1. கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: பார், உன்னை நான் பார்வோனுக்கு தேவனாக்கினேன்; உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் உன் தீர்க்கதரிசியாயிருப்பான்.

1. And the Lorde sayde vnto Moyses: behold, I haue made thee Pharaos God: and Aaron thy brother shalbe thy prophete.

2. நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடும் யாவையும் நீ சொல்லவேண்டும்; பார்வோன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைத் தன் தேசத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிடும்படி உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் அவனிடத்தில் பேசவேண்டும்.

2. Thou shalt speake all that I commaunde thee, and Aaron thy brother shall speake vnto Pharao, that he sende the children of Israel out of his lande.

3. நான் பார்வோனின் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, எகிப்துதேசத்தில் என் அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் மிகுதியாய் நடப்பிப்பேன்.

3. And I will harden Pharaos heart, and multiplie my miracles & my wonders in the lande of Egypt.

4. பார்வோன் உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கமாட்டான்; ஆகையால் எகிப்துக்கு விரோதமாக நான் என் கையை நீட்டி, மகா தண்டனையினால் என் சேனைகளும் என் ஜனங்களுமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணுவேன்.

4. But Pharao shall not hearken vnto you, that I may set my hande vpon Egypt, and bryng out myne armies, and my people the chyldren of Israel out of the land of Egypt in great iudgmentes.

5. நான் எகிப்தின்மேல் என் கையை நீட்டி, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை அவர்கள் நடுவிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணும்போது, நானே கர்த்தர் என்று எகிப்தியர் அறிவார்கள் என்றார்.

5. And the Egyptians shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I stretch foorth my hande vpon Egypt, and bryng out the children of Israel fro among them.

6. மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.

6. Moyses and Aaron did as the Lord commaunded them, [euen] so did they.

7. அவர்கள் பார்வோனோடே பேசும்போது, மோசேக்கு எண்பது வயதும், ஆரோனுக்கு எண்பத்துமூன்று வயதுமாயிருந்தது.

7. Moyses was fourescore yere olde, and Aaron fourescore and three, when they spake vnto Pharao.

8. கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி:

8. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses and Aaron, saying:

9. உங்கள் பட்சத்திற்கு ஒரு அற்புதம் காட்டுங்கள் என்று பார்வோன் உங்களோடே சொன்னால்; அப்பொழுது நீ ஆரோனை நோக்கி: உன் கோலை எடுத்து அதைப் பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாகப்போடு என்பாயாக; அது சர்ப்பமாகும் என்றார்.

9. If Pharao speake vnto you, saying, shewe a miracle for you: thou shalt say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharao, that it may be a serpent.

10. மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய், கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி செய்தார்கள். ஆரோன் பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாகவும், அவன் ஊழியக்காரருக்கு முன்பாகவும் தன் கோலைப் போட்டான், அது சர்ப்பமாயிற்று.

10. Then went Moyses and Aaron in vnto Pharao, and dyd euen as the Lorde had commaunded: and Aaron caste foorth his rodde before Pharao, and before his seruauntes, and it [turned] to a serpent.

11. அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் சாஸ்திரிகளையும் சூனியக்காரரையும் அழைப்பித்தான். எகிப்தின் மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்கள் மந்திரவித்தையினால் அப்படிச் செய்தார்கள்.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:8

11. Then Pharao called for the wyse men, and enchaunters: and those sorcerers of Egypt dyd in like maner with their sorcerie.

12. அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவனாகத் தன்தன் கோலைப் போட்டபோது, அவைகள் சர்ப்பங்களாயின; ஆரோனுடைய கோலோ அவர்களுடைய கோல்களை விழுங்கிற்று.

12. For they cast downe euery man his rod, and they [turned] to serpentes: but Aarons rodde did eate vp their roddes.

13. கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடி பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது, அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடாமற் போனான்.

13. And he helde Pharaos heart that he hearkened not vnto them, euen as the Lorde had sayde.

14. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினமாயிற்று; ஜனங்களை விடமாட்டேன் என்கிறான்.

