1. பின்பு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய்: எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடு.

1. The LORDE sayde vnto Moses: Go in to Pharao, and speake vnto him: Thus sayeth the LORDE God of ye Hebrues: let my people go, yt they maye serue me.

2. நீ அவர்களை விடமாட்டேன் என்று இன்னும் நிறுத்திவைத்தாயாகில்,

2. Yf thou wilt not, but holde them longer,

3. கர்த்தருடைய கரம் வெளியிலிருக்கிற உன் மிருகஜீவன்களாகிய குதிரைகளின்மேலும் கழுதைகளின்மேலும் ஒட்டகங்களின்மேலும் ஆடுமாடுகளின் மேலும் இருக்கும்; மகா கொடிதான கொள்ளை நோய் உண்டாகும்.

3. beholde, the hande of the LORDE shalbe vpon thy catell in the felde, vpon horses, vpon Asses, vpon Camels, vpon oxen, vpon shepe with a very sore pestilence.

4. கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் எகிப்தியரின் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் பண்ணுவார்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு உரியவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஒன்றும் சாவதில்லை என்றார்.

4. And ye LORDE shall make a diuysion betwene the catell of the Israelites & the Egipcians, so yt there shal nothinge dye of all that the children of Israel haue.

5. மேலும், நாளைக்குக் கர்த்தர் இந்தக் காரியத்தை தேசத்தில் செய்வார் என்று சொல்லி, கர்த்தர் ஒரு காலத்தைக் குறித்தார் என்றும், எபிரெயருடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றும் அவனிடத்தில் சொல் என்றார்.

5. And ye LORDE appoynted a tyme, and sayde: Tomorow shal the LORDE do this vpon earth.

6. மறுநாளில் கர்த்தர் அந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்தார்; எகிப்தியருடைய மிருகஜீவன்கள் எல்லாம் செத்துப்போயிற்று; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் மிருகஜீவன்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் சாகவில்லை.

6. And the LORDE dyd the same on the morow. And there dyed of all maner of catell of the Egipcians: but of ye catell of ye childre of Israel there dyed not one.

7. பார்வோன் விசாரித்து, இஸ்ரவேலரின் மிருகஜீவன்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் சாகவில்லை என்று அறிந்தான். பார்வோனுடைய இருதயமோ கடினப்பட்டது; அவன் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடவில்லை.

7. And Pharao sent thither, & beholde, there was not one of the catell of Israel deed. But Pharaos hert was hardened, so yt he let not ye people go.

8. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: உங்கள் கைப்பிடி நிறைய சூளையின் சாம்பலை அள்ளிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; மோசே அதைப் பார்வோனுடைய கண்களுக்குமுன் வானத்திற்கு நேராக இறைக்கக்கடவன்.

8. Then sayde ye LORDE vnto Moses & Aaron: Take youre handes full of asshes out of the fornace, & let Moses sprenkle it towarde heauen before Pharao,

9. அது எகிப்து தேசம் மீதெங்கும் தூசியாகி, எகிப்து தேசமெங்கும் மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எரிபந்தமான கொப்புளங்களை எழும்பப்பண்ணும் என்றார்.
ரோமர் 16:2

9. that it maye be dust in all the lande of Egipte, & that there maye be sores & blaynes vpon men & vpon catell in all the lande of Egipte.

10. அப்படியே அவர்கள் சூளையின் சாம்பலை அள்ளிக்கொண்டு, பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து நின்றார்கள். மோசே அதை வானத்துக்கு நேராக இறைத்தான்; அப்பொழுது மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எரிபந்தமான கொப்புளங்கள் எழும்பிற்று.

10. And they toke asshes out of ye fornace, & stode before Pharao, & Moses sprenkled it towarde heaue. Then were there sores and blaynes vpon men & vpon catell,

11. அந்தக் கொப்புளங்கள் மந்திரவாதிகள்மேலும் எகிப்தியர் எல்லார்மேலும் உண்டானதினால், அந்தக் கொப்புளங்களின் நிமித்தம் மந்திரவாதிகளும் மோசேக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கக்கூடாதிருந்தது.

11. so that the Sorcerers might not stode before Moses by reason of the sores. For there were sores vpo the Sorcerers as well as vpon all the Egipcians.

