1. தேவனே, என்னை இரட்சியும்; வெள்ளங்கள் என் ஆத்துமாமட்டும் பெருகிவருகிறது.

2. I sink in deep mire, and there is no standing; I have come into deep waters where the floods overflow me.

4. They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies; then I give back what I did not take away.

5. O God, You know my foolishness, and my guiltiness is not hidden from You.

6. O Jehovah of Hosts, do not let those who wait on You be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel.

9. For the zeal of Your house has consumed Me; and the reproaches of the ones who reproach You have fallen on Me.

10. When I humbled my soul with fasting, it also was to my reproach;

11. I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a mockery to them.

12. வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; மதுபானம் பண்ணுகிறவர்களின் பாடலானேன்.

12. They who sit in the gate spoke of me; and I was the song of drunkards.

13. ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, அநுக்கிரககாலத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பஞ்செய்கிறேன்; தேவனே, உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலும் உமது இரட்சிப்பின் சத்தியத்தினாலும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.

13. But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Jehovah, at a time of favor, O God! in the plentitude of Your mercy answer me, in the truth of Your salvation.

14. நான் அமிழ்ந்திப்போகாதபடிக்குச் சேற்றினின்று என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடும்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களினின்றும் நிலையாத ஜலத்தினின்றும் நான் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும்.

14. Deliver me out of the mire, that I may not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15. ஜலப்பிரவாகங்கள் என்மேல் புரளாமலும், ஆழம் என்னை விழுங்காமலும், பாதாளம் என்மேல் தன் வாயை அடைத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பதாக.

15. Let not the flood waters overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut its mouth on me.

16. கர்த்தாவே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளும், உம்முடைய தயை நலமாயிருக்கிறது; உமது உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களின்படி என்னைக் கடாட்சித்தருளும்.

16. Hear me, O Jehovah, for Your mercy is good; in the plentitude of Your tender mercies, turn toward me.

17. உமது முகத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்கு மறையாதேயும்; நான் வியாகுலப்படுகிறேன், எனக்குத் தீவிரமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.

17. And do not hide Your face from Your servant; for it is distressing to Me; answer Me quickly;

18. draw near My soul; redeem it; ransom Me because of My enemies.

19. தேவரீர் என் நிந்தையையும் என் வெட்கத்தையும் என் அவமானத்தையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் சத்துருக்கள் எல்லாரும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

19. You have known My reproach, and My shame, and My dishonor; those vexing Me are all before You.

20. நிந்தை என் இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது; நான் மிகவும் வேதனைப்படுகிறேன்; எனக்காக பரிதபிக்கிறவனுண்டோ என்று காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனும் இல்லை; தேற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக் காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனையும் காணேன்.

20. Reproach has broken My heart, and I am faint; and I waited for one to show pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21. They also gave Me gall in My food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.

28. Blot them out from the Book of Life; yea, let them not be written with the righteous.

29. But I am poor and in pain; O God, Your salvation shall set me on high.

30. தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பாட்டினால் துதித்து, அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரத்தினால் மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன்.

30. I will praise God's name in a song; and I will magnify Him with thanks.

31. கொம்பும் விரிகுளம்புமுள்ள காளையெருதைப்பார்க்கிலும், இதுவே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கும்.

31. And it shall please Jehovah more than an ox, horned or hoofed bull.

32. சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் இதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களே, உங்கள் இருதயம் வாழும்.

32. The humble have seen and are glad; you who seek God, your heart shall live.

33. கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணியார்.

33. For Jehovah hears the needy, and He does not despise His prisoners.

34. வானமும் பூமியும் சமுத்திரங்களும் அவைகளில் சஞ்சரிக்கிறயாவும் அவரைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது.

34. Let the heavens and the earth praise Him, the seas, and everything that moves in them.

35. தேவன் சீயோனை இரட்சித்து, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டுவார்; அப்பொழுது அங்கே குடியிருந்து அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.

35. For God will save Zion; and He will build the cities of Judah, and they shall live there and possess it.

36. அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் சந்ததியார் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்; அவருடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அதில் வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள்.

36. And His servants' seed shall inherit; and they who love His name shall live in it.