14. The Lorde also sayde vnto Moyses: Pharaos heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

15. காலமே நீ பார்வோனிடத்துக்குப் போ, அவன் நதிக்குப் புறப்பட்டு வருவான்; நீ அவனுக்கு எதிராக நதியோரத்திலே நின்று, சர்ப்பமாக மாறின கோலை உன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டு,

15. Get thee vnto Pharao in the morning, loe, he wyll come vnto the water, and thou shalt stand vpo the ryuers brincke agaynst he come: and the rodde whiche was turned to a serpent, shalt thou take in thyne hande:

16. அவனை நோக்கி: வனாந்தரத்தில் எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லும்படி எபிரெயருடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னை உம்மிடத்துக்கு அனுப்பியும், இது வரைக்கும் நீர் கேளாமற்போனீர்.

16. And thou shalt say vnto hym: the Lorde God of the Hebrewes hath sent me vnto thee, saying: Let my people go, that they may serue me in the wyldernesse: and beholde, hytherto thou wouldest not heare.

17. இதோ, என் கையில் இருக்கிற கோலினால் நதியில் இருக்கிற தண்ணீர்மேல் அடிப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது அது இரத்தமாய் மாறி,
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 11:6

17. Thus sayeth the Lord, In this thou shalt knowe that I am the Lorde: beholde, I wyll smyte with the rodde that is in my hande, the waters whiche are in the ryuers, and they shalbe turned to blood.

18. நதியில் இருக்கிற மீன்கள் செத்து, நதி நாறிப்போம்; அப்பொழுது நதியில் இருக்கிற தண்ணீரை எகிப்தியர் குடிக்கக்கூடாமல் அரோசிப்பார்கள்; இதினால் நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வாய் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

18. And the fishe that is in the riuer, shall dye: and the ryuer shall corrupt, and it shall greeue the Egyptians to drinke of the water of the ryuer.

19. மேலும், கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ ஆரோனிடத்தில் உன் கோலை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு எகிப்தின் நீர்நிலைகளாகிய அவர்கள் வாய்க்கால்கள்மேலும், நதிகள்மேலும், குளங்கள்மேலும், தண்ணீர் நிற்கிற எல்லா இடங்கள்மேலும், அவைகள் இரத்தமாகும்படிக்கு, உன் கையை நீட்டு; அப்பொழுது எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் மரப்பாத்திரங்களிலும், கற்பாத்திரங்களிலும் இரத்தம் உண்டாயிருக்கும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

19. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses: say vnto Aaron, Take thy rodde, and stretche out thyne hand ouer the waters of Egypt, ouer their streames, ouer their riuers and pondes, and all pooles of water whiche they haue, that they may be blood, and that there may be blood throughout all ye lande of Egypt, both in [vesselles] of wood, & also of stone.

20. கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடி மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் செய்தார்கள்; பார்வோனுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், அவன் ஊழியக்காரரின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் கோலை ஓங்கி, நதியிலுள்ள தண்ணீரை அடிக்க, நதியிலுள்ள தண்ணீரெல்லாம் இரத்தமாய் மாறிப்போயிற்று.

20. And Moyses and Aaron did euen as the Lorde commaunded: and he lyfte vp the rodde, and smote the waters that were in the ryuer in the sight of Pharao, and in the sight of his seruauntes: and all the water that was in the ryuer, turned into blood.

21. நதியின் மீன்கள் செத்து, நதி நாறிப்போயிற்று; நதியின் தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்க எகிப்தியருக்குக் கூடாமற்போயிற்று; எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் இரத்தமாயிருந்தது.

21. And the fishe that was in the ryuer dyed: and the ryuer corrupted, and the Egyptians coulde not drinke of the waters of the ryuer, and there was blood throughout all the lande of Egypt.

22. எகிப்தின் மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்கள் மந்திரவித்தையினால் அப்படிச் செய்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடி பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது; அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடாமற்போனான்.

22. And the enchaunters of Egypt dyd lykewyse with their sorceries, and he heardened Pharaos heart, neyther did he hearken vnto them, as the Lorde had sayde.

23. பார்வோன் இதையும் சிந்தியாமல், தன் வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனான்.

23. And Pharao turned him selfe, and went agayne into his house, and set not his heart thervnto.

24. நதியின் தண்ணீர் குடிக்க உதவாதபடியால், குடிக்கத்தக்க தண்ணீருக்காக எகிப்தியர் எல்லாரும் நதியோரத்தில் ஊற்றுத் தோண்டினார்கள்.

24. And the Egyptians dygged rounde about the ryuer for water to drinke: for they coulde not drinke of the water of the ryuer.

25. கர்த்தர் நதியை அடித்து ஏழுநாள் ஆயிற்று.

25. And it continued seuen dayes after that the Lorde had smyten the ryuer.
