1. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ ஆரோனையும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரராகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்னும் ஆரோனின் குமாரரையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வாயாக.
எபிரேயர் 5:4

1. And take thou vnto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sonnes with him from among the children of Israel, that Aaron may minister vnto me in the priestes office, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aarons sonnes.

2. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கு, மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாய் இருக்கும் பொருட்டு, பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

2. And thou shalt make holy rayment for Aaron thy brother, glorious and beautifull.

3. ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யத்தக்கதாக அவனைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தும்படி அவனுக்கு வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கும்பொருட்டு, நான் ஞானத்தின் ஆவியால் நிரப்பின விவேகமான இருதயமுள்ள யாவரோடும் நீ சொல்லுவாயாக.

3. And thou shalt speake vnto all that are wise hearted, whom I haue filled with the spirite of wisdome, that they make Aarons rayment to consecrate him, that he may minister vnto me in the priestes office.

4. அவர்கள் உண்டாக்கவேண்டிய வஸ்திரங்களாவன; மார்ப்பதக்கமும், ஏபோத்தும், அங்கியும், விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், பாகையும், இடைக்கச்சையுமே. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, அவனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணவேண்டும்.

4. These are the garmentes which they shall make, a brestlap and an ephod, a tunicle, a brodered coate, a miter, and a girdle, these holy garmentes shall they make for Aaron thy brother and his sonnes, that they may minister vnto me in the priestes office.

5. அவர்கள் பொன்னும் இளநீலநூலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலும் சிவப்புநூலும் மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலும் சேகரிப்பார்களாக.

5. And let them take golde, blewe silke, purple, scarlet, and whyte twined silke,

6. ஏபோத்தைப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.

6. They shall make the ephod of golde, blewe silke, purple, scarlet, and whyte twined silke, with brodered worke.

7. அது ஒன்றாக இணைக்கப்படும் பொருட்டு, இரண்டு தோள்த்துண்டுகளின்மேலும், அதின் இரண்டு முனைகளும் சேர்க்கப்படவேண்டும்.

7. The two sides shall come together, and be closed vp in the two edges therof.

8. அந்த ஏபோத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டிய விசித்திரமான கச்சை அந்த வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகவே, பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் பண்ணப்பட்டு, அதனோடே ஏகமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

8. And the girdle of the ephod shalbe of the same workmanship, and of the same stuffe, euen of golde, blewe silke, purple, scarlet, and whyte twined silke.

9. பின்னும் நீ இரண்டு கோமேதகக்கற்களை எடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை அவைகளில் வெட்டுவாயாக.

9. And thou shalt take two Onyx stones, and graue in them the names of the children of Israel.

10. அவர்கள் பிறந்த வரிசையின்படியே, அவர்களுடைய நாமங்களில் ஆறு நாமங்கள் ஒரு கல்லிலும், மற்ற ஆறு நாமங்கள் மறு கல்லிலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

10. Sixe names of them in the one stone, and the other sixe in the other stone, accordyng to their birth.

11. இரத்தினங்களில் முத்திரை வெட்டுகிறவர்கள் செய்யும் வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாக அந்த இரண்டு கற்களிலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை வெட்டி, அவைகளைப் பொன் குவளைகளில் பதிப்பாயாக.

11. After the worke of a stone grauer and of him that graueth signettes, shalt thou graue the two stones, with the names of the children of Israel, and shalt make them to be set in ouches of golde.

12. ஆரோன் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தன் இரண்டு தோள்களின்மேலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை ஞாபகக்குறியாகச் சுமந்துவர, அந்த இரண்டு கற்களையும் ஏபோத்து தோள்களின்மேல் அவர்களை நினைக்கும்படியான கற்களாக வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

12. And thou shalt put the two stones vpon the two shoulders of the ephod [that they may be] stones of remembraunce vnto the children of Israel: and Aaron shal beare their names before the Lord vpon his two shoulders for a remembraunce.

13. பொன்னினால் வளையங்களைப்பண்ணி,

13. And thou shalt make ouches of golde:

14. சரியான அளவுக்குப் பின்னல்வேலையான இரண்டு சங்கிலிகளையும், பசும்பொன்னினால் உண்டாக்கி, அந்தச் சங்கிலிகளை அந்த வளையங்களில் பூட்டுவாயாக.

14. And two chaynes of fine golde of a certayne length, linke worke & wreathed, and fasten the wreathed chaynes to the ouches.

15. நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்தையும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்வாயாக; அதை ஏபோத்து வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் செய்வாயாக.

15. And thou shalt make the brestlap of iudgement with brodered worke: euen after the worke of the ephod thou shalt make it [namely] of golde, blewe silke, purple, scarlet, and whyte twined silke.

