1. [For the choir director. A Davidic psalm.] LORD, I seek refuge in You; let me never be disgraced. Save me by Your righteousness.

2. உமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்து, சீக்கிரமாய் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; நீர் எனக்குப் பலத்த துருகமும், எனக்கு அடைக்கலமான அரணுமாயிரும்.

2. Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a mountain fortress to save me.

3. என் கன்மலையும் என் கோட்டையும் நீரே; உமது நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டி, என்னை நடத்தியருளும்.

3. For You are my rock and my fortress; You lead and guide me because of Your name.

4. You will free me from the net that is secretly set for me, for You are my refuge.

7. I will rejoice and be glad in Your faithful love because You have seen my affliction. You have known the troubles of my life

8. and have not handed me over to the enemy. You have set my feet in a spacious place.

9. எனக்கு இரங்கும் கர்த்தாவே, நான் நெருக்கப்படுகிறேன்; துக்கத்தினால் என் கண்ணும் என் ஆத்துமாவும் என் வயிறுங்கூடக் கருகிப்போயிற்று.

9. Be gracious to me, LORD, because I am in distress; my eyes are worn out from angry sorrow-- my whole being as well.

10. என் பிராணன் சஞ்சலத்தினாலும், என் வருஷங்கள் தவிப்பினாலும் கழிந்துபோயிற்று; என் அக்கிரமத்தினாலே என் பெலன் குறைந்து, என் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று.

10. Indeed, my life is consumed with grief, and my years with groaning; my strength has failed because of my sinfulness, and my bones waste away.

11. என் சத்துருக்களாகிய யாவர் நிமித்தமும், நான் என் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையும், எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்களுக்கு அருக்களிப்புமானேன்; வீதியிலே என்னைக் கண்டவர்கள் எனக்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

11. I am ridiculed by all my adversaries and even by my neighbors. I am an object of dread to my acquaintances; those who see me in the street run from me.

12. செத்தவனைப்போல எல்லாராலும் முழுவதும் மறக்கப்பட்டேன்; உடைந்த பாத்திரத்தைப்போலானேன்.

12. I am forgotten: gone from memory like a dead person-- like broken pottery.

13. அநேகர் சொல்லும் அவதூறைக் கேட்டேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக அவர்கள் ஏகமாய் ஆலோசனை பண்ணுகிறதினால் திகில் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது; என் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறார்கள்.

13. I have heard the gossip of many; terror is on every side. When they conspired against me, they plotted to take my life.

14. நானோ, கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நீரே என் தேவன் என்று சொன்னேன்.

14. But I trust in You, LORD; I say, 'You are my God.'

15. என் காலங்கள் உமது கரத்திலிருக்கிறது; என் சத்துருக்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.

15. The course of my life is in Your power; deliver me from the power of my enemies and from my persecutors.

16. நீர் உமது முகத்தை உமது ஊழியக்காரன்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உமது கிருபையினாலே என்னை இரட்சியும்.

16. Show Your favor to Your servant; save me by Your faithful love.

17. கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; துன்மார்க்கர் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் பாதாளத்தில் மவுனமாயிருக்கட்டும்.

17. LORD, do not let me be disgraced when I call on You. Let the wicked be disgraced; let them be silent in Sheol.

18. நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமையோடும் இகழ்ச்சியோடும் கடினமாய்ப் பேசுகிற பொய் உதடுகள் கட்டப்பட்டுப்போவதாக.

18. Let lying lips be quieted; they speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt.

19. உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கும், மனுபுத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக உம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கும், நீர் உண்டு பண்ணிவைத்திருக்கிற உம்முடைய நன்மை எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கிறது!

19. How great is Your goodness that You have stored up for those who fear You, and accomplished in the sight of everyone for those who take refuge in You.

20. மனுஷருடைய அகங்காரத்துக்கு அவர்களை உமது சமுகத்தின் மறைவிலே மறைத்து, நாவுகளின் சண்டைக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கி, உமது கூடாரத்திலே ஒளித்துவைத்துக் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்.

20. You hide them in the protection of Your presence; You conceal them in a shelter from the schemes of men, from quarrelsome tongues.

21. கர்த்தர் அரணான நகரத்தில் எனக்குத் தமது கிருபையை அதிசயமாய் விளங்கப்பண்ணினபடியால், அவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

21. May the LORD be praised, for He has wonderfully shown His faithful love to me in a city under siege.

22. உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இராதபடிக்கு வெட்டுண்டேன் என்று நான் என் மனக்கலக்கத்திலே சொன்னேன்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, என் விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டீர்.

22. In my alarm I had said, 'I am cut off from Your sight.' But You heard the sound of my pleading when I cried to You for help.

23. கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவரில் அன்பு கூருங்கள்; உண்மையானவனைக் கர்த்தர் தற்காத்து, இடும்பு செய்கிறவனுக்குப் பூரணமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

23. Love the LORD, all His faithful ones. The LORD protects the loyal, but fully repays the arrogant.

24. கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் திடமனதாயிருங்கள், அவர் உங்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்.
