1. கர்த்தர் எகிப்து தேசத்தில் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி:
மத்தேயு 26:2

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2. இந்த மாதம் உங்களுக்குப் பிரதான மாதம்; இது உங்களுக்கு வருஷத்தின் முதலாம் மாதமாயிருப்பதாக.

2. This month [shall be] to you the beginning of months: it [shall be] the first month of the year to you.

3. நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் யாவரையும் நோக்கி: இந்த மாதம் பத்தாம் தேதியில் வீட்டுத்தலைவர்கள், வீட்டுக்கு ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியாக, ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளக்கடவர்கள்.

3. Speak ye to all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of [their] fathers, a lamb for an house:

4. And if the household shall be too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5. அந்த ஆட்டுக்குட்டி பழுதற்றதும் ஆணும் ஒருவயதுள்ளதுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; செம்மறியாடுகளிலாவது வெள்ளாடுகளிலாவது அதைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம்.

5. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] from the sheep, or from the goats:

6. அதை இந்த மாதம் பதினாலாம் தேதிவரைக்கும் வைத்திருந்து, இஸ்ரவேல் சபையின் ஒவ்வொரு கூட்டத்தாரும் சாயங்காலத்தில் அதை அடித்து,

6. And ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

7. அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, தாங்கள் அதைப் புசிக்கும் வீட்டுவாசல் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் நிலையின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் தெளித்து,

7. And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, in which they shall eat it.

8. அன்று ராத்திரியிலே அதின் மாம்சத்தை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டு, புளிப்பில்லா அப்பத்தோடும் கசப்பான கீரையோடும் அதைப் புசிக்கக்கடவர்கள்.

8. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread; [and] with bitter [herbs] they shall eat it.

9. பச்சையாயும் தண்ணீரில் அவிக்கப்பட்டதாயும் அல்ல; அதின் தலையையும் அதின் தொடைகளையும் அதற்குள்ள யாவையும் ஏகமாய் நெருப்பினால் சுட்டதாய் அதைப் புசிப்பீர்களாக.

9. Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted [with] fire; its head with its legs, and with its inward parts.

10. அதிலே ஒன்றையும் விடியற்காலம் மட்டும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல், விடியற்காலம் மட்டும் அதிலே மீதியாய் இருக்கிறதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிப்பீர்களாக.

10. And ye shall let nothing of it remain till the morning; and that which remaineth of it till the morning ye shall burn with fire.

11. அதைப் புசிக்கவேண்டிய விதமாவது, நீங்கள் உங்கள் அரைகளில் கச்சை கட்டிக்கொண்டும், உங்கள் கால்களில் பாதரட்சை தொடுத்துக்கொண்டும், உங்கள் கையில் தடி பிடித்துக்கொண்டும் அதைத் தீவிரமாய்ப் புசிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அது கர்த்தருடைய பஸ்கா.

11. And thus shall ye eat it; [with] your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it [is] the LORD'S passover.

12. அந்த ராத்திரியிலே நான் எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் கடந்துபோய், எகிப்துதேசத்திலுள்ள மனிதர்முதல் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மட்டும், முதற்பேறாயிருக்கிறவைகளையெல்லாம் அதம்பண்ணி, எகிப்து தேவர்களின்மேல் நீதியைச் செலுத்துவேன்; நானே கர்த்தர்.

12. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD.

13. நீங்கள் இருக்கும் வீடுகளில் அந்த இரத்தம் உங்களுக்காக அடையாளமாய் இருக்கும்; அந்த இரத்தத்தை நான் கண்டு, உங்களைக் கடந்துபோவேன்; நான் எகிப்து தேசத்தை அழிக்கும்போது, அழிக்கும் வாதை உங்களுக்குள்ளே வராதிருக்கும்.

13. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.

14. அந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுகூருதலான நாளாய் இருக்கக்கடவது; அதைக் கர்த்தருக்குப் பண்டிகையாக ஆசரிப்பீர்களாக; அதை உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் நித்திய நியமமாக ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

14. And this day shall be to you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

15. Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whoever eateth leavened bread from the first day till the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

16. And in the first day [there shall be] an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, except what every man must eat, that only may be done by you.

17. புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகையை ஆசரிப்பீர்களாக; இந்த நாளில்தான் நான் உங்கள் சேனைகளை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினேன்; ஆகையால், உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் நித்திய நியமமாக இந்த நாளை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

17. And ye shall observe [the feast of] unleavened bread; for in this same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

18. முதலாம் மாதம் பதினாலாம் தேதி சாயங்காலந்தொடங்கி மாதத்தின் இருபத்தோராம் தேதி சாயங்காலம்வரைக்கும் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் புசிக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

18. In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, ye shall eat unleavened bread, till the one and twentieth day of the month at evening.

