1. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நான் ஒருக்காலும் வெட்கமடையாதபடி செய்யும்; உமது நீதியினிமித்தம் என்னை விடுவியும்.

1. i1 [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] i0 par In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.

2. உமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்து, சீக்கிரமாய் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; நீர் எனக்குப் பலத்த துருகமும், எனக்கு அடைக்கலமான அரணுமாயிரும்.

2. Extend Your ear to me; rescue me quickly; be my rock of refuge, a house of defense to deliver me.

3. என் கன்மலையும் என் கோட்டையும் நீரே; உமது நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டி, என்னை நடத்தியருளும்.

3. For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore for Your great name lead me and guide me.

4. அவர்கள் எனக்கு மறைவாய் வைத்த வலைக்கு என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்; தேவரீரே எனக்கு அரண்.

4. Bring me out of the net that they have hid for me, for You are my strength.

5. Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Jehovah, the Mighty God of Truth.

6. வீண்மாயைகளைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களை நான் வெறுத்து, கர்த்தரையே நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.

6. I have hated those who regard lying vanities; but I trust in Jehovah.

7. உமது, கிருபையிலே களிகூர்ந்து மகிழுவேன்; நீர் என் உபத்திரவத்தைப் பார்த்து, என் ஆத்தும வியாகுலங்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.

7. I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy; for You have looked upon my affliction; You have known the distress of my soul,

8. சத்துருவின் கையில் என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடாமல், என் பாதங்களை விசாலத்திலே நிறுத்தினீர்.

8. and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place.

9. எனக்கு இரங்கும் கர்த்தாவே, நான் நெருக்கப்படுகிறேன்; துக்கத்தினால் என் கண்ணும் என் ஆத்துமாவும் என் வயிறுங்கூடக் கருகிப்போயிற்று.

9. Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in trouble; my eye has wasted away with grief; even my soul and my belly.

10. என் பிராணன் சஞ்சலத்தினாலும், என் வருஷங்கள் தவிப்பினாலும் கழிந்துபோயிற்று; என் அக்கிரமத்தினாலே என் பெலன் குறைந்து, என் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று.

10. For my life has been spent with grief, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones have wasted away.

11. என் சத்துருக்களாகிய யாவர் நிமித்தமும், நான் என் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையும், எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்களுக்கு அருக்களிப்புமானேன்; வீதியிலே என்னைக் கண்டவர்கள் எனக்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

11. I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbors, and an object of dread to my friends; those who saw me outside have fled from me.

12. செத்தவனைப்போல எல்லாராலும் முழுவதும் மறக்கப்பட்டேன்; உடைந்த பாத்திரத்தைப்போலானேன்.

12. I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.

13. அநேகர் சொல்லும் அவதூறைக் கேட்டேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக அவர்கள் ஏகமாய் ஆலோசனை பண்ணுகிறதினால் திகில் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது; என் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறார்கள்.

13. For I have heard the slander of many; fear is on every side; while they take counsel together against me, they have plotted to take away my life.

14. நானோ, கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நீரே என் தேவன் என்று சொன்னேன்.

14. But I trusted in You, O Jehovah; I have said, You are my God.

15. என் காலங்கள் உமது கரத்திலிருக்கிறது; என் சத்துருக்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.

15. My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.

16. நீர் உமது முகத்தை உமது ஊழியக்காரன்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உமது கிருபையினாலே என்னை இரட்சியும்.

16. Make Your face shine upon Your servant; in Your mercy deliver me.

17. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; துன்மார்க்கர் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் பாதாளத்தில் மவுனமாயிருக்கட்டும்.

17. Let me not be ashamed, O Jehovah; for I have called upon You. Let the wicked be ashamed; let them be silent in Sheol.

18. நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமையோடும் இகழ்ச்சியோடும் கடினமாய்ப் பேசுகிற பொய் உதடுகள் கட்டப்பட்டுப்போவதாக.

18. Let the lying lips be put to silence; the lips which speak with arrogance, haughtiness and contempt against the just.

19. உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கும், மனுபுத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக உம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கும், நீர் உண்டு பண்ணிவைத்திருக்கிற உம்முடைய நன்மை எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கிறது!

19. How great is Your goodness, which You have treasured up for those who fear You, which You have done for those who trust in You before the sons of men!

20. மனுஷருடைய அகங்காரத்துக்கு அவர்களை உமது சமுகத்தின் மறைவிலே மறைத்து, நாவுகளின் சண்டைக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கி, உமது கூடாரத்திலே ஒளித்துவைத்துக் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்.

20. You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the snares of man; You shall hide them in a shelter away from the strife of tongues.

21. கர்த்தர் அரணான நகரத்தில் எனக்குத் தமது கிருபையை அதிசயமாய் விளங்கப்பண்ணினபடியால், அவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

21. Blessed is Jehovah, for He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a besieged city.

22. உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இராதபடிக்கு வெட்டுண்டேன் என்று நான் என் மனக்கலக்கத்திலே சொன்னேன்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, என் விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டீர்.

22. For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Your eyes; but indeed You heard the voice of my supplications, when I cried out to You.

23. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவரில் அன்பு கூருங்கள்; உண்மையானவனைக் கர்த்தர் தற்காத்து, இடும்பு செய்கிறவனுக்குப் பூரணமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

23. O love Jehovah, all you His saints; for Jehovah preserves the faithful, and abundantly recompenses the proud doer.

24. கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் திடமனதாயிருங்கள், அவர் உங்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்.
