1. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ ஆரோனையும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரராகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்னும் ஆரோனின் குமாரரையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வாயாக.
எபிரேயர் 5:4

1. Thou thyself, therefore bring near unto thee Aaron thy brother and his sons with him out of the midst of the sons of Israel, that they may minister as priests unto me, Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar sons of Aaron.

2. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கு, மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாய் இருக்கும் பொருட்டு, பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

2. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for glory and for beauty.

3. ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யத்தக்கதாக அவனைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தும்படி அவனுக்கு வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கும்பொருட்டு, நான் ஞானத்தின் ஆவியால் நிரப்பின விவேகமான இருதயமுள்ள யாவரோடும் நீ சொல்லுவாயாக.

3. Thou thyself, therefore, shalt speak unto all the wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, and they shall make Aaron's garments, to hallow him for ministering as priest unto me.

4. அவர்கள் உண்டாக்கவேண்டிய வஸ்திரங்களாவன; மார்ப்பதக்கமும், ஏபோத்தும், அங்கியும், விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், பாகையும், இடைக்கச்சையுமே. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, அவனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணவேண்டும்.

4. These, therefore are the garments which they shall make a breastpiece, and an ephod and a robe, and a tunic of checker work, a turban and a girdle, so shall they make holy garments for Aaron thy brother and for his sons, for ministering as priests unto me.

5. அவர்கள் பொன்னும் இளநீலநூலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலும் சிவப்புநூலும் மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலும் சேகரிப்பார்களாக.

5. They themselves, therefore, shall take the gold, and the blue and the purple, and the crimson, and the fine linen.

6. ஏபோத்தைப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.

6. And they shall make the ephod, of gold, blue and purple crimson and fine-twined linen, the work of a skilful weaver.

7. அது ஒன்றாக இணைக்கப்படும் பொருட்டு, இரண்டு தோள்த்துண்டுகளின்மேலும், அதின் இரண்டு முனைகளும் சேர்க்கப்படவேண்டும்.

7. Two joining shoulderpieces, shall there be to it upon the two extremities thereof that it may be joined together,

8. அந்த ஏபோத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டிய விசித்திரமான கச்சை அந்த வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகவே, பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் பண்ணப்பட்டு, அதனோடே ஏகமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

8. And the curious band for fastening it, that is upon it, like the work thereof of the same, shall it be, of gold blue and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen,

9. பின்னும் நீ இரண்டு கோமேதகக்கற்களை எடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை அவைகளில் வெட்டுவாயாக.

9. And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and engrave upon them the names of the sons of Israel:

10. அவர்கள் பிறந்த வரிசையின்படியே, அவர்களுடைய நாமங்களில் ஆறு நாமங்கள் ஒரு கல்லிலும், மற்ற ஆறு நாமங்கள் மறு கல்லிலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

10. six of their names, on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain, on the second stone according to their births:

11. இரத்தினங்களில் முத்திரை வெட்டுகிறவர்கள் செய்யும் வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாக அந்த இரண்டு கற்களிலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை வெட்டி, அவைகளைப் பொன் குவளைகளில் பதிப்பாயாக.

11. with the work of a stone engraver, like seal-ring engravings, shalt thou engrave the two stones, after the names of the sons of Israel, to be encircled with settings of gold, shalt thou make them.

12. ஆரோன் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தன் இரண்டு தோள்களின்மேலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை ஞாபகக்குறியாகச் சுமந்துவர, அந்த இரண்டு கற்களையும் ஏபோத்து தோள்களின்மேல் அவர்களை நினைக்கும்படியான கற்களாக வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

12. And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, as stones of memorial for the sons of Israel, so shall Aaron bear their names before Yahweh upon his two shoulders, for a memorial.

13. பொன்னினால் வளையங்களைப்பண்ணி,

13. And thou shalt make ouches of gold;

14. சரியான அளவுக்குப் பின்னல்வேலையான இரண்டு சங்கிலிகளையும், பசும்பொன்னினால் உண்டாக்கி, அந்தச் சங்கிலிகளை அந்த வளையங்களில் பூட்டுவாயாக.

14. and two chains of pure gold, like cord, shalt thou make them, of wreathen work, and thou shalt put the wreathen chains on the ouches.

15. நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்தையும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்வாயாக; அதை ஏபோத்து வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் செய்வாயாக.

15. And thou shalt make a breastpiece for giving sentence the work of a skilful weaver, like the work of the ephod, shalt thou make it, of gold, blue, and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen, shalt thou make it.