16. அது சதுரமும் இரட்டையும், ஒரு சாண் நீளமும் ஒரு சாண் அகலமுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

16. Foure square it shalbe and double, an hande bredth long, and an hande bredth brode.

17. அதிலே நாலு பத்தி இரத்தினக்கற்களை நிறையப் பதிப்பாயாக; முதலாம் பத்தி பத்மராகமும் புஷ்பராகமும் மாணிக்கமும்,

17. And thou shalt fill it with foure rowes of stones: in the first rowe shalbe a Sardius, a Topas, and Smaragdus.

18. இரண்டாம் பத்தி மரகதமும் இந்திரநீலமும் வச்சிரமும்,

18. In the seconde rowe, a Rubi, Saphir, and Diamonde.

19. மூன்றாம் பத்தி கெம்பும் வைடூரியமும் சுகந்தியும்,

19. In the thirde a Lyncurius, an Achat, and an Ametyst.

20. நாலாம் பத்தி படிகப்பச்சையும் கோமேதகமும் யஸ்பியுமாய் இருப்பதாக; இவைகள் அந்தந்தப் பத்தியில் பொன்னினாலே பதித்திருக்கவேண்டும்.

20. In the fourth a Turcas, an Onyx, and a Iaspis: and they shalbe set in golde in their inclosers.

21. இந்தக் கற்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நாமங்களின்படியே பன்னிரண்டும், அவர்களுடைய நாமங்கள் அவைகளில் வெட்டப்பட்டவைகளுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றினுடைய நாமம் ஒவ்வொன்றிலே முத்திரைவெட்டாய் வெட்டியிருக்கவேண்டும்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21:12-13

21. And the stones shalbe grauen, as signettes be grauen with the names of the children of Israel, euen with twelue names, euery one with his name accordyng to the twelue tribes.

22. மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு அதின் பக்கங்களிலே பின்னல்வேலையான பசும்பொன் சங்கிலிகளையும் பண்ணி,

22. And thou shalt make vpon the brestlap two fastenyng chaynes of pure golde and wreathen worke.

23. அந்த மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு இரண்டு பொன் வளையங்களையும் பண்ணி, அந்த இரண்டு வளையங்களையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலே வைத்து,

23. And thou shalt make likewise vpon the brestlap two ringes of golde, and put them on the edges of the brestlap.

24. பொன்னினால் செய்த அந்த இரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் பக்கங்களில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டி,

24. And put the two wreathen chaynes of golde in the two ringes which are in the edges of the brestlap.

25. அவ்விரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளின் இரண்டு நுனிகளை ஏபோத்துத் தோள்த்துண்டின்மேல் அதின் முன்புறத்தில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டுவாயாக.

25. And the other two endes of the chaines thou shalt fasten in two close ouches, and put them vpon the shoulders of the ephod on the foreside of it.

26. நீ இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் கீழ்ப்புறத்திற்கு எதிரான மார்ப்பதக்கத்தினுடைய மற்ற இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் அதினுடைய ஓரத்திற்குள்ளாக வைத்து,

26. And thou shalt yet make two ringes of golde, which thou shalt put in the two edges of the brestlap [euen] in the borders therof, towarde the inside of the ephod ouer agaynst it.

27. வேறே இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் முன்புறத்து இரண்டு கீழ்ப்பக்கங்களில் அதின் இணைப்புக்கு எதிராகவும், ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாகவும் வைத்து,

27. And yet two [other] ringes of gold thou shalt make, and put them on the two sides of ye Ephod beneath ouer agaynst the brestlap, alowe where the sides are ioyned together vpon the brodered gyrdle of the Ephod.

28. மார்ப்பதக்கம் ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும்படிக்கும், அது ஏபோத்திலிருந்து நீங்காதபடிக்கும், அதை அதின் வளையங்களால் ஏபோத்து வளையங்களோடே இளநீல நாடாவினால் கட்டவேண்டும்.

28. And they shall bynde the brestlap by his ringes, vnto ye ringes of the Ephod, with a lase of blewe silke, that it may lye close aboue the brodered gyrdle of the Ephod, and that the brestlap be not loosed from the Ephod.

29. ஆரோன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களைத் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேலிருக்கும் நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் ஞாபகக்குறியாக எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்.

29. And Aaron shall beare the names of the children of Israel in the brestlap of iudgement vpon his heart, when he goeth into the holy place, for a remembraunce before the Lorde alway.

30. நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே ஊரீம் தும்மீம் என்பவைகளை வைப்பாயாக; ஆரோன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, அவைகள் அவன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஆரோன் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நியாயவிதியைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

30. And thou shalt put in the brestlap of iudgment the Urim & the Thummim, and they shalbe [euen] vpo Aarons heart whe he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall beare the iudgement of the children of Israel vpon his heart before the Lorde alway.

31. ஏபோத்தின் கீழ் அங்கியை முழுவதும் இளநீலநூலால் உண்டாக்கக்கடவாய்.

