1. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நான் ஒருக்காலும் வெட்கமடையாதபடி செய்யும்; உமது நீதியினிமித்தம் என்னை விடுவியும்.

2. உமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்து, சீக்கிரமாய் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; நீர் எனக்குப் பலத்த துருகமும், எனக்கு அடைக்கலமான அரணுமாயிரும்.

2. In you, ADONAI, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your justice, save me!

3. என் கன்மலையும் என் கோட்டையும் நீரே; உமது நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டி, என்னை நடத்தியருளும்.

3. Turn your ear toward me, come quickly to my rescue, be for me a rock of strength, a fortress to keep me safe.

4. அவர்கள் எனக்கு மறைவாய் வைத்த வலைக்கு என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்; தேவரீரே எனக்கு அரண்.

4. Since you are my rock and fortress, lead me and guide me for your name's sake.

5. Free me from the net they have hidden to catch me, because you are my strength.

7. I hate those who serve worthless idols; as for me, I trust in ADONAI.

8. சத்துருவின் கையில் என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடாமல், என் பாதங்களை விசாலத்திலே நிறுத்தினீர்.

8. I will rejoice and be glad in your grace, for you see my affliction, you know how distressed I am.

9. எனக்கு இரங்கும் கர்த்தாவே, நான் நெருக்கப்படுகிறேன்; துக்கத்தினால் என் கண்ணும் என் ஆத்துமாவும் என் வயிறுங்கூடக் கருகிப்போயிற்று.

9. You did not hand me over to the enemy; you set my feet where I can move freely.

10. என் பிராணன் சஞ்சலத்தினாலும், என் வருஷங்கள் தவிப்பினாலும் கழிந்துபோயிற்று; என் அக்கிரமத்தினாலே என் பெலன் குறைந்து, என் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று.

10. Show me favor, ADONAI, for I am in trouble. My eyes grow dim with anger, my soul and body as well.

11. என் சத்துருக்களாகிய யாவர் நிமித்தமும், நான் என் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையும், எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்களுக்கு அருக்களிப்புமானேன்; வீதியிலே என்னைக் கண்டவர்கள் எனக்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

11. For my life is worn out with sorrow and my years with sighing; my strength gives out under my guilt, and my bones are wasting away.

12. செத்தவனைப்போல எல்லாராலும் முழுவதும் மறக்கப்பட்டேன்; உடைந்த பாத்திரத்தைப்போலானேன்.

12. I am scorned by all my adversaries, and even more by my neighbors; even to acquaintances I am an object of fear- when they see me in the street, they turn away from me.

13. அநேகர் சொல்லும் அவதூறைக் கேட்டேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக அவர்கள் ஏகமாய் ஆலோசனை பண்ணுகிறதினால் திகில் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது; என் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறார்கள்.

13. Like a dead man, I have passed from their minds; I have become like a broken pot.

14. நானோ, கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நீரே என் தேவன் என்று சொன்னேன்.

14. All I hear is whispering, terror is all around me; they plot together against me, scheming to take my life.

15. என் காலங்கள் உமது கரத்திலிருக்கிறது; என் சத்துருக்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.

15. But I, I trust in you, ADONAI; I say, 'You are my God.'

16. நீர் உமது முகத்தை உமது ஊழியக்காரன்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உமது கிருபையினாலே என்னை இரட்சியும்.

16. My times are in your hand; rescue me from my enemies' power, from those who persecute me.

17. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; துன்மார்க்கர் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் பாதாளத்தில் மவுனமாயிருக்கட்டும்.

17. Make your face shine on your servant; in your grace, save me.

18. நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமையோடும் இகழ்ச்சியோடும் கடினமாய்ப் பேசுகிற பொய் உதடுகள் கட்டப்பட்டுப்போவதாக.

18. ADONAI, don't let me be put to shame, for I have called on you; let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silenced in Sh'ol.

19. உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கும், மனுபுத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக உம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கும், நீர் உண்டு பண்ணிவைத்திருக்கிற உம்முடைய நன்மை எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கிறது!

19. May lying lips be struck dumb, that speak insolently against the righteous with such pride and contempt.

20. மனுஷருடைய அகங்காரத்துக்கு அவர்களை உமது சமுகத்தின் மறைவிலே மறைத்து, நாவுகளின் சண்டைக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கி, உமது கூடாரத்திலே ஒளித்துவைத்துக் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்.

20. But oh, how great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you do for those who take refuge in you, before people's very eyes!

21. கர்த்தர் அரணான நகரத்தில் எனக்குத் தமது கிருபையை அதிசயமாய் விளங்கப்பண்ணினபடியால், அவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

21. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from human plots, you conceal them in your shelter, safe from contentious tongues.

22. உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இராதபடிக்கு வெட்டுண்டேன் என்று நான் என் மனக்கலக்கத்திலே சொன்னேன்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, என் விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டீர்.

22. Blessed be ADONAI! For he has shown me his amazing grace when I was in a city under siege.

23. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவரில் அன்பு கூருங்கள்; உண்மையானவனைக் கர்த்தர் தற்காத்து, இடும்பு செய்கிறவனுக்குப் பூரணமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

23. As for me, in my alarm I said, 'I have been cut off from your sight!' Nevertheless, you heard my pleas when I cried out to you.

24. கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் திடமனதாயிருங்கள், அவர் உங்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்.

24. Love ADONAI, you faithful of his. ADONAI preserves the loyal, but the proud he repays in full.
