1. To the Chief Musician; set to [the tune of] Aijeleth Hashshahar [the hind of the morning dawn]. A Psalm of David. MY GOD, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? [Matt. 27:46.]

11. Be not far from me, for trouble is near and there is none to help.

12. Many [foes like] bulls have surrounded me; strong bulls of Bashan have hedged me in. [Ezek. 39:18.]

13. பீறி கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கத்தைப்போல், என்மேல் தங்கள் வாயைத் திறக்கிறார்கள்.

13. Against me they opened their mouths wide, like a ravening and roaring lion.

14. தண்ணீரைப்போல ஊற்றுண்டேன்; என் எலும்புகளெல்லாம் கட்டுவிட்டன, என் இருதயம் மெழுகுபோலாகி, என் குடல்களின் நடுவே உருகிற்று.

14. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is softened [with anguish] and melted down within me.

25. My praise shall be of You in the great congregation. I will pay to Him my vows [made in the time of trouble] before them who fear (revere and worship) Him.

26. சிறுமைபட்டவர்கள் புசித்துத் திருப்தியடைவார்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்கள்; உங்கள் இருதயம் என்றென்றைக்கும் வாழும்.

26. The poor and afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the Lord--they who [diligently] seek for, inquire of and for Him, and require Him [as their greatest need]. May your hearts be quickened now and forever!

27. பூமியின் எல்லைகளெல்லாம் நினைவுகூர்ந்து கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பும்; ஜாதிகளுடைய வம்சங்களெல்லாம் உமது சமுகத்தில் தொழுதுகொள்ளும்.

27. All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall bow down and worship before You,

28. ராஜ்யம் கர்த்தருடையது; அவர் ஜாதிகளை ஆளுகிறவர்.

28. For the kingship and the kingdom are the Lord's, and He is the ruler over the nations.

29. பூமியின் செல்வந்தர் யாவரும் புசித்துப் பணிந்துகொள்வார்கள்; புழுதியில் இறங்குகிறவர்கள் யாவரும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக வணங்குவார்கள். ஒருவனும் தன் ஆத்துமா அழியாதபடி அதைக் காக்கக்கூடாதே.

29. All the mighty ones upon earth shall eat [in thanksgiving] and worship; all they that go down to the dust shall bow before Him, even he who cannot keep himself alive.

30. ஒரு சந்ததி அவரைச் சேவிக்கும்; தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக அது ஆண்டவருடைய சந்ததி என்னப்படும்.

30. Posterity shall serve Him; they shall tell of the Lord to the next generation.

31. அவர்கள் வந்து: அவரே இவைகளைச் செய்தார் என்று பிறக்கப்போகிற ஜனங்களுக்கு அவருடைய நீதியை அறிவிப்பார்கள்.

31. They shall come and shall declare His righteousness to a people yet to be born--that He has done it [that it is finished]! [John 19:30.]