16. அது சதுரமும் இரட்டையும், ஒரு சாண் நீளமும் ஒரு சாண் அகலமுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

16. Four-square, shall it be double, a span the length thereof and a span the breadth thereof.

17. அதிலே நாலு பத்தி இரத்தினக்கற்களை நிறையப் பதிப்பாயாக; முதலாம் பத்தி பத்மராகமும் புஷ்பராகமும் மாணிக்கமும்,

17. And thou shalt set therein a setting of stones, four rows of stones, one row a sardius, a topaz and an emerald, the first row;

18. இரண்டாம் பத்தி மரகதமும் இந்திரநீலமும் வச்சிரமும்,

18. and the second row a carbuncle a sapphire and a diamond;

19. மூன்றாம் பத்தி கெம்பும் வைடூரியமும் சுகந்தியும்,

19. and the third row an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;

20. நாலாம் பத்தி படிகப்பச்சையும் கோமேதகமும் யஸ்பியுமாய் இருப்பதாக; இவைகள் அந்தந்தப் பத்தியில் பொன்னினாலே பதித்திருக்கவேண்டும்.

20. and the fourth row, a Tarshish stone, a sardonyx, and a jasper, enclosed with gold, shall they be when they are set.

21. இந்தக் கற்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நாமங்களின்படியே பன்னிரண்டும், அவர்களுடைய நாமங்கள் அவைகளில் வெட்டப்பட்டவைகளுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றினுடைய நாமம் ஒவ்வொன்றிலே முத்திரைவெட்டாய் வெட்டியிருக்கவேண்டும்.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21:12-13

21. And the stones shall be after the names of the sons of Israel twelve, after their names, as the engravings of a seal-ring everyone after his name, shall they be, for the twelve tribes,

22. மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு அதின் பக்கங்களிலே பின்னல்வேலையான பசும்பொன் சங்கிலிகளையும் பண்ணி,

22. And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, chains like cords of wreathen work, of pure gold.

23. அந்த மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு இரண்டு பொன் வளையங்களையும் பண்ணி, அந்த இரண்டு வளையங்களையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலே வைத்து,

23. And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, two rings of gold, and thou shalt place the two rings, upon the two ends of the breastpiece.

24. பொன்னினால் செய்த அந்த இரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் பக்கங்களில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டி,

24. And thou shalt hang the two wreathen chains of gold upon the two rings, upon the ends of the breastpiece;

25. அவ்விரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளின் இரண்டு நுனிகளை ஏபோத்துத் தோள்த்துண்டின்மேல் அதின் முன்புறத்தில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டுவாயாக.

25. and the other two ends of the two wreathen chains, shalt thou fasten upon the two ouches, so shalt thou hang them upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, in the forefront thereof.

26. நீ இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் கீழ்ப்புறத்திற்கு எதிரான மார்ப்பதக்கத்தினுடைய மற்ற இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் அதினுடைய ஓரத்திற்குள்ளாக வைத்து,

26. And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastpiece upon the border thereof, which is on the side of the ephod inwards.

27. வேறே இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் முன்புறத்து இரண்டு கீழ்ப்பக்கங்களில் அதின் இணைப்புக்கு எதிராகவும், ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாகவும் வைத்து,

27. And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and place them upon the two shoulderpieces of the ephod beneath, on the front of the face thereof, over against its joining, above the curious band of the ephod:

28. மார்ப்பதக்கம் ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும்படிக்கும், அது ஏபோத்திலிருந்து நீங்காதபடிக்கும், அதை அதின் வளையங்களால் ஏபோத்து வளையங்களோடே இளநீல நாடாவினால் கட்டவேண்டும்.

28. that they may bind the breastpiece by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, so that it may remain upon the curious band of the ephod, and the breastpiece not be removed from of the ephod.

29. ஆரோன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களைத் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேலிருக்கும் நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் ஞாபகக்குறியாக எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்.

29. So shall Aaron bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece for giving sentence upon his heart when he goeth into the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.

30. நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே ஊரீம் தும்மீம் என்பவைகளை வைப்பாயாக; ஆரோன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, அவைகள் அவன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஆரோன் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நியாயவிதியைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

30. Thus shalt thou place, in the breastpiece for giving sentence, the lights and the perfections, so shall they be upon the heart of Aaron when he goeth in before Yahweh, so shall Aaron bear the sentence of the sons of Israel, upon his heart before Yahweh continually.

31. ஏபோத்தின் கீழ் அங்கியை முழுவதும் இளநீலநூலால் உண்டாக்கக்கடவாய்.