19. ஏழுநாளளவும் உங்கள் வீடுகளில் புளித்த மா காணப்படலாகாது; எவனாகிலும் புளிப்பிடப்பட்டதைப் புசித்தால், அவன் பரதேசியானாலும் சுதேசியானாலும், அந்த ஆத்துமா இஸ்ரவேல் சபையில் இராமல் அறுப்புண்டுபோவான்.

19. Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he shall be a stranger, or born in the land.

20. புளிப்பிடப்பட்ட யாதொன்றையும் நீங்கள் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்; உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலெல்லாம் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் புசிக்கக்கடவீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

20. Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

21. அப்பொழுது மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மூப்பர் யாவரையும் அழைப்பித்து: நீங்கள் உங்கள் குடும்பங்களுக்குத் தக்கதாக உங்களுக்கு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்துக்கொண்டு, பஸ்காவை அடித்து,

21. Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, Draw out and take for yourselves a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

22. ஈசோப்புக் கொழுந்துகளின் கொத்தை எடுத்து கிண்ணியில் இருக்கும் இரத்தத்தில் தோய்த்து, அதில் இருக்கும் அந்த இரத்தத்தை வாசல் நிலைக்கால்களின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் வாசலின் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் தெளியுங்கள்; விடியற்காலம் வரைக்கும் உங்களில் ஒருவரும் வீட்டு வாசலைவிட்டுப் புறப்படவேண்டாம்.

22. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip [it] in the blood that [is] in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that [is] in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house till the morning.

23. கர்த்தர் எகிப்தியரை அதம்பண்ணுகிறதற்குக் கடந்துவருவார்; நிலையின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் வாசலின் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் அந்த இரத்தத்தைக் காணும்போது, கர்த்தர் சங்காரக்காரனை உங்கள் வீடுகளில் உங்களை அதம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு வரவொட்டாமல், வாசற்படியை விலகிக் கடந்துபோவார்.

23. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not permit the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite [you].

24. இந்தக் காரியத்தை உங்களுக்கும் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் நித்திய நியமமாகக் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்.
லூக்கா 2:41

24. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

25. கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குத் தாம் சொன்னபடி கொடுக்கப்போகிற தேசத்திலே நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேரும்போது, இந்த ஆராதனையைக் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவீர்கள்.

25. And it shall come to pass, when ye shall have come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

26. அப்பொழுது உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள்: இந்த ஆராதனையின் கருத்து என்ன என்று உங்களைக் கேட்டால்,

26. And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, What mean you by this service?

27. இது கர்த்தருடைய பஸ்காவாகிய பலி; அவர் எகிப்தியரை அதம்பண்ணி, நம்முடைய வீடுகளைத் தப்பப்பண்ணினபோது, எகிப்திலிருந்த இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய வீடுகளைக் கடந்துபோனார் என்று நீங்கள் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றான். அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் தலை வணங்கிப் பணிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.

27. That ye shall say, It [is] the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

28. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் போய் அப்படியே செய்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.

28. And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

29. நடுராத்திரியிலே சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கும் பார்வோனுடைய தலைப்பிள்ளைமுதல் காவல் கிடங்கிலிருக்கும் சிறைப்பட்டவனின் தலைப்பிள்ளைவரைக்கும், எகிப்து தேசத்தில் இருந்த முதற்பேறனைத்தையும், மிருகஜீவன்களின் தலையீற்றனைத்தையும் கர்த்தர் அழித்தார்.

29. And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that [was] in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

30. அப்பொழுது பார்வோனும் அவனுடைய சகல ஊழியக்காரரும் எகிப்தியர் யாவரும் இராத்திரியிலே எழுந்திருந்தார்கள்; மகா கூக்குரல் எகிப்திலே உண்டாயிற்று; சாவில்லாத ஒரு வீடும் இருந்ததில்லை.

30. And Pharaoh rose in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for [there was] not a house where [there was] not one dead.

31. இராத்திரியிலே அவன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைப்பித்து: நீங்களும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரும் எழுந்து, என் ஜனங்களைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப் போய், நீங்கள் சொன்னபடியே கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யுங்கள்.

31. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Arise, [and] depart from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

32. நீங்கள் சொன்னபடியே உங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளையும் ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோங்கள்; என்னையும் ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள் என்றான்.

32. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

33. எகிப்தியர்: நாங்கள் எல்லாரும் சாகிறோமே என்று சொல்லி, தீவிரமாய் அந்த ஜனங்களைத் தேசத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிட அவர்களை மிகவும் துரிதப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

33. And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We [are] all dead [men].

34. பிசைந்தமா புளிக்குமுன் ஜனங்கள் அதைப் பாத்திரத்துடனே தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களில் கட்டி, தங்கள் தோள்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போனார்கள்.

34. And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

35. மோசே சொல்லியிருந்தபடி இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் எகிப்தியரிடத்தில் வெள்ளியுடைமைகளையும் பொன்னுடைமைகளையும் வஸ்திரங்களையும் கேட்டார்கள்.

35. And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

36. கர்த்தர் ஜனங்களுக்கு எகிப்தியரின் கண்களில் தயவு கிடைக்கும்படி செய்ததினால், கேட்டதை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இவ்விதமாய் அவர்கள் எகிப்தியரைக் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள்.

36. And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave to them [such things as they requested]. And they plundered the Egyptians.

37. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் ராமசேசை விட்டுக் கால்நடையாகப் பிரயாணம்பண்ணி, சுக்கோத்துக்குப் போனார்கள்; அவர்கள், பிள்ளைகள் தவிர ஆறுலட்சம் புருஷராயிருந்தார்கள்.

37. And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot [that were] men, besides children.

38. அவர்களோடே கூடப் பல ஜாதியான ஜனங்கள் அநேகர் போனதுமன்றி, மிகுதியான ஆடுமாடுகள் முதலான மிருகஜீவன்களும் போயிற்று.

38. And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, [even] very many cattle.

39. எகிப்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் கொண்டு வந்த பிசைந்தமாவைப் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களாகச் சுட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் எகிப்தில் தரிக்கக்கூடாமல் துரத்திவிடப்பட்டதினால், அது புளியாதிருந்தது; அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வழிக்கென்று ஒன்றும் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணவில்லை.

39. And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought from Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were driven from Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any food.

40. இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்திலே குடியிருந்த காலம் நானூற்றுமுப்பது வருஷம்.
கலாத்தியர் 3:17

40. Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, [was] four hundred and thirty years.

41. நானூற்றுமுப்பது வருஷம் முடிந்த அன்றைத்தினமே கர்த்தருடைய சேனைகள் எல்லாம் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டது.

41. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the same day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD departed from the land of Egypt.

42. கர்த்தர் அவர்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினதினால், இது அவருக்கென்று முக்கியமாய் ஆசரிக்கத்தக்க இராத்திரியாயிற்று; இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியார் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் கர்த்தருக்கு முக்கியமாய் ஆசரிக்கவேண்டிய இராத்திரி இதுவே.

42. It [is] a night to be much observed to the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this [is] that night of the LORD to be observed by all the children of Israel in their generations.

43. மேலும், கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: பஸ்காவின் நியமமாவது, அந்நிய புத்திரன் ஒருவனும் அதைப் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்.

43. And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, This [is] the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat of it:

44. பணத்தினால் கொள்ளப்பட்ட அடிமையானவன் எவனும், நீ அவனுக்கு விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணினபின், அவன் அதைப் புசிக்கலாம்.

44. But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.

45. அந்நியனும் கூலியாளும் அதிலே புசிக்கவேண்டாம்.

45. A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat of it.

46. அதை ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிற்குள்ளும் புசிக்கவேண்டும்; அந்த மாம்சத்தில் கொஞ்சமாகிலும் வீட்டிலிருந்து வெளியே கொண்டுபோகக்கூடாது; அதில் ஒரு எலும்பையும் முறிக்கக்கூடாது.

46. In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry any of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone of it.

47. இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் எல்லாரும் அதை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவர்கள்.

47. All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

48. அந்நியன் ஒருவன் உன்னிடத்திலே தங்கி, கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவை ஆசரிக்கவேண்டுமென்று இருந்தால், அவனைச் சேர்ந்த ஆண்பிள்ளைகள் யாவரும் விருத்தசேதனம்பண்ணப்படவேண்டும்; பின்பு அவன் சேர்ந்து அதை ஆசரிக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் சுதேசியைப்போல் இருப்பான்; விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாத ஒருவரும் அதில் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்.

48. And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

49. சுதேசிக்கும் உங்களிடத்தில் தங்கும் பரதேசிக்கும் ஒரே பிரமாணம் இருக்கக்கடவது என்றார்.

49. One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and to the stranger that sojourneth among you.

50. இப்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரும் செய்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.

50. Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

51. அன்றைத்தினமே கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை அணியணியாய் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்.

51. And it came to pass the same day, [that] the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
