1. பின்பு அவர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீயும் ஆரோனும் நாதாபும் அபியூவும் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரில் எழுபதுபேரும் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் ஏறிவந்து, தூரத்திலிருந்து பணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

1. Now He said to Moses, 'Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.

2. மோசே மாத்திரம் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் சமீபித்து வரலாம்; அவர்கள் சமீபித்து வரலாகாது; ஜனங்கள் அவனோடேகூட ஏறிவரவேண்டாம் என்றார்.

2. 'And Moses alone shall come near the LORD, but they shall not come near; nor shall the people go up with him.'

3. மோசே வந்து, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் நியாயங்கள் யாவையும் ஜனங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் ஏகசத்தமாய்: கர்த்தர் அருளின எல்லா வார்த்தைகளின்படியும் செய்வோம் என்று பிரதியுத்தரம் சொன்னார்கள்.

3. So Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, 'All the words which the LORD has said we will do.'

4. மோசே கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் எழுதிவைத்து, அதிகாலமே எழுந்து, மலையின் அடியில் ஒரு பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டி, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரங்களுடைய இலக்கத்தின்படியே பன்னிரண்டு தூண்களை நிறுத்தினான்.

4. And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் வாலிபரை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் சர்வாங்கதகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, கர்த்தருக்குச் சமாதானபலிகளாகக் காளைகளைப் பலியிட்டார்கள்.

5. Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.

6. அப்பொழுது மோசே அந்த இரத்தத்தில் பாதி எடுத்து, பாத்திரங்களில் வார்த்து, பாதி இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தெளித்து,

6. And Moses took half the blood and put [it] in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7. உடன்படிக்கையின் புஸ்தகத்தை எடுத்து, ஜனங்களின் காது கேட்க வாசித்தான்; அவர்கள் கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியெல்லாம் செய்து, கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

7. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, 'All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient.'

8. அப்பொழுது மோசே இரத்தத்தை எடுத்து, ஜனங்களின்மேல் தெளித்து, இந்த வார்த்தைகள் யாவையுங்குறித்து கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தம் இதுவே என்றான்.

8. And Moses took the blood, sprinkled [it] on the people, and said, 'This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words.'

9. பின்பு மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் நாதாபும் அபியூவும், இஸ்ரவேலருடைய மூப்பரின் எழுபதுபேரும் ஏறிப்போய்,

9. Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

10. இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனைத் தரிசித்தார்கள். அவருடைய பாதத்தின்கீழே நீலக்கல்லிழைத்த வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகவும் தெளிந்த வானத்தின் பிரபைக்கு ஒப்பாகவும் இருந்தது.

10. and they saw the God of Israel. And [there was] under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in [its] clarity.

11. அவர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய அதிபதிகள்மேல் தம்முடைய கையை நீட்டவில்லை; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசித்து, பின்பு புசித்துக் குடித்தார்கள்.

11. But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank.

12. அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ மலையின்மேல் என்னிடத்திற்கு ஏறிவந்து, அங்கே இரு நான் உனக்குக் கற்பலகைகளையும், நீ அவர்களுக்கு உபதேசிப்பதற்கு, நான் எழுதின நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தையும் கற்பனைகளையும் கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:3

12. Then the LORD said to Moses, 'Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.'

13. அப்பொழுது மோசே தன் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய யோசுவாவோடே எழுந்து போனான். மோசே தேவ பர்வதத்தில் ஏறிப்போகையில்,

13. So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

14. அவன் மூப்பரை நோக்கி: நாங்கள் உங்களிடத்தில் திரும்பிவருமட்டும், நீங்கள் இங்கே எங்களுக்காகக் காத்திருங்கள்; ஆரோனும் ஊரும் உங்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஒருவனுக்கு யாதொரு காரியம் உண்டானால், அவன் அவர்களிடத்தில் போகலாம் என்றான்.

14. And he said to the elders, 'Wait here for us until we come back to you. Indeed Aaron and Hur [are] with you. If any man has a difficulty, let him go to them.'

15. மோசே மலையின்மேல் ஏறினபோது, ஒரு மேகம் மலையை மூடிற்று.

15. Then Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.

16. கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் தங்கியிருந்தது; மேகம் ஆறுநாள் அதை மூடியிருந்தது; ஏழாம்நாளில் அவர் மேகத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்து மோசேயைக் கூப்பிட்டார்.

16. Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17. மலையின் கொடுமுடியிலே கர்த்தருடைய மகிமையின் காட்சி இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய கண்களுக்குப் பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினியைப்போல் இருந்தது.

17. The sight of the glory of the LORD [was] like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18. மோசே மேகத்தின் நடுவிலே பிரவேசித்து, மலையின்மேல் ஏறி, இரவும் பகலும் நாற்பதுநாள் மலையில் இருந்தான்.

18. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
