்த்தர் அந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்தார்; எகிப்தியருடைய மிருகஜீவன்கள் எல்லாம் செத்துப்போயிற்று; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் மிருகஜீவன்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் சாகவில்லை.

6. And Jehovah doth this thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt die, and of the cattle of the sons of Israel not one hath died;

7. பார்வோன் விசாரித்து, இஸ்ரவேலரின் மிருகஜீவன்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் சாகவில்லை என்று அறிந்தான். பார்வோனுடைய இருதயமோ கடினப்பட்டது; அவன் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடவில்லை.

7. and Pharaoh sendeth, and lo, not even one of the cattle of Israel hath died, and the heart of Pharaoh is hard, and he hath not sent the people away.

8. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: உங்கள் கைப்பிடி நிறைய சூளையின் சாம்பலை அள்ளிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; மோசே அதைப் பார்வோனுடைய கண்களுக்குமுன் வானத்திற்கு நேராக இறைக்கக்கடவன்.

8. And Jehovah saith unto Moses and unto Aaron, 'Take to you the fulness of your hands [of] soot of a furnace, and Moses hath sprinkled it towards the heavens, before the eyes of Pharaoh,

9. அது எகிப்து தேசம் மீதெங்கும் தூசியாகி, எகிப்து தேசமெங்கும் மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எரிபந்தமான கொப்புளங்களை எழும்பப்பண்ணும் என்றார்.

9. and it hath become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and it hath become on man and on cattle a boil breaking forth [with] blains, in all the land of Egypt.'

10. அப்படியே அவர்கள் சூளையின் சாம்பலை அள்ளிக்கொண்டு, பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து நின்றார்கள். மோசே அதை வானத்துக்கு நேராக இறைத்தான்; அப்பொழுது மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எரிபந்தமான கொப்புளங்கள் எழும்பிற்று.

10. And they take the soot of the furnace, and stand before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkleth it towards the heavens, and it is a boil [with] blains, breaking forth, on man and on beast;

11. அந்தக் கொப்புளங்கள் மந்திரவாதிகள்மேலும் எகிப்தியர் எல்லார்மேலும் உண்டானதினால், அந்தக் கொப்புளங்களின் நிமித்தம் மந்திரவாதிகளும் மோசேக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கக்கூடாதிருந்தது.

11. and the scribes have not been able to stand before Moses, because of the boil, for the boil hath been on the scribes, and on all the Egyptians.

12. ஆனாலும், கர்த்தர் மோசேயோடே சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே, கர்த்தர் பார்வோனின் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினார்; அவன் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவில்லை.

12. And Jehovah strengtheneth the heart of Pharaoh, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses.

13. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ அதிகாலமே எழுந்திருந்து போய், பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக நின்று: எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிடு.

13. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Rise early in the morning, and station thyself before Pharaoh, and thou hast said unto him, Thus said Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, Send My people away, and they serve Me,

14. விடாதிருந்தால், பூமியெங்கும் என்னைப்போல் வேறொருவரும் இல்லை என்பதை நீ அறியும்படிக்கு, இந்தமுறை நான் சகலவித வாதைகளையும் உன் இருதயத்திலும், உன் ஊழியக்காரர்மேலும் உன் ஜனங்கள்மேலும் அனுப்புவேன்.

14. for, at this time I am sending all My plagues unto thy heart, and on thy servants, and on thy people, so that thou knowest that there is none like Me in all the earth,

15. நீ பூமியில் இராமல் நாசமாய்ப்போகும்படி நான் என் கையை நீட்டி, உன்னையும் உன் ஜனங்களையும் கொள்ளை நோயினால் வாதிப்பேன்.

15. for now I have put forth My hand, and I smite thee, and thy people, with pestilence, and thou art hidden from the earth.

16. என்னுடைய வல்லமையை உன்னிடத்தில் காண்பிக்கும்படியாகவும், என் நாமம் பூமியிலெங்கும் பிரஸ்தாபமாகும்படியாகவும் உன்னை நிலைநிறுத்தினேன்.

16. 'And yet for this I have caused thee to stand, so as to show thee My power, and for the sake of declaring My Name in all the earth;

17. நீ என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடாமல், இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் உன்னை உயர்த்துகிறாயா?

17. still thou art exalting thyself against My people -- so as not to send them away;

18. எகிப்து தோன்றிய நாள்முதல் இதுவரைக்கும் அதில் பெய்யாத மிகவும் கொடிய கல்மழையை நாளை இந்நேரம் பெய்யப்பண்ணுவேன்.

18. lo, I am raining about [this] time to-morrow hail very grievous, such as hath not been in Egypt, even from the day of its being founded, even until now.

19. இப்பொழுதே ஆள் அனுப்பி, உன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வெளியில் உனக்கு இருக்கிற யாவையும் சேர்த்துக்கொள்; வீட்டிலே சேர்க்கப்படாமல் வெளியிலிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் மிருகமும் செத்துப்போகத்தக்கதாய் அந்தக் கல்மழை பெய்யும் என்று எபிரெயரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல் என்றார்.

19. 'And, now, send, strengthen thy cattle and all that thou hast in the field; every man and beast which is found in the field, and is not gathered into the house -- come down on them hath the hail, and they have died.'