31. And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod wholly of blue;

32. தலை நுழைகிற அதின் துவாரம் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கவும், அதின் துவாரத்துக்கு நெய்யப்பட்ட வேலையான ஒரு நாடா சுற்றிலும் இருக்கவும் வேண்டும்; அது கிழியாதபடிக்கு மார்க்கவசத்தின் துவாரத்துக்கு ஒத்ததாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

32. and the opening for his head shall be in the midst thereof, a border, shall there be to the opening thereof round about the work of a weaver, like the opening of a coat of mail, shall there be to it, it must not be rent.

33. அதின் கீழோரங்களில் இளநீலநூல் இரத்தாம்பரநூல் சிவப்புநூல் வேலையால் செய்யப்பட்ட மாதளம்பழங்களையும், அவைகளுக்கு இடையிடையே சுற்றிலும் பொன்மணிகளையும் அதின் ஓரங்களில் சுற்றிலும் தொங்கும்படி பண்ணிவைக்கவேண்டும்.

33. And thou shalt make upon the skirts thereof pomegranates of blue and purple and crimson, upon the skirts thereof round about and bells of gold in the midst of them round about:

34. அங்கியின் ஓரங்களில் சுற்றிலும் ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமும், ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமுமாய்த் தொங்குவதாக.

34. a bell of gold and a pomegranate, a bell of gold, and a pomegranate, upon the skirts of the robe, round about.

35. ஆரோன் ஆராதனை செய்யக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும், வெளியே வரும்போதும், அவன் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அதின் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படும்படி அதைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

35. And it shall be upon Aaron, for ministering, so shall be heard the sound of him when he goeth into the holy place, before Yahweh, and cometh out, and dieth not.

36. பசும்பொன்னினால் ஒரு பட்டத்தைப்பண்ணி, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று அதிலே முத்திரை வெட்டாக வெட்டி,

36. And thou shalt make a burnished plate, of pure gold, and shalt engrave thereupon, like the engravings of a seal-ring, Holiness to Yahweh.

37. அது பாகையிலிருக்கும்படி அதை இளநீல நாடாவினால் பாகையின் முகப்பிலே கட்டுவாயாக.

37. And thou shalt put it upon a cord of blue, so shall it be upon the turban, upon the forefront of the turban, shall it be.

38. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் பரிசுத்த காணிக்கைகளாகப் படைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளின் தோஷத்தை ஆரோன் சுமக்கும்படி, அது ஆரோனுடைய நெற்றியின்மேல் இருப்பதாக; கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அவர்கள் அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, அது எப்பொழுதும் அவன் நெற்றியின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

38. So shall it be upon the forehead of Aaron, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the hallowed things, which the sons of Israel shall hallow, for all their hallowed gift, and it shall be upon his forehead continually, that there may be acceptance for them before Yahweh.

39. மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் பாகையையும் உண்டாக்கி, இடைக்கச்சையைச் சித்திரத்தையல் வேலையாகப்பண்ணுவாயாக.

39. And thou shalt weave, in checker work the tunic of fine linen, and shalt make a turban of fine linen, and, a girdle, shalt thou make the work of an embroiderer.

40. ஆரோனுடைய குமாரருக்கும், மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாயிருக்கும் பொருட்டு, அங்கிகளையும், இடைக்கச்சைகளையும், குல்லாக்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

40. And, for the sons of Aaron, shalt thou make tunics, and shalt make for them girdles, and caps, shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

41. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரரும் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ அந்த வஸ்திரங்களை அவர்களுக்கு உடுத்தி, அவர்களை அபிஷேகஞ்செய்து, அவர்களைப் பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணி, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவாயாக.

41. And thou shalt clothe therewith Aaron thy brother, and his sons, with him, and shalt anoint them and install them, and hallow them, so shall they minister as priests unto me.

42. அவர்களுடைய நிர்வாணத்தை மூடும்படிக்கு, இடுப்புத்தொடங்கி முழங்கால்மட்டும் உடுத்த சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

42. And thou shalt make for them breeches of linen, to cover their unseemliness, from the loins even unto the thighs, shall they be;

43. ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே ஆராதனைசெய்ய ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும் பலிபீடத்தண்டைக்குச் சேரும்போதும், அக்கிரமம் சுமந்து அவர்கள் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளைத் தரித்திருக்கவேண்டும்; இது அவனுக்கும் அவனுக்குப் பின்வரும் சந்ததிக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளை.

43. so shall they be upon Aaron and upon his sons, when they go into the tent of meeting, or when they approach unto the altar, to minister in the holy place, lest they bear iniquity, and die, a statute age-abiding, to him and to his seed after him.
