1. தேவனே, நீர் என் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, பக்தியில்லாத ஜாதியாரோடு எனக்காக வழக்காடி, சூதும் அநியாயமுமான மனுஷனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.

1. Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause, Against a nation, without lovingkindness, From the man of deceit and perversity, wilt thou deliver me?

4. That I may go in unto the altar of God, Unto GOD, mine exultant joy, That I may praise thee with the lyre, O God mine own God!

5. என் ஆத்துமாவே, நீ ஏன் கலங்குகிறாய்? ஏன் எனக்குள் தியங்குகிறாய்? தேவனை நோக்கிக் காத்திரு; என் முகத்திற்கு இரட்சிப்பும் என் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறவரை நான் இன்னும் துதிப்பேன்;