31. And thou shalt make the tunicle vnto the Ephod, altogether of blewe silke.

32. தலை நுழைகிற அதின் துவாரம் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கவும், அதின் துவாரத்துக்கு நெய்யப்பட்ட வேலையான ஒரு நாடா சுற்றிலும் இருக்கவும் வேண்டும்; அது கிழியாதபடிக்கு மார்க்கவசத்தின் துவாரத்துக்கு ஒத்ததாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

32. And there shalbe an hole for the head in the middest of it, hauyng a bonde of wouen worke rounde about the coller of it, as it were the coller of a partlet, that it rent not.

33. அதின் கீழோரங்களில் இளநீலநூல் இரத்தாம்பரநூல் சிவப்புநூல் வேலையால் செய்யப்பட்ட மாதளம்பழங்களையும், அவைகளுக்கு இடையிடையே சுற்றிலும் பொன்மணிகளையும் அதின் ஓரங்களில் சுற்றிலும் தொங்கும்படி பண்ணிவைக்கவேண்டும்.

33. And beneath vpon the hem, thou shalt make pomgranates of blewe sylke, and of purple, and of scarlet, rounde about the hem, and belles of gold betweene them rounde about.

34. அங்கியின் ஓரங்களில் சுற்றிலும் ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமும், ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமுமாய்த் தொங்குவதாக.

34. And let there be euer a golden bell and a pomgranate: a golden bell and a pomgranate rounde about vpon the hem of the tunicle.

35. ஆரோன் ஆராதனை செய்யக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும், வெளியே வரும்போதும், அவன் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அதின் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படும்படி அதைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

35. And Aaron shall haue it vpon hym when he ministreth, and the sound shalbe hearde when he goeth into the holy place before the Lorde, & when he commeth out: and he shall not dye.

36. பசும்பொன்னினால் ஒரு பட்டத்தைப்பண்ணி, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று அதிலே முத்திரை வெட்டாக வெட்டி,

36. And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and graue theron as signettes are grauen, the holynes of the Lorde.

37. அது பாகையிலிருக்கும்படி அதை இளநீல நாடாவினால் பாகையின் முகப்பிலே கட்டுவாயாக.

37. And put it on a blewe sylke lase to be vpon the mytre, euen vpon the forefront of it.

38. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் பரிசுத்த காணிக்கைகளாகப் படைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளின் தோஷத்தை ஆரோன் சுமக்கும்படி, அது ஆரோனுடைய நெற்றியின்மேல் இருப்பதாக; கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அவர்கள் அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, அது எப்பொழுதும் அவன் நெற்றியின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

38. And it shalbe vpon Aarons forehead, that Aaron may beare the sinne of the holy thinges, whiche the children of Israel halowe in all their holy gyftes: and it shalbe alwayes vpon his forehead, for the reconciling of them before the Lorde.

39. மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் பாகையையும் உண்டாக்கி, இடைக்கச்சையைச் சித்திரத்தையல் வேலையாகப்பண்ணுவாயாக.

39. And thou shalt make a coate of white sylke, embrodered with knottes, & thou shalt make a mytre of whyte sylke, and a gyrdle of needle worke.

40. ஆரோனுடைய குமாரருக்கும், மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாயிருக்கும் பொருட்டு, அங்கிகளையும், இடைக்கச்சைகளையும், குல்லாக்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

40. And thou shalt make for Aarons sonnes also coates, and thou shalt make for them gyrdles, & bonettes shalt thou make for them, glorious and bewtiful.

41. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரரும் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ அந்த வஸ்திரங்களை அவர்களுக்கு உடுத்தி, அவர்களை அபிஷேகஞ்செய்து, அவர்களைப் பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணி, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவாயாக.

41. And thou shalt put them vpon Aaron thy brother, & on his sonnes with hym, and shalt annoynt them, and fill their handes, & sanctifie them, that they may minister vnto me in the priestes office.

42. அவர்களுடைய நிர்வாணத்தை மூடும்படிக்கு, இடுப்புத்தொடங்கி முழங்கால்மட்டும் உடுத்த சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

42. And thou shalt make them lynnen sloppes to couer their priuities: fro the loynes vnto ye thighes they shal reache.

43. ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே ஆராதனைசெய்ய ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும் பலிபீடத்தண்டைக்குச் சேரும்போதும், அக்கிரமம் சுமந்து அவர்கள் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளைத் தரித்திருக்கவேண்டும்; இது அவனுக்கும் அவனுக்குப் பின்வரும் சந்ததிக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளை.

43. And they shalbe vpon Aaron and his sonnes when they come into the tabercle of the congregatio, or whe they come vnto the aulter to minister in holines: that they beare no sinne, & so dye. And it shalbe a lawe for euer vnto Aaron, and his seede after him.