12. ஆனாலும், கர்த்தர் மோசேயோடே சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே, கர்த்தர் பார்வோனின் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினார்; அவன் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவில்லை.
ரோமர் 9:18

12. But the LORDE hardened Pharaos hert, so that he herkened not vnto them, eue as the LORDE had sayde vnto Moses.

13. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ அதிகாலமே எழுந்திருந்து போய், பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக நின்று: எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிடு.

13. Then sayde the LORDE vnto Moses: Get the vp tomorow by tymes, & stonde before Pharao, & speake vnto him: Thus sayeth ye LORDE God of the Hebrues: let my people go, yt they maye serue me,

14. விடாதிருந்தால், பூமியெங்கும் என்னைப்போல் வேறொருவரும் இல்லை என்பதை நீ அறியும்படிக்கு, இந்தமுறை நான் சகலவித வாதைகளையும் உன் இருதயத்திலும், உன் ஊழியக்காரர்மேலும் உன் ஜனங்கள்மேலும் அனுப்புவேன்.

14. els wyll I at this tyme sende all my plages in to thine hert, & vpon thy seruautes & vpon thy people: that thou mayest knowe, yt there is none like me in all londes.

15. நீ பூமியில் இராமல் நாசமாய்ப்போகும்படி நான் என் கையை நீட்டி, உன்னையும் உன் ஜனங்களையும் கொள்ளை நோயினால் வாதிப்பேன்.

15. For I will now stretch out my hande, & smyte the & thy people wt pestilence, so yt thou shalt be roted out from the earth.

16. என்னுடைய வல்லமையை உன்னிடத்தில் காண்பிக்கும்படியாகவும், என் நாமம் பூமியிலெங்கும் பிரஸ்தாபமாகும்படியாகவும் உன்னை நிலைநிறுத்தினேன்.

16. Yet haue I stered ye vp for this cause, euen to shew my power vpon ye, and that my name might be declared in all londes.

17. நீ என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடாமல், இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் உன்னை உயர்த்துகிறாயா?

17. Thou holdest my people yet, & wilt not let them go,

18. எகிப்து தோன்றிய நாள்முதல் இதுவரைக்கும் அதில் பெய்யாத மிகவும் கொடிய கல்மழையை நாளை இந்நேரம் பெய்யப்பண்ணுவேன்.

18. beholde, tomorow aboute this tyme wyll I cause a mightie greate hayle to rayne, soch as hath not bene in the londe of Egipte, sence the tyme that it was grouded, hither to.

19. இப்பொழுதே ஆள் அனுப்பி, உன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வெளியில் உனக்கு இருக்கிற யாவையும் சேர்த்துக்கொள்; வீட்டிலே சேர்க்கப்படாமல் வெளியிலிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் மிருகமும் செத்துப்போகத்தக்கதாய் அந்தக் கல்மழை பெய்யும் என்று எபிரெயரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல் என்றார்.

19. And now sende thou, & saue thy catell, & all yt thou hast in the felde: for all men & catell that shalbe founde in the felde, & not brought in to the houses, yf the hayle fall vpon them, they shall dye.

20. பார்வோனுடைய ஊழியக்காரரில் எவன் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைக்குப் பயப்பட்டானோ, அவன் தன் வேலைக்காரரையும் தன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வீடுகளுக்கு ஓடிவரப்பண்ணினான்.

20. Now who so feared the worde of the LORDE amonge Pharaos seruauntes, caused his seruauntes & catell to flye in to the houses:

21. எவன் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை மதியாமற்போனானோ, அவன் தன் வேலைக்காரரையும் தன் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வெளியிலே விட்டுவிட்டான்.

21. but loke whose hertes regarded not the worde of ye LORDE, left their seruauntes and catell in the felde.

22. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் மனிதர்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருக்கிற சகலவிதமான பயிர் வகைகள்மேலும் கல்மழை பெய்ய, உன் கையை வானத்திற்கு நேராக நீட்டு என்றார்.

22. Then sayde the LORDE vnto Moses: Strech out thy hande towarde heaue, that it maye hayle vpon all the lande of Egipte, vpon men, vpon catell, & vpon all herbes of the felde in the lande of Egipte.

