1. கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும்.

1. [By David; when he pretended to be insane before Avimelekh, who drove him away, and he departed.] I will bless the LORD at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

2. கர்த்தருக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா மேன்மைபாராட்டும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக்கேட்டு மகிழுவார்கள்.

2. My soul shall boast in the LORD. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.

3. என்னோடே கூடக் கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; நாம் ஒருமித்து அவர் நாமத்தை உயர்த்துவோமாக.

3. Oh magnify the LORD with me. Let us exalt his name together.

4. நான் கர்த்தரைத் தேடினேன், அவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என்னுடைய எல்லாப் பயத்துக்கும் என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிட்டார்.

4. I sought the LORD, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.

5. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

6. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

8. Oh taste and see that the LORD is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

9. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, அவருக்குப் பயந்திருங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குக் குறைவில்லை.

9. Oh fear the LORD, you his holy ones, For there is no lack with those who fear him.

10. சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையுங்குறைவுபடாது.

10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11. பிள்ளைகளே, வந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலை உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன்.

11. Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12. நன்மையைக் காணும்படி, ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நீடித்த நாட்களை அபேட்சிக்கிற மனுஷன் யார்?

12. Who is someone who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?

13. உன் நாவைப் பொல்லாப்புக்கும், உன் உதடுகளைக் கபட்டுவசனிப்புக்கும் விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள்.

13. Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking lies.

15. கர்த்தருடைய கண்கள் நீதிமான்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அவருடைய செவிகள் அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கிறது.

15. The LORD's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

16. தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பேரைப் பூமியில் இராமல் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ண, கர்த்தருடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.

16. The LORD's face is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the eretz.

17. நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார்.

17. The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

18. நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார்.

18. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves those who have a crushed spirit.

19. நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாயிருக்கும், கர்த்தர் அவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் நின்று அவனை விடுவிப்பார்.

19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

20. அவனுடைய எலும்புகளையெல்லாம் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவைகளில் ஒன்றும் முறிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
யோவான் 19:36

20. He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

21. தீமை துன்மார்க்கனைக் கொல்லும்; நீதிமானைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாவார்கள்.

21. Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

22. கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.

22. The LORD redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