20. பார்வோனுடைய ஊழியக்காரரில் எவன் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைக்குப் பயப்பட்டானோ, அவன் தன் வேலைக்காரரையும் தன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வீடுகளுக்கு ஓடிவரப்பண்ணினான்.

20. He who is fearing the word of Jehovah among the servants of Pharaoh hath caused his servants and his cattle to flee unto the houses;

21. எவன் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை மதியாமற்போனானோ, அவன் தன் வேலைக்காரரையும் தன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வெளியிலே விட்டுவிட்டான்.

21. and he who hath not set his heart unto the word of Jehovah leaveth his servants and his cattle in the field.

22. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருக்கிற சகலவிதமான பயிர் வகைகள்மேலும் கல்மழை பெய்ய, உன் கையை வானத்திற்கு நேராக நீட்டு என்றார்.

22. And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Stretch forth thy hand towards the heavens, and there is hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on beast, and on every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.'

23. அப்படியே மோசே தன் கோலை வானத்திற்கு நேராக நீட்டினான். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இடிமுழக்கங்களையும் கல்மழையையும் அனுப்பினார்; அக்கினி தரையின்மேல் வேகமாய் ஓடிற்று; எகிப்து தேசத்தின்மேல் கர்த்தர் கல்மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினார்;

23. And Moses stretcheth out his rod towards the heavens, and Jehovah hath given voices and hail, and fire goeth towards the earth, and Jehovah raineth hail on the land of Egypt,

24. கல்மழையும் கல்மழையோடே கலந்த அக்கினியும் மிகவும் கொடிதாயிருந்தது; எகிப்து தேசம் குடியேற்றப்பட்ட நாள்முதல் அதில் அப்படி ஒருபோதும் உண்டானதில்லை.

24. and there is hail, and fire catching itself in the midst of the hail, very grievous, such as hath not been in all the land of Egypt since it hath become a nation.

25. எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் மனிதரையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும், வெளியிலே இருந்தவைகள் எவைகளோ அவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் அந்தக் கல்மழை அழித்துப்போட்டது; அது வெளியின் பயிர்வகைகளையெல்லாம் அழித்து, வெளியின் மரங்களையெல்லாம் முறித்துப்போட்டது.

25. And the hail smiteth in all the land of Egypt all that [is] in the field, from man even unto beast, and every herb of the field hath the hail smitten, and every tree of the field it hath broken;

26. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் இருந்த கோசேன் நாட்டிலே மாத்திரம் கல்மழை இல்லாதிருந்தது.

26. only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel [are], there hath been no hail.

27. அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைப்பித்து: நான் இந்த முறை பாவம் செய்தேன்; கர்த்தர் நீதியுள்ளவர்; நானும் என் ஜனமும் துன்மார்க்கர்.

27. And Pharaoh sendeth, and calleth for Moses and for Aaron, and saith unto them, 'I have sinned this time, Jehovah [is] the Righteous, and I and my people [are] the Wicked,

28. இது போதும்; இந்த மகா இடிமுழக்கங்களும் கல்மழையும் ஒழியும்படிக்கு, கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுங்கள்; நான் உங்களைப் போகவிடுவேன், இனி உங்களுக்குத் தடையில்லை என்றான்.
அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 8:24

28. make ye supplication unto Jehovah, and plead that there be no voices of God and hail, and I send you away, and ye add not to remain.'

29. மோசே அவனை நோக்கி: நான் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டவுடனே, என் கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரிப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கங்கள் ஓய்ந்து கல்மழை நின்றுபோகும்; அதினால் பூமி கர்த்தருடையது என்பதை நீர் அறிவீர்.

29. And Moses saith unto him, 'At my going out of the city, I spread my palms unto Jehovah -- the voices cease, and the hail is not any more, so that thou knowest that the earth [is] Jehovah's;

30. ஆகிலும் நீரும் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரும் இன்னும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படமாட்டீர்கள் என்பதை அறிவேன் என்றான்.

30. but thou and thy servants -- I have known that ye are not yet afraid of the face of Jehovah God.'

31. அப்பொழுது வாற்கோதுமை கதிர்ப்பயிரும் சணல் தாள்ப்பயிருமாயிருந்தது; அதினால் சணலும் வாற்கோதுமையும் அழிக்கப்பட்டுப்போயிற்று.

31. And the flax and the barley have been smitten, for the barley [is] budding, and the flax forming flowers,

32. கோதுமையும் கம்பும் கதிர்விடாதிருந்ததால், அவைகள் அழிக்கப்படவில்லை.

32. and the wheat and the rye have not been smitten, for they are late.

33. மோசே பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன் கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரித்தான்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கமும் கல்மழையும் நின்றது; மழையும் பூமியில் பெய்யாமலிருந்தது.

33. And Moses goeth out from Pharaoh, [from] the city, and spreadeth his hands unto Jehovah, and the voices and the hail cease, and rain hath not been poured out to the earth;

34. மழையும் கல்மழையும் இடிமுழக்கமும் நின்றுபோனதைப் பார்வோன் கண்டபோது, அவனும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரரும் பின்னும் பாவம்செய்து, தங்கள் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

34. and Pharaoh seeth that the rain hath ceased, and the hail and the voices, and he continueth to sin, and hardeneth his heart, he and his servants;

35. கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே, பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது; அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைப் போகவிடவில்லை.

35. and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not sent the sons of Israel away, as Jehovah hath spoken by the hand of Moses.