23. அப்படியே மோசே தன் கோலை வானத்திற்கு நேராக நீட்டினான். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இடிமுழக்கங்களையும் கல்மழையையும் அனுப்பினார்; அக்கினி தரையின்மேல் வேகமாய் ஓடிற்று; எகிப்து தேசத்தின்மேல் கர்த்தர் கல்மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினார்;

23. So Moses stretched out his staff towarde heauen, and the LORDE caused it to thonder & hayle, so yt the fyre ranne alonge vpon the earth. Thus the LORDE hayled & rayned vpon the londe of Egipte,

24. கல்மழையும் கல்மழையோடே கலந்த அக்கினியும் மிகவும் கொடிதாயிருந்தது; எகிப்து தேசம் குடியேற்றப்பட்ட நாள்முதல் அதில் அப்படி ஒருபோதும் உண்டானதில்லை.

24. so that the hayle & fyre wente so horrybly together, as neuer was in all the lade of Egipte, sens the tyme that there were people therin.

25. எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் மனிதரையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும், வெளியிலே இருந்தவைகள் எவைகளோ அவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் அந்தக் கல்மழை அழித்துப்போட்டது; அது வெளியின் பயிர்வகைகளையெல்லாம் அழித்து, வெளியின் மரங்களையெல்லாம் முறித்துப்போட்டது.

25. And the hayle smote the whole lande of Egipte, all that was vpon ye felde, both men & catell, & smote all the herbes vpon the felde, & brake all the trees vpon ye felde,

26. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் இருந்த கோசேன் நாட்டிலே மாத்திரம் கல்மழை இல்லாதிருந்தது.

26. saue onely in the lande of Gosen, where the childre of Israel were, there it hayled not.

27. அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைப்பித்து: நான் இந்த முறை பாவம் செய்தேன்; கர்த்தர் நீதியுள்ளவர்; நானும் என் ஜனமும் துன்மார்க்கர்.

27. Then sent Pharao & called for Moses & Aaron, & sayde vnto them: Now haue I synned, ye LORDE is righteous, but I & my people are vngodly.

28. இது போதும்; இந்த மகா இடிமுழக்கங்களும் கல்மழையும் ஒழியும்படிக்கு, கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுங்கள்; நான் உங்களைப் போகவிடுவேன், இனி உங்களுக்குத் தடையில்லை என்றான்.

28. Yet praye ye vnto the LORDE, that the thonder & hayle of God maye ceasse, then wyl I let you go, that ye shal tary here no longer.

29. மோசே அவனை நோக்கி: நான் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டவுடனே, என் கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரிப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கங்கள் ஓய்ந்து கல்மழை நின்றுபோகும்; அதினால் பூமி கர்த்தருடையது என்பதை நீர் அறிவீர்.

29. Moses sayde vnto him: Whan I am come out of the cite, I wyll stretch out myne handes vnto the LORDE, so shal the thonder ceasse, & there shal be nomore hayle: that thou mayest knowe, that the earth is the LORDES.

30. ஆகிலும் நீரும் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரும் இன்னும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படமாட்டீர்கள் என்பதை அறிவேன் என்றான்.

30. But I knowe, yt both thou & thy seruauntes feare not yet the LORDE God.

31. அப்பொழுது வாற்கோதுமை கதிர்ப்பயிரும் சணல் தாள்ப்பயிருமாயிருந்தது; அதினால் சணலும் வாற்கோதுமையும் அழிக்கப்பட்டுப்போயிற்று.

31. Thus the flax and the barlye were smytten: for the barlye was shot vp, & ye flax was boulled:

32. கோதுமையும் கம்பும் கதிர்விடாதிருந்ததால், அவைகள் அழிக்கப்படவில்லை.

32. but the wheate and ye rye were not smytten, for they were late sowen.

33. மோசே பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன் கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரித்தான்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கமும் கல்மழையும் நின்றது; மழையும் பூமியில் பெய்யாமலிருந்தது.

33. So Moses wente from Pharao out of ye cite, & stretched out his hades vnto ye LORDE. And ye thoder & the hayle ceassed, & the rayne dropped not vpo the earth.

34. மழையும் கல்மழையும் இடிமுழக்கமும் நின்றுபோனதைப் பார்வோன் கண்டபோது, அவனும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரரும் பின்னும் பாவம்செய்து, தங்கள் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

34. But wha Pharao sawe yt the rayne & thonder & hayle ceassed, he synned agayne, and herdened his hert, he & his seruauntes.

35. கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே, பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது; அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைப் போகவிடவில்லை.

35. So Pharaos hert was hardened, yt he let not the childre of Israel go, eue as the LORDE had sayde by Moses.
